The large room.
Nice place but pricey. Beds were very comfortable. The staff at the front desk was very nice but they had to check on our room since we reserved a double bed. They took very long because they were waiting on the manager. I had to ask what was going on with our room.
The pool area was ok. There was Roaches! My husband had to kill three! I have never seen roaches till this!
Nice window view of the courtyard and pool. Bedding was very stiff and uncomfortable (felt almost like plastic), housekeeping staff tried to open the door three separate times between the hours of 7:00am and 9:00am, breakfast buffet was listed on website and mentioned at front desk but isn't actually included in room price. $13.99 for eggs that have been warming in a dish since 6am? No thank you! Room was much too expensive for what you get. Sorry, but we definitely will not be back.
Two small beds, one small room. Manager and staff were completely rude. Didn't get free breakfast, even tho it was in the booking. Do not stay here. Dirty room, no service at all.
Plenty of parking, staff was great. The lounge area was really nice as well as the courtyard. Pool was clean, rooms were clean, bathrooms were good. The overall decor is really nice. Nothing to do with the hotel, but though the location is convenient, getting there can be confusing since the turn to get in looks like it's a railroad track. The beds were big enough but I think they were two Full beds as opposed to the usual two Queen beds at other same level hotels.
Excellent-staff courtesy and friendliness. Access of the internet. Free breakfast. Extra table and white linen boost cleanliness and appearance. Alex was very helpful! Room could benefit from overall touch up. Baseboard and door in the bathroom cracking and made it look dirty.
Enjoyed my stay! Staff was friendly and helpful! Very close to downtown Fullerton! The room phones were not working so when I tried to call the front desk it would not work..I had to call the front desk from my cell phone. It's not a big deal since everything else was great
I usually stay in the back towers of hotel and I always enjoy my stay! Cleanliness, amenities, free parking, balcony, and friendly staff!! Brittany at front desk is awesome!!! The AC needs more power
I loved everything! My stay there was amazing! The only thing I didn't like is that I had the breakfast buffet for my stay every morning and the staff members who work in the RED resturant pressure you to leave them a tip and linger around, and even look inside of the check to see if you left anything in your face.
The hotel looked like the pictures shown, nice pool, free shuttles to Disneyland, 2 full size comfy beds, clean room We asked for smoke free rooms which we got but we where placed in a smoking section, it made the whole room stink like cigarettes, the shuttles last pick up is at 11 but Disneyland park closes at 12 which makes your stay there short since you have to leave a littl early to make sure you dont miss your shuttle! Location said it was 3 miles away but its actually about 6 miles.
Alex is awesome! He went above and beyond to make sure I was okay in the room. Very nice. I was happy to find that there was a small frig in the room. Also my breakfast was comped so that saved me 13 dollars a day. Everything was great. But I went down to the eat int eh restaurant and they didn't seem like they wanted to help. Also the menu was really strange. A lot of stuff with figs in it.
Staff was semi-friendly. Smells old, furniture is old. No flatscreen! Old tube TV. Got back from dinner and saw/killed a roach in the shower. We didn't stay after all. Too bad for us the booking was non-refundable.
Free breakfast buffet and free shuttle to Disneyland
It was clean. Quiet. Comfortable. Breakfast ends too early.
Staff was very friendly and responsive, great care and consistency went into room preparation. Overall, our stay was perfect! Location is perfect for Disney-goers and the shuttle service an added bonus.
It was convenient to the Angel Stadium and the front desk manager person was very helpful when we asked for a room that was not facing the freeway. Breakfast was great and coffee was fantastic. I would stay again as long as i get a room that is not facing the freeway. Original room faced the freeway and when we walked in we thought the window was open.It was loud and we were dreading how we were going to sleep.
The breakfast was really good, and service at the front desk was ok. We stayed for 4 nights. The first night, as we very first entered the room, we found dried blood on the sheets. Sheets were replaced promptly, but the housekeeper told us that he could tell the lady never cleaned our room, and that this wasn't the first time that had happened. Bathroom, walls, and carpets were dirty, with stains everywhere. Bugs were everywhere throughout our stay, and the last change of sheets we received also had dried blood on them. Also, the shuttle service to and from Disneyland is a joke. Horrible hotel, horrible experience, wish I could get my money back.
Complimentary breakfast was awsome, pool had warm water staff was friendly room was perfect love the way they use white sheets my kids liked it. front desk also gave A map of walking distance stores. I would totally recommend this hotel and we would totally stay here again.
Free breakfast buffet, WiFi, and shuttle to Disney World. Allowed us to check in early at no extra cost and request extra towels from online, ready once we had arrived. The free breakfast ends at 9 a.m.. Whose awake and ready to go by nine? Last shuttle to Disney World leaves at 10:30 a.m. then it does not continue to run until 5 p.m.
Was a good value for a quick over night. Quick check in, quick check out, decent beeakfast included. building seemed a little outdated. Staff thorough but not friendly.
AC did not work Then water was not running in the shower Dirty and smelly
Very Nice! Close to FWY, Very Clean, Breakfast was Excellent, Friendly staff, Bed was so comfortable I didn't want to wake up!! Parking!
It was very clean and modern. The staff were friendly and very helpful. The location wasn't so great, heard emergency sirens outside often during the middle of the night. Ice machine is not on every floor, sucks when you need to get ice and have to wait for the very slow elevator or walk to the end of the building and down the stairs.
The bed was comfy and the hot tub was a great experience, over all a great hotel
Acces to the sports venues Noise was a little much in the hallways
It was too expensive for a hotel with amenities. Everything was under construction. For the price I paid, I would expect a pool, bar,and fitness center. It had none.
Newly renovated lobby and restaurant. Beautiful landscaping. Friendly restaurant staff. Free and plentiful parking. Microwaves and refrigerators are not standard in rooms; requested them and finally got a fridge on my 3rd night after being told it had been delivered twice before. They did not go out of their way to accommodate us but did let us store baby's milk in the kitchen fridge. Rooms have not been renovated. Bathroom was in disrepair.
Rooms are not updated, very small and beds were not comfortable
Close to HIU and Cal State. I was able to walk to my meetings. Good suggestions for local activities, including the car service which got me too and from the airport. Nice restaurant in the lobby with a good breakfast. Rooms were comfortable
I enjoyed everything. I am a syarwood spg member and I wanted to experience a Marriott due to the pending merger. The lay out and over all presentation was nice and welcoming. The beds were extremely comfortable and room layout was nice with the chair and foot rest. Nice big bathrooms. Except for the bar area the deco was a bit dated dated.
The way the lobby looked was nice. My boyfriend and I came to the Hilton in Anaheim and stayed for two nights to celebrate his birthday. We have stayed at many hotels around this area because we like to go to Disneyland, and this was by far the WORST hotel I have stayed at, Mediocre looking room, lazy house keepers and horrible service. Also had to keep the a/c running at 65 degrees because if we didn't, our "non-smoking" room will begin to smell like cigarettes. Maybe it was the room next to us that smoked cigs in their room but it was very strong in ours. Upon entering the room, the tv wasn't working, had to call the front desk to send someone up to fix it, said he'd be there in 10-15 min...he shows up almost two hours later. It would've been nice to know he'd be there in 2 hours NOT 15 min. The next morning we leave our room go to breakfast at 7 am expecting that our room will be stocked with new towels and have our bed made...we come back at 4 pm and our room has NOT been replenished no one has came in to clean anything! I call the front desk and he tells me house keeping will be there in 10-15min. 20 min later nothing...I call back and tell them that I just need some towels and finally after waiting 45 min and calling twice I got my 2 towels. The showers were terrible. For starters the shower curtain kept wanting to stick to my legs and I had to place the curtain outside of the tub to prevent that, causing water to spill on the floor but at that point I was already annoyed by this curtain! Then the water took forever to warm up, and it was either SCORCHING HOT or ICE COLD for water temperature. Overall my stay was just very very disappointing. I was expecting more from a Hilton and my boyfriend wasn't happy with it either. I have never been so pissed off to the point where I'd want to write a review like this but this place is really NOT worth the amount of money you'd have to spend. (Btw they try to charge you $5 for a ride to the park when you could just walk right across the street to the Disney shuttles for free lol). I feel that I must emphasize that this place doesn't care about its guests, they just want your money. I'll come back to Anaheim and its other wonderful hotels, but I definitely won't be staying here.
The only pros to this location are the location and the beds. I have never received such poor customer service at a 4 star hotel. My husband and I called around noon day of our reservation to confirm that we wouldn't lose our room and were reserved for a king size bed, we provided our confirmation # and were reassured that our 7pm estimated arrival wouldn't affect anything. Turns out that was a miscommunication. After being placed in a double room directly across from the elevators, we returned to the front desk to rectify the situation. The employee whom helped us was completely lacking in compassion, barely looked at us, and treated us as if our requests were a bother to her. After being told they were fully booked, we then asked that we at least be placed in a quieter area. The 2nd room was directly across from the ice machine and had a rattling AC vent. We then returned down to the front desk, because if you try to call your phone call goes unanswered, and asked to speak to a manager in order to explain our frustrations. He also was not accommodating and treated us unkindly, in fact he harshly told us that that is "what we get" for booking through a third party site. Finally after his departure, the poor employee whom received us that 3rd time, expressed her surprise that he didn't help us and chose to rectify the situation herself placing us in another king size bed room at the end of a hallway. (She had noticed the amount of times we had returned to the front desk). There is no excuse for the miscommunication and levels of customer service we received from this establishment.
Main lobby is nice, toiletries were great quality Front desk staff member was short and rude. Outdated rooms that need a lot of touching up.
AC didn't work in first room. Bathroom size too small vs rest of the room (we had a suite).
Facilities & ambiance were excellent. Staff was friendly. The pool was overcrowded, so an extra pool would be nice.
the place was clean and very well taken care of. good location. nice rooms, except for (see what i didn't like) i was woken up at 9:00a.m. by some sort of knocking maybe caused by expanding joints or metal or possibly construction occuring in an adjacent rooom. i was in the quient wing so the knocking made it more irritating. it went on from 9:00a.m. for at least two hours. i had arrived early that morning like 1:00a.m. and hope to sleep to about 11:00a.m. but with the knocking that wasn't happening. i had to get up and get ready and leave to avoid the annoyance all together. there are many factors/expectation one has when staying at a hotel. with this particular stay i was hoping for a long and good night's sleep. the hotel failed in that respect. that was the most important aspect of that stay given my arrival time and need of a solid rest before a long drive home. disappointing!
The front desk staff went above and beyond. I was very impressed with the high level of customer service they uphold. Our room was spotless, the bed was comfortable and we had a great view of Disneyland. Could not hear any sound through the walls, the room was quiet. Check in was quick and easy. Elevators from the parking garage take you directly into the hotel right by the front desk and room elevators.
The room was standard but quite clean. It was evident that the room I was staying in had been recently updated, which was nice. This may seem like a small thing but the towels were amazing! Housecleaning staff was great. The concierge was awesome. I was staying at the Marriott across the street for a few days and had to extend my stay so I moved over to the Hilton. The check in took forever. There were 12 people in line when I got there and 1 person working registration. When I left Marriott there were 6 people checking in customers. A manager walked up to check in a pilot, looked at the line of others waiting to be checked in and just walked away when she was finished. When it was my turn to check in my room wasn't ready and the woman checking me in was incredibly rude, for no reason. I left to get something to eat and when I returned a few hours later to get my room keys the next woman at the check in desk rudely told me I was already checked in and reprimanded me for not getting my keys the first time. Quite unpleasant and have no idea why. In contrast, everyone at Marriott was incredibly nice and helpful.
Express checkout was available, but you had to fill out a card with your room number and email, so they could send you the final bill. I have yet to receive mine. I left a message and they haven't followed up. Trip ended 11 days ago. I was overcharged for car parking. They should have charged me for only one day, but was charged for four days. Car pooled with friends, they stayed over one day and got their own room the following day.
Very helpful and friendly staff, specially Mike from security or lost and found. He went above and beyond to help me. so He deserves a very nice paycheck rise. THANK YOU.
I've stayed at this Hilton before and everything was fine but this time was a disaster. When my boyfriend and I arrived we went to our room to find out we were given a wheel chair accessible room because there was a large convention going on in the hotel and when I called the first time to switch rooms I was met with no solution and no option of switching to a standard king room and was told that I had specifically requested this type of room. So I then went into my emails to check if perhaps I had made a mistake while booking and it was obvious to me that this was there mistake. I then called the front desk again and they then gave me the option of switching to a room with two queen bed which we ended up doing. When we arrived in our next room, with the two queen beds, we turn the lights on in the bathroom there is a HUGE bug on the floor looking like a mix between a cockroach and a grasshopper. I then called the front desk again to tell them what was going on and they said it was normal and they could send someone up to kill the bug...!!!!!! Like what??? So unprofessional. I asked to switch rooms and they said they had nothing available do to a large convention so there we were left in this room which had more than one bug inside. So discusting. On the second night of our four night stay I called again and spoke with a very nice women at the front desk and was able to switch to a standard king room. Overall the staff is so unprofessional, the rooms have bugs and I honestly will never stay here again souly based on the lack of customer service.
Clean very well maintained lobby/bar/restaurant. Staff was friendly and helpful. Bedding was clean and cozy. Location was good. Shower was horrible. The water was either hot hot or cold cold. U could not get warm water no matter what time of day (morning, late morning or late at night). The ceiling in the shower had peeling paint and drywall (leaving a hole in the ceiling) Room was in need of some updating. Restaurant was way over priced. $16 a day for parking
The restaurant was very good and very inexpensive. The bed was comfortable and the large, flat screen TV was quite nice. The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. I believe that my only complaint would be that the (complimentary!) wireless internet signal was a bit spotty. There were a number of times that I was either unable to get a signal or it was so slow that it was unusable.
A Very Pleasant Stay . A Good Restaurant . Very Pleasant and helpful Staff.
The location was idea and the staff could not be more helpful. A great place to stay and I would highly recommend.
We celebrated our 40th wedding in July of 2005 with 38 of our family & friends from around the country--our annv date is 8/15/65 but because of conflicts we had it in July--this is our 45th and we celebrate in Oct because of a wedding in Laguana Beach where we stayed in a sister hotel. The traffic is noise is constant
Loved: The pool/hot tub (open 24 hrs), the restaurant K'ya is delicious, the lobby is very nice, the hotel staff were pleasant, there are 2 shuttles that go to Disneyland, our beds were very comfy, overall I feel it was a good value. Hated: The size of the bathroom, they charge $10/day for parking, it's a little too far to walk to the Disneyland entrance, the room was not decorated and looked like it needed to be remodeled (in their defense I think they are in the middle of remodeling but hadn't gotten to the 5th floor yet).
I thought the lobby and the hotel restaurant were fabulous! The restaurant had a wide variety of food all $10 and under. The quality of the food was amazing, aned room service was very affordable. This along with the price of the room made the whole trip a treat! The pool looks very inviting though we didn't have time to enjoy. Our room's air conditioner was a little old and loud, but it did nto disturb us enough to complain.
Location is walking distance to Disneyland. Advertised 24 hour pool was closed without notice on website during our stay. Because this was the main reason I stayed here over other nearby places, I requested a voucher for breakfast, which I was given and appreciated. I was then scolded by staff for taking the wrong, hot breakfast and told that i was only entitled to bread and fruit.
Rate was reasonable, terrific pool, bar and free computer facilities. Walking distance to disney land.
Nothing The moment we walked in the front desk lady started telling us about a mouse infestation and laughs as if it's funny. The room itself was pretty gross. I never saw any mice either, but it is never a good feeling to be told about an infestation as your checking in.
nothing What a Dump, the parking was horrible, not enough spaces to park for the amount of rooms. I get in my room and one of the first things i do as always was flush the toilet, nothing in it mind you and i walk away to unpack and i hear the toilet over flowing, i shut the water valve off go down stairs and tell the front desk, yeah damn foreigners don't care takes him 15 mins to come up he brings towels and a plunger, throws the towels on the floor no mopping up just push the towels around, and says to me leave them til the room is clean tomorrow, i tell him to take them out now. the ceiling in the shower all the paint is hanging off peeling away, i could go on but no point.
Great customer service, helped us on the phone when we needed assistance after hours. Older, tight parking spots, no blow dryer
Staff was helpful in getting a different room when first room wasn't ready yet Hotel is old and a bit run down.
So close to Disneyland. The walk there was close but walking back was even faster! The room and bathroom were a good size with a small fridge and microwave. It was pretty dirty in the bathroom. There was mold everywhere. My towel was clean but my husband's towel was dirty. The place would be better if it got a good scrubbing.
Close to Disneyland, with a safe and short walk to shuttle pick up. Free parking and Wi-Fi were nice touches. The room seemed to be dirty, and the staff wasn't very caring. Lobby sign said it opened at 7am, but no one was there to open it until well after 7:30. There was 1 towel in the room and it was like pulling teeth to get any more.
If they put a bit of money into the place they could be 4-5 stars. Left over q tips on floor it was just fair inside rooms but no problems. They also ALLOW people to park along the curb so you cant get out if you actually park in the spaces under building. We waited for 40 minutes to get car out to leave on Weds...
The hotel was literally a 5 minute walk from the trams to the Disneyland Resort. The staff was great. It was totally worth the price. We went for the Disney avenger half and all of us were without a vehicle, so this hotel was in the perfect location for just that! Lacked a do not disturb sign, so room service came and went whenever. Nothing was stolen or missing so we were ok with it.
Beds were clean and TV worked 1 room phone did not work and did not have a shower head and instead of just putting one in they moved us. second room must have been in process of being remodeled due to torn walls where baseboards were. looks like mold on bathroom ceiling and stains on furniture and floor. holes in some walls. Would never stay there again. Days Inn is not even a block away, stay there instead.
The hotel was perfect... check in was fast... the beds and pillows were amazingly comfortable.. the rooms were very clean... my husband and I stayed behind while my mother and daughter went back to Disneyland and the shuttle took them and picked them up right at midnight... I am very satisfied with our stay... the hotel is only a block north of the park at a super close and great location!
Close to disneyland Room smells
The staff was super friendly and helpful. The description and details about the facility were inaccurate. The room was run down and in need of renovation. I would never stay here again.
Loved it! Very clean, staff friendly and close to Disneyland!!
I like the rooms they were spacious and nice. Though the furniture was a little run down beds were very comfortable. I had to pay for parking 14$ a day!
They had excellent staff and building was very clean inside The price of the restaurant inside was too pricey for a family
The carpet in the garden tower is filthy.
The rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. It amazing to have a free shuttle to take you and pick you up from Disneyland and is only a couple minutes away! That breakfast was included in our stay and was kind of pricey for a family of 4.
At no point during my reservation process was there any indication parking was an additional fee. I looked on the hotel's website, my confirmation, etc. and did not find anything indicating I would be charged a parking fee in addition to my room rate. Room was extremely outdated. Bathroom was the size of a small closet. Room felt muggy regardless of the temperature. Room refrigerator did not work well. During check-in, front desk staff was extremely kind and friendly. Can't say the same during check out. The man at the desk seemed inconvenienced he had to help us. Restraunt staff told us they could not accommodate the size of our large extended family as one group for dinner (there were about 10 of us) because they didn't have room in their EMPTY restaurant, but could accommodate by seating us at separate tables. Our initial waiter was rude and wouldn't wait for all of our group to be ready before he started taking orders, so half of our group got their food and was done eating before the other half got their food. Breakfast trips to the restaurant were fine as breakfast is offered buffet style. Overall, if I ended up at this hotel again, it wouldn't be the end of the world. However, I honestly wouldn't go out of my way to stay at this hotel again. I feel there are better values for less money in some of the surrounding area hotels.
The shuttle to disneyland was convenient although I was disappointed to be charged extra for parking in the hotel lot. Toilet overflowed in the middle of the night on our first night there. Water was running out into the hall. The staff was helpful about getting us a new room, but they did not offer any additional compensation for the inconvenience.
I liked the free shuttle. That was great. Bathroom was small, cracked sink, it took forever to get hot water in shower. Called ahead for early check in. Rooms were not ready until after 5 which is well after suggested check in time. I'm still mad about that.
The hotel had Princess Corrine come in to tell stories and do face paint for kids. It was nice for our kids to interact with her after a long day at Disneyland. The free shuttle is nice and accommodating, but make sure you get in line 10 minutes before the shuttle arrives to guarantee a spot on the shuttle. The hotel is a bit worn down and outdated. The customer service is average at best. The staff does not go out of their way to make your stay any better, but if you need something, they will try to put on a smile and at least acknowledge your request. The rooms are a little on the small side and feel dingy. Our headboards were worn out and flaking, the ac only has one setting (on or off), and the bed springs squeak a lot from years of use. Parking is $14/night and the breakfast does not offer complimentary breakfast with your stay. Next time, we will pay a little more to stay at a different hotel closer to Disneyland.
Staff was friendly Room too small /outdated hotel/i was staying on 5th fl and the elevator was broken /no complimentary breakfast
Everyone was really nice, they let me check in late so I could enjoy Disneyland with my family first. Didn't realize but they have shuttle to Disneyland for free. No complaints
The location is ideal for travelers going to Disneyland if you do not mind a short walk. Our room was not cleaned on either day. The first day we went back to the hotel at 11:30 so I can see why it was not made up yet. The second day, we did not arrive back until 1:50 and the room was still not cleaned.
We arrived and checked into our room and as soon as we walked in there was a foul odor in our room. I called the front desk and the sent someone to come and spray sanitizing spray which helped a little but still did not remove the smell of mildew . Figured out it was the blankets that smelled as if they were not washed and dried properly. Next day we left and were gone all day. When returning the smell was overwhelming when we walked back into our room. We went to the front desk and we're given another room. The new room was much better but blankets still had the same slight odor ...not as bad as the other room . All we were compensated was one nights parking.
Staff friendly and helpful The bed were comfortable
Walking distance from downtown Disney. Staff was very friendly. Recommendation for Shuttle use to/from airport pick up was superb. Restaurant was excellent.
U had to pay extra for parking
Realy close to the parks, great bed Could have a refrigerator in the room. Paid parking, $10 per night.
Location was great, Staff was nice, and room suite does bring a smile with all the Disney themes! We had 2 bedroom suite, 1 bed smelled fresh but the second kinda smelled a bit and had 2 long hairs under the sheets! I didn't call them or anything cause we only needed one bed. I would book here again!
Walking distance from downtown Disney. Staff was very friendly. Shuttle pick up was superb. First one on AND first one off. Close to food mart. Restaurant was excellent. Room needed a refrigerator.
Loved everything about this hotel! The breakfast buffet is great and affordable. Very comfortable!
Amazing staff. Couldn't be nicer and more accommodating. Located right next to Disney Land. 10 minute walk to front gates. All the rooms have just been remodeled when I was there. Pillows were to thin for my taste.
The hotel was very clean and the staff was kind and helpful , a little far from Disneyland after a long day of walking otherwise a very nice stay
The rooms are large, the price was cheap, the proximity to Disney was great, and the shuttle that arrives every 20 minutes for Disney was even greater. The best part of this hotel was the staff - they told us about the shuttle and even let us keep our car parked in their lot the day we checked out so we didn't have to pay for Disney parking. Great view for the fireworks too! Totally worth it. All furniture is mediocre, bed is nothing special, pillows and sheets are cheap. Our hair dryer was broken, and one of our lights wouldn't work. Pool area is tiny. Breakfast is skippable.
I loves the remodle and appreciated the wood flooring instead of dirty carpet :). The bathroom was also nicely done. Everything was great aside from the beds. They were some of the firmest mattresses I have ever slept on which was a bit uncomfortable.
They remodeled all the rooms and they look amazing! Really nice place to stay and the manager was great. Really great for the price! Beds were a little stiff, not bad though. We could also hear the people next to us being very loud.
Loved that it was located about 10-15 minute walk from Disneyland entrance. Lots of restaurants close. Starbucks is right next door. The Disneyland fireworks show is 100% viewable from the hotel. No need to stay at the park late to see it. I usually stay in higher priced hotels, so this was a 'stretch ' for me to book this place. I was skeptic. However, I was pleased with the room. It's not fancy and it's an old hotel, but they've done an adequate remodel job to make it comfortable and appealing to the eye. Again....it's not fancy & it's old, but we were there for Disney and hardly spent any time in the room. If we had planned on being in the room more, I would have looked for a higher priced hotel with more amenities. This is a good value for the location and the age of the hotel. The staff were amazingly friendly and nice. I wish they had and iron and ironing board in the room. However, they did have a frig, microwave, hairdryer, and coffee maker. The towels are extremely cheap quality and feel a little like sand paper. Lol.
The staff was very friendly.
The staff was very helpful. They were available whenever we had questions. We were able to purchase the ART shuttle passes at the front desk. The shuttle picks up right in front of the property. They offer free wi-fi and free parking (depending on availability). The bed was huge - big enough for 2 adults and a small child. The bathroom was spotless. The refrigerator was a great bonus. Tons of channel options on the TV. Perfect for our trip to Disney and for the price, we were highly satisfied. The smell in the lobby was very strong. They should really deodorize it.
Great location and close to Disney. Very friendly staff. Very clean. Beds were very hard and noisy. Every move woke me up due to noise.
10-15 min walk to disneyland Ridiculous parking rates, online room rates given by expedia not honored at hotel, incompetent staff, black hair all over bathroom, room smelled like cats, covered walkway balcony's to rooms shook like they were going to fall.
Very clean and closer to disneyland than we have been before Being on the upper floor
I've been here 3-5 years ago . They just recently remodeled and updated they're rooms and faculty. Courteous staff and friendly. If your with a family or looking for an inexpensive budget motel that's slightly better than motel 6 it's the best for your value and definitely close to Disneyland just 0.2 miles away it's 10mins walk. My only complaint is that the rooms are small and when I walked in my room it had a musky old smell. My guess is that it's the AC or the carpet has been previously wet and was not properly dried. Other than that for the location and price it's not that bad. Also it's $10 parking per car use to be free. +Bad musky moldy smell upon walking inside my room +old carpet +parking not free $10 which not too bad b c everyone charges 15-20$
There were homeless people eating breakfast in the breakfast room, made us a little uncomfortable
Very comfortable. Room was well equipped. Plenty of towels, pillows, etc. Don't miss the free breakfast! Great place especially for last minute reservations. Only thing we didn't like was the construction area but when it's finished it will probably be a great addition to the hotel.
No elevators they put my one year daughter and I on The second floor and I had to use a stroller to walk back-and-forth to Disneyland. How was I supposed to get the stroller to the second floor? I asked them to put me on the first floorand the gentleman told me it was too late to get a room on the first floor
Everything was good
Good breakfast. Walking distance to Disneyland main gate. Price was fair considering I didn't have to pay to park at Disneyland and was able to save money at breakfast by not having to take the kids out to eat. Room was a little on the small side. Did NOT appreciate the hidden "resort fee" of ~$12 that the clerk could not explain to me what it was for!!
hot breakfast included cleanliness of pool had to pay more local taxes at check-in right next to freeway construction on building next door
I liked the location of our room - away from the freeway and pool. It was nice and quiet. I also thought the room was nice and I loved that a microwave, fridge, and safe were included. The front desk staff were very friendly and kindly accommodated my request for a box and packing tape when my daughter and I ran out of luggage space. This is pretty minor, but it was challenging to get extra towels. I wrote a note one day, and left a tip and got two more towels, but the next day there were no extra towels. I requested a couple more at the front desk and they said they would let housekeeping know, but 45 minutes passed and my daughter and I were so tired we couldn't wait any longer so we went to bed. It wasn't the end of the world, but I wish the front desk had had some extra towels they could have given me (since I came in person) since the front desk staff were so helpful for other requests.
The workers were using power tools outside our room at 8 AM
Small pool, but very nice. Very clean facilities. 10 minute walk to Disney. Inefficiency of front desk. No shuttle transport to Disney. Thin pillows. Surrounding construction.
location is the Only redeeming quality of this motel... In every other way possible it really falls short. The room is very small... The AC conditioner isnt capable of keeping the room cool even when its on high... Its an old run down property that hasnt been kept up or maintained in years.... Right next door is another business that has been burned down.... No view of anything except the very small parking lot.... They dont have enough parking stalls to support the number of guests or rooms they have. People end up parking double decker or in the middle of the driveway because there isnt anywhere to park.... The "free breakfast" is a muffin and a glass of juice (the worse free breakfast ive ever had).... Our room had a pink toilet.... TV service is bare bones and my kids had a very hard time finding anything to watch.... And finally i felt like i needed to take a shower when we finally left the Days Inn. Its just a trash dump.
Location Very old building broken tiles
I have stayed here many times with my family because the value cant be beaten. The proximity to disneyland the ease of travel to the park, and the comfort of the bed when we go to sleep. It is more than what you pay for, it is what you hope to get from a value price hotel. Yes, the place does look a little cheap, and rooms alao look old. But, for the price, and the location i still feel it is an incredible value, and look forward to our next trip.
Great location, great price. The Disneyland fireworks actually shook the building. I'm not sure what color the toilet was supposed to be but the slight pink tone gave it character.
This hotel is located in close proximity to Disneyland Park and Downtown Disney. We were able to view the Disneyland fireworks right from our room. The hotel was located on the corner of a very busy street and you can hear the traffic all night long. The hotel room was old and dingy. The bathroom had mold on the walls and ceiling from moisture. The wall paper was coming away from the wall. There was food from a previous patron left in one of the dresser drawers. The table and chairs in the room where discolored and stained. The room was value priced for a reason. The complimentary breakfast was also unsatisfiying. I would not recommend this stay with children.
This is my second stay here in two months. The first time I had a couple concerns about coming back. But, those issues were fixed now. For the price this location can't be beaten. I had reservations at another hotel here but, I will be changing them tostay here instead. I found nothing to complain about. At this price point you don't expect 5 star accommodations. What you get is beyond the normal for this price. If I had to nit pick something, I would say that the bathroom door locks accidentally when the door is closed. Which is a problem if there is no one in there.
Bed was clean and acceptable. VERY dark and dingy. Old and rundown. Poorly patched walls. Disgusting light switches. Poor shower head. Waffles were rubbery and tasteless.
The location was amazing, we were at the Disneyland parking structure in less than one min, no exaggeration. The room was clean and spacious considering we travel with a three year old and his big stroller. The beds were comfortable, which I didn't expect with this price point. I would actually stay here again. I rated this location only two stars because the two problems that I had I feel were major ones. First when I checked in, with the manager of all people. I had to call him over since he was in a back room playing on a computer, I know this because I could see him. Not a big deal just a tiny annoyance. The problem was that I had introduced myself and told him I had a reservation, he checked the computer at the desk, gave me my key, and that was it. I am a little disturbed by the fact that he didn't ask for my id or to check my credit card. I thought that was the first rule. Then my biggest problem was the shower. The pressure was fine, but the floor of the shower was extremely slippery. Every time I took a shower I felt like I was going to fall, which is very scary thought. I would recommend this location as long as you are aware of these short comings. I would also stay here again, as long as I make sure to check my credit card statement, and bring my own shower mat.
There was a microwave. It's good thing. There were many ants.
Close to Disneyland, housekeeping kept the room nice and clean. Location, very shady place, small parking lot, poor breakfast spread, staff could be a little more friendy
The belgian waffle at the continental breakfast is amazing. The shuttle to disneyland has a very limited schedule, so limited i will never stay here again, no matter what the price of the rooms are. No elevator, staff at breakfast is a little rude.
You get what you pay for. It's a great place for going to Disneyland or the surrounding areas when you're on a budget. I found it to be very clean. And the staff is super friendly. What I do have to say is that a lot of things need to be fixed or replaced. The management and the people in the front office are horrible! They treat the other employees like slaves. The front office staff doesn't do a single thing to help nor do they communicate with the guests nor the staff. very understaffed.
The location is good if you are going to Disneyland. The place was filthy. There were cockroaches in the bathroom and by the beds. Paint peeling and everything was broken. Not even the faucets in the bathroom worked property. Most of the staff seemed to be angry.
Staff- free shuttle to Disneyland- location Shuttles seatbelts don't work - shuttle driver was late - paint peeling - shower heads suck - carpet dirty - bed felt itchy -
Walking distance to Disneyland and the free wifi are the only positive things I can say. We stayed there for three nights and the hot water availability was spotty, and never in the morning. When I called the front desk, the clerk gave me no reason and just affirmed that there was no hot water that day. Really?
Everything was bad, the pool was out of service, no one ever told us you can only bring one car, any other car was to be towed. The rooms smelled and the constant drilling and jackhammering in the morning does not allow you to sleep. The manager was not accessible to help alleviate anything or our concerns. NERVER coming back to this place, it was junk!!!
The breakfast was good and it was close enough to Disneyland to walk when we missed the shuttle. The shuttle only ran once an hour so we only used it twice and just walked most of the time. The heated pool was nice but we got out and realized there were no pool towels. The rooms are not sound proof at all so we were woken up several times by the other guests. The room also was missing a remote for the tv.
The staff was very friendly and understanding when I contacted them to advise that we would be arriving close to 10pm. There was plenty of parking and the room was very clean with all of the standard amenities. The continental breakfast was pretty basic - coffee, juices, milk, cereal, yogurt, toast, waffles, and condiments - but it served its purpose. I would definitely book again. They even offered their parking lot and shuttle to Disneyland use for the day we checked out. The bed was slightly uncomfortable (read: not as soft and fluffy as I prefer).
Everyone was nice. Very clean, nice room. Close to Disney.
My girlfriend slipped and fell and hurt her knee on a puddle from the roof that the staff knew about and did not fix. The staff are clueless and the rooms below par. Shuttles to Disneyland are a joke. Do not stay here! Every aspect.
I like the location, it's so close to surrounding areas. Easy access to get to right off the freeway. Right down the street from Disneyland. I didn't like the set up of the room. Felt the couch could have been in an area facing the couch for comfort. The bathroom was different, but I didn't know that accessible bathrooms were open like that. Took a little getting use to.
The staff was very accommodating, great view of the Disneyland Fireworks and a close walk to the tram to Disney. Nice pool. We enjoyed the make your own waffles at continental breakfast. There were sticky spots on the floor of our room, so we had to keep our shoes on to walk around. The draw of the bedside table would not stay shut. The water pressure was poor.
Convenient and near to Disneyland, The towel look yellowish and not clean, and the room not clean (means we can feel someone touching and talking us during our sleep) very scary.....but we just ignore them by continues praying:)
Walking distance to Disneyland is fair. Pool is very clean. Microwave and fridge are a plus. Staff is not friendly. Room was not cleaned one day.
The room was fairly clean and it was comfortable for the two nights that we stayed. It is convenient and very close to Disneyland.
This motel exceeded my expectations as to the friendly and helpful service from the front desk staff, the cleanliness of the room and the unexpected bonus of a free breakfast and a clean pool.
Good value for money, and complimentary breakfast daily is a great start to the day. Microwave in the room if you have little ones. Free WiFi is good but cut out after 11pm. The condition of the room is fair, the beds are comfortable. Just be aware the walk to Disneyland is around 25 minutes. In the morning it's fine, coming home when tired can be a long walk. The hotels in the area should organize a shuttle bus for a small fee. Hotel staff could be more friendly, just not very welcoming or asking how your day was, not interested.
I liked everything about this hotel from now on this will be my only hotel to stay at for my family vacations !!!
I had to switch rooms three times. Even though they tried their best to put me in a room that was fully functional it never happened. I gave up after three tries, then left early. The air conditioners were loud or didn't work. the TV reception was fuzzy, the continental breakfast was very limited. Good for short stays maybe
It was the only hotel I could find that didn't charge extra for children if they used the existing bedding. I have 5 kids and every single motel/hotel wants me to buy two rooms for 5 kids. This room fit two adults and comfortable had room for at least four kids and they didn't charge extra or force me to have two rooms! That's the best! It was older, not very updated but it was a clean.
The staff was really friendly and attentive. The rooms were clean and well stocked. Breakfast was also good. We paid a lot of extra money for parking fees for 2 days and had to pay an extra $5 a person for a shuttle pass to Disneyland so we just took my car and paid $17 at the disneyland parking instead of paying $30 for a pass to take us from the hotel to disneyland (we had 6 people with us). When we came back all the parking was full and the only spaces that were available were taken up by stupid people that don't know how to park. The spaces are narrow and the driveway is narrow. Not fun spending 30 minutes (after being exhausted from Disneyland) to finally squeeze into a parking only to find your car scratched the next day.
The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. I was able to check in early when they had my room ready! The room itself was better than I expected. Room had a flat screen tv, awesome A/C unit, fridge, microwave and decent amount of channels.very good continental breakfast Parking is very tight, not a fan of down pillows, but they felt nice initially. Continental breakfast was dismantled early while I was still trying to acquire breakfast
I enjoyed that the staff was very informative on the location and could answer any questions we had. as well as the size of our whirlpool tub being big enough to relax in. the fact that they had construction going on (8:30 am- 5:30)and that parking was very limited due to the trucks taking up space in the lot.
Very kind and patient front desk gentleman named Dereck. the housekkeeping maids refused to clean our room after 3pm claiming that she already clocked out for the day and I had to ask front desk for service.
Price, free wifi, breakfast.fu Filthy floors. My kids walked barefoot and they were left black!!!! Disgusting!
It was close to Disneyland Hard to get to get into the hotel
It wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be. My room was very clean. My cousin stayed on the bottom floor and she saw a cacarouch
Great location close to Disney parks with an amazing view of the fireworks from Disneyland. Our room was super dirty.. The sheets on the bed had blood stains on them, which I didn't discover until the next morning.. The carpet was so filthy that it made the bottom of my husbands feet black. We had gnats coming out of our sink, also the tv made a high pitched buzzing sound whenever it was on.
Honestly I had low expectations and was prepared for the worse. I was wrong and was very pleased. Beds were surprisingly comfy and the rooms were better than expected. I was very pleased with the staff who allowed us to park our car here early morning so we can walk over to Disneyland. Sadly there was no rooms available for early check in (we arrived around 7am) but that's understandable since check out for others isn't till 11am. I definitely would come back here for the price and location! Shower pressure was a bit weak but worked well enough to get myself cleaned.
Location was a 10 minute walk from downtown Disney Room was big Large vanity Breakfast included Good wifi fridge and microwave in room hot tub laundry Beds were too firm- gave me a bad back ache paper-thin blankets (but got more upon request) toilet was clogged when we arrived exposed wires behind air grate IN the shower. No protein in the breakfast.
The distance to Disney land. Elevator was not working at the time of our stay. The staff did not mention it to us when I checked in.
clean room, spacious, and little fridge. great honestly, better than I expected. And 20 minute walk to disney parks!! clean room, clean bathroom! Free parking! breakfast could be updates. only bread and donuts and cereal and juice. not a very healthy breakfast
Staff was not friendly
Very clean, great price, friendly staff, and terrific view of Disney fireworks every evening. Very basic, no frills. Scratchy towels and limited breakfast (frozen waffles, cereal and donuts), but the price was great!
We chose to stay here because it's a disneyland good neighbor hotel however it is not to those standards! The first room we were in the TV didn't work and the room was old and musty the second room the same musty room and the door didn't lock we felt uneasy being on the first floor and a non locking door. Dark rooms with grungy floors won't stay here again!
Close to disneyland Rooms are old and run down.
Not the location we wanted. My husband pulled up and then pulled out of the parking lot to find a more secure hotel. Not the most ideal hotel if you want to walk to and from Disneyland. We didn't feel it was safe to walk to that hotel location late at night.
The hotel does not look much from the exterior. However, the interior of the room smells clean, looks very nice and updated. Our room had a microwave and fridge. The beds were comfy. It was quiet -- we did not hear street noise/freeway noise and there were not a lot of foot traffic outside our room (and they were all booked). No daily parking fee and free wi-fi in the room. Getting in and out of the hotel was a breeze - no traffic at all. Staff were professional and friendly. My husband and I also like the fact that the hotel has less than 100 rooms which makes it easier to find parking. Was hoping to have a full length mirror in the room :(
Price was very reasonable for the area. Free parking and decent breakfast included in the price. AC worked. Staff allowed us to leave our luggage in the back room after we checked out so we could spend a few more hours at Disneyland. Pool was fairly cold. It is a bit of a long walk to D-Land; but ARTS shuttle stops close by (when they feel like it).
The location was conveniently located in Anaheim which allowed for quick access to any places we wanted to see. The employee who checked us in tried to bum a cigarette off us which I thought was pretty unprofessional. We are checking in at 1 am and the last thing I want to have to deal with is an employee who cannot afford to smoke there own cigarettes. We are your customer your mission is to satisfy our needs not to try and get free items from us.
The breakfast is all sugar and carbs. Some yogurt and hard boiled eggs would be cheap and nice....the landscaping staff was horrible. They blew crap and dust and leaves in out room. One guy talked as loud as possible on his cell phone outside our door early in the morning.
Staff was friendly and accommodating. Beds comfortable. Relatively close to Disneyland- walking distance if you don't mind a bit of a walk. Public transit stop right in front of hotel. Free parking and plenty of it. Free wifi. Just beyond hotel seemed shady, wouldn't feel comfortable walking out at night.
Location to Disneyland, and the price and value Nothing to not like
Staff Hotel Beds Housekeeping was awesome! Amenities Side Chair Shower Noise level was low! TV was a little too small
Fully remodeled and clean room! It's so nice to walk in and see all new finishes throughout. We got our room for $59 a night. We used the shuttle system which picks up very close to the hotel too. The front desk sold us the passes and made it easy. Carrow's restaurant shares the parking lot and gives you 10% off the bill when you show your room key. B.T.W. - The front desk staffer was super nice and helpful to us out-of-towners. We had the accessible room which has a retrofit handicapped access shower. Unfortunately, the installers did a poor job and the water did not drain properly. While showering, we needed to use all the towels as a dam to keep a flood from spilling out over the threshold. Additionally, they mounted the shower curtain at the same height as a tub would use. That meant the curtain was floating 7" above the floor so all the splashing water shot right under the curtain and covered the whole floor. It's a simple fix and I'm surprised it has not been corrected. Maybe we were the first to use it since the remodel?
I like the location, price, comfort, cleanness. There was a good working microwave, a mini fridge, the showers are great, and hot. The rooms are all remodeled, air conditioning worked great, it's was over 100 and we were very cool, and the beds were very comfy. I have season passes, so I get to park for free and it's is very easy to get into the Mickeys parking lot, and take the tram. I will stay there every time unless I can stay at a disney hotel. I didn't really care for the breakfast.
