Location, staff support, comfort, friendliness
Hotel staff are ok, but need more english speaking staff if possible Location, location
i liked its central location the staff where very knowledgeable and the beds and bed linen were out of this world it was my birthday during our stay and was given a bottle of champagne i disliked the prices
Please write at least 15 words
Location & service are really good! They gave me a present at my birthday surprisingly.
superb hotel, superb staff, couldnt do enough for you. yes it is a lot of money, but for a treat and/or special occasion highly, highly reccomended
The location near to everywhere, the bed is extraordinary comfortable ! Only for the breakfast rooms need more improvement, more bigger for more guests.
The Location which central to tourist sites + the cleanliness of the room
Bathroom small and uncomfortable and needs to be redesign
confort of the room
- light with sign "don't disturb"; - morning newspapers; - the bussiness room/Internet is always busy; - the lamp on the bed's table fall down several times per night; - this is no possibility to swith off the night light
It was clean. At least one staff was useful. The billing system when we booked online did not tell us the exact charges. It should give us the total figure for all the days, and not just the charges for one day/night. We thought the rate was one sum and when we got the bill we paid 4 times more. This was a bit confusing and embarassing. The online billing system misled us
the staff is very frindly and good services the hotel is too small and my opinion should be 4 stars NOT 5
Staff, room, breakfast, ambiance Gym bit small and wrong equipment
The location is fantastic, and the service is 5 stars. The rooms are too small
overnight befoe travelling on no
The massage I had was one of the best in my life...
the bathroom was excellent then room was on the small side
Very nice Hotel, the service was very good too.
I was there for a business trip, and we rented their 'Manhattan' conference room for a presentation preparation. Very clean hotel and responsive staff. The location is very good. It's walking distance to the place de la concorde, the opera, madeleine, saint augustin, and other landmarks.
Hotel Position. Friendly staff. Nice breakfast. In general the rooms are small, and the hotel a bit "tired". Severe remodeling must be done to improve the hotel to deserve its price. 1) the hot water takes ages to come, I.E. no hot water recirculation pumps. 2) the room looks aged, and so did the bathroom. Not classic, but aged and overused, tired. For example "classic" weight scales that do not work. Why bother having them at all? 4) this ridiculous type fridge in the room! Charging as soon as you remove an item. I really dislike them. This is not a service fridge for cliens, it is a sales dispencer! It even has a note for a space 10cm by 10cm by 10cm "area for client". Like it is making a joke... ridiculous!!! 3) This hotel is very expensive for what it offers very bad value for money

Excellent location - friendly and helpful staff - nice breakfast Only having WiFi available in one small public area of hotel - being unable to connect to Vodafone home connection from room - appeared to be blocked!
Location, location , location. And expresso machine in the room. My room 206 has lots of noise from the pipe drain. I can hear water sound fushing Down the pipe when I am sleeping. It was loud. I took it as part of the authetic Parisian apartment experience hence I stayed 3 nights without changing room.
Excellent location. We were upgraded to superior room. Friendly staff. Expensive
Good value for money (at the reduced rate, even though all the little things in the room are extra!). Good size room, Quiet room when chosen the one off the street. Great location by Madelaine, good car park next door, No shower curtain. The drain in the bathtub plugged. Only one person at the reception at the time of check-out, dealing with concierge function as well.
Hotel Recept was friendly, fast with minimum fuss. It is actually very well located next to Magdelene Stn, and within walking distance to Concorde and Louvre. The road name should be reflected on the map, or the nearest train station indicated. The internet access was out but at least the staff bother to rectify it.
We loved the location of Newhotel Roblin. Place de la Madeleine is one of my favorite neighborhoods. The room we had was exceptionally small and cramped along with the bathroom.
Great location. Noisy attimes.
location hair-dryer, paid internet access
We stayed in a nice suite. Ample space for a family with two children.
the location Upon arrival we were told the air conditiooning in our room did not work. When we asked the staff about it they told us that the AC was out in the whole hotel, although the rest of the hotel was obviously cooler than if there had been no AC throughout. Also the second morning of our stay we lost all our plumbing and had to wash up using bottled water and had no toilet facilities.
excellent location, but 500 eur is definetely tooooooo much!
The Ambassador is a beautiful hotel with an excellent, staff. Their proximity to the Opera, the train station and all of the Paris sites make it an ideal location for a business or pleasure trip.
Perfect location, space (room and facilities), cleaness Staff fighting between themselves during breakfast and not providing expected service for a 4*. Check-in too long because out of the 3 clercks only one could make the necessary credit card operations. Level of service not at the level of the SAS I go often in Brussels close to cathedral...
The location of the hotel was good. The room was very small and old, it has not been renewed for ages. Bathroom roof and walls had apparently some mold on them, and the whole room smelled on mold when entering the room. The hotel is not worth the rate we paid for it (210e per night). Some personnel on the breakfast were very rude to the customers noting them about something had run out in the breakfast buffet.
personnel at reception and in general were very nice.Price of room too high at 2000+ Euros for 4 nights. This is not a five star. doorman was very rude
Nothing except for location. Poor breakfast, too small rooms, not cleanliness..
最低15文字以上ご入力ください Wifi in room showed no antenna on pc, and could not access from room..
It was a good location towards business I was doing in Paris. The Tv did not work. The room service was not good. They where friendly but forgetful and not very sufficient.
Great situation, good staff, good rooms. Didn't always get coffee and milk replaced each day
I liked the location, the staff and the rooms. All in all a very pleasant hotel on a good location. The breakfast is too expensive. You can better go to one of the cafe's near by.
fairly convenient location, good service room was very small barely enough room for luggage
Good location, nice staff Drug dealers around the corner
Close to metro No coffe in the room
Free parking outside the hotel on a side street, good size suite for a family of five Tiny lift, just able to get a buggy and adult inside. Sofa bed extremely noisy/squeaky and uncomfortable and disturbed sleeping children.
Convenient location A/C didn't work, light didn't work, just a tired place not value for money
The concierge The location.Horrible.
its location it was noisy both in the hotel and outside during the night.
Staff was friendly and helpful
Location was excellent. Difficult to find on GPS because it is tucked in a tiny street with several small hotels. Staff was great. Free parking in front of the hotel was incredible in Paris and worth a lot right there. Neighborhood was lively at night an quite quiet on our street for sleeping. Overall, a very good find in Paris for the price. Only negative was the room size. It was tiny even by Paris standards, I thought. Room as stuffy, but you were able to open a window since the street is tucked away from noise on the street.
Nothing special Rooms were not airconditioned. However, at front door of lobby it mentioned fully airconditioned.
Wery friendly stuff. Wery old and damaged furniture
good location Bedroom in need of refurbishment
Location and friendliness of staff as well as modern design of hotel and rooms. Rooms were clean with air conditioning and cable tv as well as mini-bar and sewing set. close by some nice coffee places and backeries as well as good connection to public transport. Small rooms but didnt bother us that much since we were most of the day outside in the city and came back only for sleeping, and I guess this is the standard in Paris.
Location was within reasonable walking distance to most main areas, price was favorable compared to other properties during start of Paris "high season" (and with booking on short notice). Bed was comfortable. Good working air conditioning. Rooms seemed to be constructed of inexpensive materials and were in disrepair (wall panels falling apart, stains on walls and ceiling, curtains not hung properly, dirty floor). I did not expect this as the hotel was refurbished and opened just in February 2007!! There was NO lobby or "receiving" area whatsoever. No services. "Free" WIFI was very difficult to use. There were no instructions or service info in the rooms about anything (fornt desk did at least have maps). Prices in sparse minibar were a bit too high, even for Paris. Hotel front desk staff could not even tell me options to get back to CDG airport. I had to go to another hotel for this!
Location The room was very small and the street very noisy
The location is good. Close to metro & department store. The room is too small.
It was very noisy in the morning. The room hasn't been prepared till 16.40.
Great location, really helpful staff, well planned and comfortable bedrooms The basin in the bathroom...you couldn't wash your face as the shelf above it obstructed your head. Really minor problem though
Very helpful staff and flexible service It was impossible to have a shower withour soaking the entire bathroom because of the poor design of the bathroom setup.
Villathena is located in a great possition! Close to Metro and rer (rail). Walking distance from Opera and many shops! The staff is very polite and well trainned. Room were clean and tidy everyday! Free internet access (wi-fi). The size of the room! It was small... not enough space for us and our luggages... Bath towels are small! Bit noissy in late night and early morning hours! Breakfast is overrated!!! Do something about it!
Good location, stylish (if small) room, friendly staff Lack of clothes hangers in the wardrobe
Bed was very comfortable. Nice clean and modern bathroom. Difficulty making a long distance call to Canada using a phonecard. But, eventually, the staff were able to help.
Adequate in terms of location. Check in staff were nice and restaurant staff friendly. Night staff and checkout staff could have been more friendly and helpful.Expecting a double bed in bedroom not two single beds.
bedroom - comfortable and clean no WIFI although advertised, no baggage porter as advertised, and doorman declined request for a taxi
Rooms were big and location was ideal - good value for money. Bathroom needed updating and so did the bed!
The location was good, close to Cadet metro and all the shoping. The rooms were modern, clean and comfortable. The reception staff were a mixture of courteous, professional and rude depending upon who was on duty. When booking I had asked for a quiet non-smoking room. When I arrived the reception staff had no record of me staying there. I produced a booking.com reservation number and after a few minutes they produced a room key with no apology for any confusion. The room they gave me was the noisiest room in the hotel. I went down the next morning and asked for another room, and was given a very nice room without hesitation (different staff member). Apart from the man on reception on my arrival the other hotel staff were very accomodating.
It was within walking distance of gard du nord station and also the metro. Room had a safe to store passports etc. The lift was very bouncy. Our room looked out onto the back of another building which needed a coat of paint. Lack of tea/coffee making facilities. Bathroom needed redecorating. Street where the hotel was located was isolated and not very well lit.
good location , near subway one of the staff had an attitude problem, he is the one who looks like Elvis wannabe
It's location. Air conditioning wasn't great so room got quite hot. Beds were adequate but have slept in much better. Cleaning staff ignored the "do not disturb" sign on the door. Lift didn't work properly.
convenience to Metro The spectacular rudeness and singleminded unhelpfulness of receptionist as we checked out.Shower door was ill fitting and water cascaded on to floor.when showering;a panel on the bath furniture had come adrift. The place seemed rather expensive for such a soulless joint.
refurbished clean hotel not old and noisy like many hotels in the same price bracket in paris 0730 one morning house keeping came into room otherwise no problems
Nice hotel was in a bit of a run down area so if your looking for romance I wouldn't recommend it but ok for city break
location, I got 50% reduction vs the standard price was not very clean
Design of my room.
Good service - good location
The receptionist who helped us checking out after one night. He was very professional and polite. It is catagorized as a 3 star hotel. It a 1 star hotel. We wanted this hotel because they had a room for 4 persons. 2 adults and 2 children. It was a small 3 person room. The room was dark and very small. The coridors was in dark and was narrow. We checked out after the one night we had to stay, not to loose our money. We moved to another hotel around the corner. A very good hotel, 20 euros cheaper pr, night.
The hotel is under refurbishment, so the lobby still needs some work done however rooms are very, very nice and stylish. Staff is very kind and location is good. Hotel only accepts Visa payment and not AMEX. For business trips AMEX is crucial payment option.
Design (and cleanness) of the room and kindness of staff. The fact that they don't accept AMEX. No kettle in the room.
Staff were helpful and pleasant. Room 601 had obviously been refurbished recentl. From the window one had a splendid view of the Basilique Sacre Coeur The radiator in the baqthroom had not been switched on and as we arriveed very late it was very cold. The room also was not very waqrm altho' there was a small (efficient, when turned up) elec tric radiator on low
it's location', near the metro (grand boulvards).
The staff is very helpfull and the location is good. The rooms are newly renovated. The renovation is going on in the hotel. There are builders everwhere. We got a newly renovated room. Looks perfect but could not sleep because of the heavy smell of paint. The floor we got was like a building site. There was not even a door number on our door because they have opened a building site to reservations.
Central location.Value for money. Breakfast area too small for number of people. General decor of hotel badly in need of refurbishment.
This was an incredibly well designed hotel, with all the charms of a french b&b but with the efficiency and attention of a boutique hotel.
Very close to metro lines -- poisonnaire station is about 3 minutes away. No stand up shower. Room was very compact, hardly any space apart from bed.
Friendliness of staff Hotel is undergoing havy renovations: scaffolding in front of windows, hazard for unwanted visitors, impossibility to open a window, dust. Should have lowered the prices during this period. Single occupancy of double room: rooms are really very small considering price
location was excellent
Very good location, comfortable rooms.
Comfort, Location and helpfulness of staff. The hand held shower over the bath.
It's location near Gare st. Lazaire
Perfect location, small room, moderate cleanliness, price is acceptable Small room
The location is excellent. The hotel is only a few steps away from shopping area like Galeries Lafayette and Printemps. Also metro stations are very close to the hotel. The cafe in front of the hotel is open until late hours. Hotel was very clean. I can recommend for couples and the tourists who are looking for quiet but want to be in the center of the city.
It is in a good location, rooms are smallish but large for paris, ideal for a city break Not well sound insulated, could hear guests next door
The hotel is close to everything in the centre of Paris and there was no street noise. We would not have chosen the hotel if we knew that the ground floor was under construction. It will surely be nice in 2 - 3 months.
Good location, the room is clean but a little smaller; hotel staff is o.k.
The staff was incredibly helpful and spoke great English. The location is right in the heart of everything… So it was incredibly easy to take an Uber wherever we wanted to go. The breakfast was incredible as well and even though we didn't spend a ton of time at the hotel, the time we did spend was beautiful and very enjoyable.
The room was very romantic, we had a beautiful view of the traditional parisian apartments with a patio. Unfortunately we didn't have time to order in, but I would recommend ordering breakfast to have on the patio. I wish we stayed longer!!
great location in the 9th arr. that is not too far from the metro. the surrounding neighborhood is pretty safe and offers nearby groceries, pharmacies, and restaurants. the room was just the right size for a quick and short trip. the staff are very helpful and the breakfast selection is great the internet was spotty and there is a lack of english entertainment on the television outside of the news -but not a real complaint as i probably would want to spend as much time outside of the hotel room anyway to enjoy the sights!
The hotel has Got a fantastic location. We walked to All the main attractions and shopping destinations. If you reserve without breakfast you get the Best deal because there's a lot of cheap and good breakfast restaurants next to the hotel We asked for a non-smoking room and Got a room with a terrible smell og cigarette smoke. The hotel was full so we couldnt get another room. The bed was very small, probably romantic for a couple but a little too small for two friends.
noisy and dirty
Very helpful, efficient and professional, English-speaking staff. 24-hour reception. Decent sized, warm room with ensuite bathroom with a decent shower plus hairdryer and plenty of towels. Unbeatable price for the location. Nothing.
The hotel is quite centrally located. Quite neat and clean.
Location was good and rates reasonable for Paris.
Perfect location with easy access to major shops, key attractions and sights. Convenient for Metro.
We liked the location, the building, the interior design and the friendly staff. We also like d the fact that it was brand new and everything was clean. We could use a writing area in the room a stand for the suitcase and hooks for the towels in the bathroom.
It's a 4 star hotel that is well worth its stars, providing an excellent service to the travellor: slippers and bathrobe available in the room, generous flasks with shampoo, body lotion and shower gel - very much appreciated especially for those who travel with only their handluggage!
The hotel design is stunning, the rooms are comfortable and stylish and the location is great. The staff were inexperienced and service consequently slow.
Reasonable sized room for urban Paris. Good Wifi, Nice bathroom. Hotel staff was not responsive. Also, they cancelled my dinner reservation, even though I told them to confirm it. I was upset.
The location is fantastic and the metro close by to get to all the sights. Breakfast was a little disorganised and the shower tends to leak all over the floor as the shower door does not keep the water in. I would say that they could provide better service in the bar as it was hard to find someone when wanting a drink which I would not expect from a 4 star hotel.
The service provided from all the staff, very friendly and sincere. There is no weighting machine for guest to weight their luggage to avoid being tax. Shortage of multi plug.
Location was good. The room was terrible, no operable window, flooded bathroom from roll in shower. AC ran non-stop, room was too small with nowhere to sit, set luggage and the rate was ridiculous considering. Nowhere near four star accommodations.
I enjoyed staying at this hotel! It is really great and staff is very helpfull and nice! We had a great room! The breakfast was delicious and athmosphere of the hotel is very nice although it is a splendid style for not everyone to understand! For some people room maybe dark but it is a design and for us it was great! If the prices will remain the same next year we definetely will stay only in this hotel! Thank you for a wonderfull staying in your hotel! I would like to give advice for russian travellers, it is better to pay for the room by cash at check-in, becausу the hotel first make a pre-authorisation and the at check out they charge money from the card and it takes a lot of time for the bank to return money back. Please note also that a day before check-in the hotel blockes amount for the first night on the credit card!
Location is perfect, I like a still of the rooms... Room is very small and bathroom and toilet is not so big,
Perfectly situated in the Opera District of Paris
the room and lobby Inexperienced staff
