Quiet location and comfortable Poor breakfast service
Good sized twin bedded room, well presented with no major complaints. Free wi-fi in both public areas and bedrooms. Excellent choice and range for breakfast and bar food was good supported by the usual quality of beers from Fullers. Service at breakfast very good. Minor things that are not untypical of most hotels these days. Heated towel rail did not work so we could not re-use towels as requested. Shaver socket did not work. Bulb in lamp standard broken (fixed within an hour). All things that routine checks by hotel staff should be picking up and rectifying before a guest arrives.
bath, tv, aircondition, tea, bathrobes, chocolate, big bed.... Very nice! The breakfast was too salty and they forgot to bring everything, but nice that it was free on saturdays. They couldn't call us a taxi, because of some problems. You loose a star when you can't call a cab.
Very comfortable room. Heating very responsive [during the big freeze]. The food was very disappointing - promising more than it lived up to. Also the room service menu too fancy - some simple sandwiches (toasted or otherwise) would have been lovely.
I chose this hotel because of it's location which was ideal for distance from business premises. Whilst not an important issue - tv screen in bathroom did not work and ceiling appeared to have suffered from some sort of water damage which was not painted and still 'black'. Whilst I received a reduced rate on this occasion I do not believe that the normal tariff is value for money.
The friendly helpful staff and although in the city it was very relaxing environment. Nothing
I was very impressed by the large room and the facilities. Very convenient for the City with an excellent Restaurant and Bar within the Hotel
The room was brilliant and the breakfast was included and very nice - they even did a veggie english breakfast which really helped my hangover! We did have to wait a while to drop our bags off after checking out - but they were happy to look after them which was really useful
The comfort of the rooms and the location
There was a problem with the shower (water temperature regulator); The restaurant service (breakfast) could have been better
We liked the clean and uncluttered room, the large shower space and the comfortable roomy bed. The slow service on check-in (we were running late so needed a quick turnaround) and the fact that the television did not work and it took a member of staff over half an hour to come and fix it.
A consistent high standard is maintained that why we always stay here when visiting London. Nothing.
Large, clean rooms; good beds.
Beds were amazingly comfy. Great location. Wonderful staff. Modern rooms. Would definitely stay again.
Excellent standards. The cost of drinks, (£5 for a whisky), and the fact that when I came to pay the bill, a 12% service charge was added which I wasn't told about when I ordered.
The hotel was clean and comfortable. The decor was beautiful and it was a pleasure to stay there.,.10/10. Would definately go again.
Convenient central location in City of London, near to Tower, river, transport etc Very poor value breakfasts - limited choice of cereal, 'toast' more like lukewarm bread
Room very comfortable, breakfast good, staff excellent. Nothing comes to mind
Clean, modern hotel. Friendly staff and good location for range of attractions. Perfect for a busy weekend break.
I felt I was being attended to at the hotel rather than just attending the Hotel Sound travelled between the rooms too easily. It wasn't a big issue for me but it was noticeable
the beds were very nice
excellent restaurant! highest quality Breakfastbuffet ever! great gym/spa stylish
Complained about my stay ? No reply to date ?
The Andaz is in a great location and near the Liverpool St. Underground station. It is very well maintained and the staff were very helpful and accommodating. There was also plenty of staff if you needed assistance or information.
I found the atmosphere at the Andaz to be very pleasant & relaxing. The majority of the staff were very convivial, efficient & well mannered. They couldn't do enough for you; particularly Sari in 1901 & the "head waiter" in Eastway on the Sat morning. We will definitely bereturning at some point.
The reception people, the room, and the breakfasts were all great. Location is a bit out of the way if you plan on spending lots of time around Mayfair or Knightsbridge, so I ended up spending a ton on taxi. There is subway right around the corner though; but my company wanted to avoid.
High level of service from well presented staff, comfortable accomodation and welcoming coffee louunge. Noisy baby (unregistered) through thin walls in the next room. Your staff were helpful and accomodating
The staff were very courteous and helpful. The interior is definitely a sight to see. The location was excellent. The free Wifi Internet service was poor, and there was no Internet service when hooked up directly to an ethernet cable.
Perfect location. Quiet. Excellent breakfast Restaurant closed at 4 pm
easy check-in, nice rooms terrible, over priced food... £20 for a sandwich! Also woken-up four times by the housekeeper in the morning.
Central to Liverpool Street Station and central to London
The hotel was very modern and current which I liked and the staff were superb - very polite and couldn't do enought for me. Check in procedure - seemed a bit unorganised with the laptops and no real check in desk. The computers also kept breaking so staff had to go to a seperate room to activate room keys etc. Would prefer a traditional check in desk system.
Geografic Situation near Train Station. Loudness of air condition
The staff was eager to help us any way they could. They even obtained tickets to a football game for us after we heard it was sold out. The rooms were spotless, the towels were luxuriously thick, and the bed was extremely comfortable. We WILL be back! I wish we could have had a regular top sheet and light blanket on our bed instead of a down quilt ( at the beginning of September!) -- just too hot for that time of year.
Centrally located, luxury boutique hotel with excellent facilities. Housekeeping was fantastic. The rooms were spotless and always well stocked. Upgraded to a room which allowed us access to the Club Lounge. Lounge was a wonderful place to relax, unwind and grab a snack. Breakfast was delicious with plenty of choice. I would definitely stay at this hotel again.
Location; wonderful apartment; spacious; modern Noisy at night outside, thus found it difficult to sleep
conveniently located to all transport, spacious, clean and comfortable apartments with everything you need
just like being at home. Good quality room, clean, well decorated, more than what we expected
Too light in the room to the morning.
Location, facilities in the apartment They would not accept Scottish banknotes...
Location just perfect opposite of Liverpool street station Staff couldn't help with information about train connections
The location was excellent. The staff were very friendly helpful and accommodating. The apartment was a very generous size and had everything you could possibly need in it. We would definately stay there again. As our apt was on the 1st floor the music from the bar next door was loud on the Friday night, although it did stop at 2am. Also as we were a family with 2 adults and 2 childeren in their late teens( a girl and a boy) I found the fact that both bedrooms had double beds very inconvenient, and caused a bit of a problem with sleeping arrangements. I would suggest that it would bettter to have some 2 bedroom apts with 1 double and 1 twin room.
As this was a business trip the location was ideal as it was only 5 mins walk from where the course was being held that I was on. Also there were lots of amenities such as resturants on the doorstep. The bathroom in the room was very small. Also this aside the light for it was not very powerful and so the room was still very dark even in the daytime because there was no window. Also the shower was poor for the price of the hotel a bit of an out of date arrangement via the taps and not very powerful at all. I also was not impressed that when I arrived to check in that in the middle of serving me the phone rang and the receptionist answered it and then ignored me for 5 mins while he dealt with the call.
very comfortable, great location lift was slow
The hotel was ideally located, aside from that it was fantastic
Excellent service, reasonable pricing. Smaller room.
Location Quick registration process Access to public transport
Location was great. Right down the block from St Pauls, walk in one direction and there is the Tower Bridge, other way has the rest of the sights. Staff was incredible. We brought an infant, crib was set up and free. Forgot a power cord and they provided one. Room was a hotel room. Paid for the bigger room with kitchenette, not very exciting. Restaurant attached to hotel was great (dinner; did not have any other meals there). Very easy to get to from the airport (Gatwick). Link stop is across the street.
location, style of hotel, helpful staff, freely available chilled water, availablity of printing facilities and internet traffic and other street noise
Ideal location in Central London at a reasonable price.
Perfectly located for our venue. No Forex capabilities.
the hotel was very clean and comfortable and had all comforts needed. very enjoyable stay.
The excellent location (30 second from St. Paul's Cathedral and 2minutes from the tube station), the room and the kindness of the staff.
The staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and had everything we needed. The guest lounge was lovely.
The room was very expensive compared to other hotels that are better and the walls were that thin we were up all night listening to our neighbours.
The location was good -- only a few minutes walk to the tube and St. Paul's is great to look at. A good selection of take away food nearby and several medium-level restaurants, too. On the weekends, quite a few things are closed in the hotel neighborhood, bacause it is primarily a business district.
Great location opposite St Pauls Cathedral. Easy accesss to Gatwick with City Thameslink station 2 min walk Bells of St Paul's every 15 min but if you stay close, what can you expect.
the silence, no disturbance could be better information of where to eat breakfast. We ate in the restaurant, and only afterwards found out that we could have had it in the lounge.
Relatively cheap and accessible need more check out staff on in the morning.
Location not too far from center London with good restaurants and bars across the street. Bed not confortable and tv positionned at a weird location far from the bed.
The wifi was very good. Rooms were clean. Close to transport. The bathroom was old for this quality of hotel. Too expensive.
Liked the location and the free latte in the lobby. Room was okay. Small but we'll organised and big enough for two. Window was overlooked by an office so had to keep the curtains closed. Bathroom was tiny and the shower was grimy - could do with a refresh.
All over wonderful stay. Friendly, helpful staff. Especially liked the purified fresh water and bottles near the elevator. Very close to pubs restaurants and transit.
Very clean and comfortable
Good location, lovely staff.
proximity to business sector.. and the quietness at night.. no trouble sleeping also the service was available if required no
Friendly staff. It is a very quiet location during the weekend, most shops and restaurants are closed. So we would not recommend this hotel for a weekend break.
There was nothing best about it! I found it to be a very average hotel and it does not deserve its 4 star status! On the arrival details pack it says that you can have a dvd in your room for free. Just ask reception. I was charged £50.00 for this free service.
The staff were all lovely, the room was beautiful and facilities in the room were excellent. The heating could not be adjusted so we were cold. The information in the room stated a set price breakfast was available but when we went down it was only available from a menu so very much more expensive.
Very helpful staff, nice room with big bed and bathroom nice to have a shower and a bath. Dirty toilet which was a shame as the rest was very clean
very friendly staff, hotel so clean. the area it was situated was so quite no other services near hand but tube station was near by.
Very friendly staff. Beautiful rooms. Small and personal, without compromises in confort and design. nothing
The room was finished to a high standard and very comfortable
Staff were very helpful in directing us and lending myself an umbrella for the evening - nice touch. Bed was extremely comfortable and windows were also soundproof as there was work going on in the street outside that we were barely aware of until leaving the room.
We really enjoyed it. We stayed Friday night. Very comfortable sleep. We'll use it again.
Recently opened, very clean, good bathroom with shower and bath. Good quality consumables and provisions. Staff very polite and helpful. Bar service and selection could be improved.
Excellent location for purpose of our stay. Very nice room and the bed was very comfortable. Poor breakfast service. Waited half an hour. Food not very hot. Our first breakfast on the Frdiay (26th) had to be returned because of a hair in the cooked food! Overall not a good breakfast experience at all.
Beautiful facility. Clean, modern and spacious room. Outstanding, friendly staff. Quiet and comfortabl bed. Both restaurants were fantastic--excellent food, really top notch. Nothing.
The room was very clean and spacious. The doormen were friendly and helpful. I had flowers delivered to me at the hotel and these were turned away at reception with the reason being that I wasn't staying at the hotel which was incorrect. I left my key and a note at reception for my son to collect and leave his luggage in my room, reception said that I had not done this and did not have a key for him. During my 12 nights there a card was sent to me which I never received.
I thought the hotel was beautiful. The design of the building was very impressive. I found the staff very helpful and informative. I had a very relaxed weekend away at Grange St Pauls and thought the location was perfect as it was just round the corner from the tube with only 2 stops to Oxford Circus. I think there should be swimming costumes available to buy at the spa.
the gorgeous spa the breakfast not being included
I found the staff to be very helpful and professional in every aspect.
We had a really comfortable room with a sofa and a view over the atrium The lifts were a real problem. There are only two and at peak times we had to wait a long time. No alternative stairs were signposted which might relieve the delays.
The new look, contemporary design and rooms are furnished immaculately and easily one of the best rooms I have stayed at in London. I recommend contacting Guest Relations (Simonetta in particular - who is simply one of the most professional and courteous people I have ever met)prior to arrival so they can ensure an enjoyable stay. They ensure all your needs are met prior to check in.
My room was probably the quietest I have ever had in a city hotel. The position of the hotel is good for access to the river, the St Pauls/Tower Bridge tourist interests and comfortable walking distance from the city. Although not my favourite architectural style, the steel, glass and marble style of this hotel is well implemented. My room was well equipped with electronic gadgetry from contactless door card to Ipod dock and flat screen TV with good range of channels. The brilliantly illuminated advertising display that extended the full height of the 6 floor attrium seemed an odd feature and required two layers of curtain the shield the light from my inner facing room window.
Everything about Grange St. Paul's contributes to a premium hospitality experience. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend or stay there again and again.
It's location, the size of the room and its design. Good staff too, concierge staff was very nice and useful. However, the bar staff was terrible, took forever to get any service and they did not take orders properly. Only negative of the hotel really.
Quality Suites, Good Food, Fitness Center, Location Minor Issue at reception with breakfast not being delivered because the breakfast card was not picked up from the door, which I did not mind.
The location of hotel was excellent, just a short walk from St Paul's Station. The facillities at the hotel paricularly the swimming pool/spa were fantastic, we just wished we could have stayed longer.
Great room, friendly staff, right by st pauls
The previous really positive guest reviews made me try this hotel and I wasn't disappointed. The location close to St Paul's is perfect, and the value for money you get at this hotel is OK for London standards. Big plus: Though the hotel is in the upper price category, they offer free WiFi. I expect this from hotels of any category nowadays, but it´s not standard (yet). The spa area closes already at 9pm, and you have to leave the building to enter the spa *brrr*. I know significantly cheaper venues that will switch on the sauna on guests' request 24/7. After an exhausting day at work that might last until 7-8pm, 9pm is just too early to close the spa.
We like the bath room and the free mini bar All of the underground station near the hotel were shut on the weekend beacuse of engineering work, so V. diffecult to treval
Very nice look to the place, right near tower bridge, nicely stocked mini bar that was free. There was no public at reception. We had our phones but needed a set pc/laptop for a transactions we needed completed. asked on the first night, and each time we left the hotel about the laptop they have in the hotel. However they only had one, and it was with the same person for the whole of our trip. this meant that on the 3rd day with no internet access apart from our phones we had to go looking for an internet cafe. in a 4* hotel, with such a good reputation you really dont expect to have to do that.
the hotel far exceeded our expectations, staff were extremeley pleasant friendly and helpfulll and would definately stay again
Pleasant hotel with nice room Apart from being mislead - The street was very noisy late a night with people in the street and early every morning with delivery and rubbish trucks.
We stayed in the Tower Suite. Reasonably sized, nice comfortable bed, excellent Nespresso coffee machine, good quality fixtures and fittings in the bathroom. No bath tub. Hard to work out how to change the temperature to make the room warmer. Only 2 Nespresso coffee pods were made available, one being a decaffinated one. Not enough milk sachets. Room was also a little noisy. Didn't bother me so much but made it difficult for my husband to get to sleep.
Excellent location close to the tube station The room was very hot even with the air conditioning on
Nice location. Not far from major attractions - minutes away from tower of London, and underground to Westminster doesn't take too long either - but far enough away from the tourist crowds when you want a quiet place to rest at night. The WiFi signals were weak in our room.
This hotel is excellently situated around the corner from the Tower of London and public transport. Rooms are spacious, well designed with great facilities including a free mini bar. Staff are friendly and welcoming. Would definately recommend!
Very efficient and friendly reception staff. Hotel was beautifully decorated, clean and comfortable. None
The room was very comfortable and clean. free mini bar water and soft drinks great idea. staff very helpful and knew about the local area.. I would stay here again. it is also in a quite area breakfast and meals were very good standard and a lovely bar down stairs. The restaurant is badly designed for winter as it has large sliding door that open out onto the street so as it was very wintry weather the restaurant was very cold.
Gorgeous room! The Blackfriars Underground station was steps away. The staff is incredible. Lee, the concierge, was so friendly and Francisco, the night manager, took such good care of us. The lead housekeeper was also a sweetheart!
It was well located, clean and had staff that were patient and accommodating. Had to organize the rooms because I had expected two beds in the room but got a room with 1 bed and a sofa bed. The manager was able to adjust the rooms even though the hotel was very full. The service was really great.

The rooms are really big, and our son had space to run around in even with the cot being there. Very good value if you get this through a secret deal. The AC was effective. It's family friendly, and right outside a tube station. My partner said she felt the towels could have been newer, and one of the soap gel tubes was only half full. The room could do with another light.
Hotel was very near a tube station Air conditioning did not work well and hence we had a couple of sleepless nights.
Excellent, friendly professional staff. I would defintely be happy to stay here again.
Good location. Convenient to tube wherever you want to go. Starbucks acrooss.Restaurants and fastfoods nearby. Good service. Hotel staff were excellent. Very polite, courteous and helpful. Bathtub is too high.

Location The wi-fi was terrible to the point you could hardly use it.
The hotel is close to St. Paul's, the new Tate gallery, and within walking distance of Covent Garden and the theatre district.
Everything: location, room, staff
There were bath robes in room The check in desk staff was rude
One of the few hotels that actually had a pool and sauna etc. The view, unlike the website pictures I got the view of a building and railway line. I then learned that I had booked a standard room and not executive.
Great location for financial district and public transportation! The staff was helpful, especially when I arrived early morning for meetings.
Pleasant room Our room didnt have a particularly nice view.. Outlook underground/tube train. Room was quite small compared to usual double rooms which we have stayed in.
The location within the city was excellent. great views of the Tower and Bridge. Staff were very helpful and polite. I did expect a little more from its 5 star rating. the beds were not turned down at night and some items I ordered as room service were not cleared away until we checked out
The hotel was in an ideal location for our recent trip to London.
The staff were pleasant and it was nice to have access to a pool Pool could have been open longer hours and spa services were prohibitively high in price
The rooms were perfect with a gorgeous view, and the staff couldn't have been nicer. Highly recommend
Lovely hotel, Top location especially for Tower of London etc....right next door Pool and sauna/spa/steam room outstanding Tube closed for engineering works happens regularly on the weekend nearest tube is Bank £6 in cab. Also the hotel blocked £150 on my card and then took the £100 room fee but still have not unblocked the £150 deposit. Poor
Clean hotel, good facilities, nice rooms, good shower, upgraded for free upon arrival. Check in felt a little like they were still trying to "sell" something to you despite you already having booked the hotel.
I asked for late checkout which was agreed and then a call to remind me one hour before. The call did not come and I was charged for an extra hour!
The location is steps away from Tower Bridge, Tower of London and the tube. The staff was friendly and professional. Property was clean. Service to the room was done well and timely. With London just outside the door, we did not eat at the hotel. Did have a drink and everything was fine. We were there for a four night stay so I thought we should have had a better view from the room but since we were out early and back late, I guess it did not matter as much with this stay. I would stay here again. Not much to dislike. It was a nice stay.
Excellent value for money. I requested some extras as a surprise for my fiance's birthday and everything was dealt with perfectly by customer services at the hotel. We were also offered an upgrade to an executive room for only £30 and had a fab view of the Tower of London. None
The staff are professional, warm and friendly. Location - wish it were closer to Victoria Train Station.
The hotel was quite impressive, and fairly close to public transportation. It was a great value for the price.
Loved it 💞
Beautiful ckean room, with a great big bathroom (sepárate deep tub and shower)
Very clean. Accessible. Not noisy. Bar has good food/drinks/dessert. Excellent breakfast!
The hotel is beautiful and the rooms are very well appointed. The hotel is upgrading the heating system. We were mistakenly placed in a room that could not be heated to a reasonable temperature. It took multiple telephone calls before the manager was contacted and we were moved to another room.
Exceptional staff, amenities and location. US plugs were a bonus.
We only stayed at the Threadneedles hotel for one night (Saturday night). We wished we would have stayed there during our entire stay in London. The May Fair Hotel (in the May Fair district) wasn't nearly as nice and/or personable. They really know how to threat a guest and exceeded our every expectation. Somewhat off the beaten path, but I'm now a firm believer that smaller boutique hotels are the way to go.
The staff were very helpful with everything we needed very nice hotel in a nice area. Close to the Tube.

Comfortable room, great location Matress was a little soft and springy. Starting to look a little worn inside the rooms themselves
Location was perfect, comfort of a five star boutique hotel, fast service, front desk very helpful Room service only till 11pm I believe and no restaurant on Sunday evening. Not uncommon for London on a Sunday night as most hotel restaurants weren't open either and most local restaurant to were also closed. There were a couple of good alternatives
