There was a computer provided for the guests in the room that we stayed in. It's far from the subway station, the room is small based on the fact that we stayed in a club room, meaning it didn't meet my expectations since when I was in Singapore I stayed in a club room and it was way better considering that the hotel in Singapore was in the same star category.
Staff were very cooperative; very helpful; they went out of their way to make my stay pleasant and productive; I was disappointed that the telephone service was extremely expensive; city calls of
They always have a great staff Toilet flush was really loud
next to subway. direct shuttle bus from airport. helpful staff. smell from bathroom
Rooms were acceptable, lounge was nice. Breakfast buffet was very good although if it was not included in the price I would never spend 33000KRW for it. Front desk staff only begrudgingly wanted to help. No wireless internet access.
The Staff was polite and is able to speak basic English. Two lightbulbs in the room were out. Had to get maintenance. No wireless internet. The bathroom was not clean.
Staff was friendly and were fluent in English (very important for international traveler). Location is great (next to subway) with lots of restaurants and coffee shops around it. Fitness center and spa is a Plus. Have free WiFi in the room and in the lobby. Rooms are a bit small but clean. Very limited English channels on TV. Breakfast not included in hotel booking. Safety box are old and I had my stuff locked out.
Location Hotel staff didn't let us early check in even tho we called and asked . First room we get was old and not nice but after we complained they changed the room and it was excellent! Nice bed nice room perfect . Location was near the station .
Quite good location, reasonable facilities for price. The club facilities were adequate rather than excellent. Club facilities not up to level of most other international hotels I have stayed at.
The location is good, close to park, subway station and CoEx centre. Bathroom quite small, but overall the room is fine. Internet not free in regular rooms which is disappointing.
rooms, service, space and ease of transport
proximity to Myeong Dong, shopping and entertainment, Concierge staff were generally very hospitable and informative. but the staff at reception were curt and at times verging on being rude. The hotel needs some updating and in particular carpet needs good cleaning at least.
An excellent choice - exceptional staff - especially Kevin on concierge - fabulous There were some negative comments on location - it is a little remote but cabs are cheap and plentiful
commitment to provide services for business such as flight booking
it is quiet although it is close to downdown; the degree of softness of the bed is just right food is abit expensive in the restaurant.
Nice rooms, friendly staff and goof shuttle service from the airport and from the hotel to various downtown atractions.
When you walk into the hotel, you would be embraced by a very good and delightful smell. I don't know what it is, but I really love it. It's not easy to get a cab in fromt of the hotel. It's probably because of the location.
Professionalism Everybody speaks English Spacious clean and luxurious
Liked everything about the place. The staff were amazing and very helpful. Could not ask for more. The rooms were equipped with everything you ever ask for. Prices of the food served were a little bit too much.
This hotel was sold as five star. By International standards it falls well short of this claim. It is not enough to have a fancy lobby (or in this case an ostentatious one) if the rooms are grubby and tired.
The Guest Relation Officer. The check-in desk and lobby bar's service staff's attitude and poor knowledge of their chosen profession. Totally non hospitable and possess sub zero level of command of English, both in terms of spoken and comprehension.
the loby and the rest room none
Hard to think of anything The hotel is billed as 5 star which following a 10 day stay I think is way off the mark. The rooms are small, the décor was very tired (wallpaper poorly patched) and there was thick dust throughout. Even the bath mats / towels are worn out. The restaurants (and bars) were excessively priced even were it a 5 star hotel. The reception staff were pretty incompetent though the concierge service was very good. Overall this is a very disappointing hotel.
good service,best room condition no
Small & old fashion room, not good for families or couples
the room i stayed was raesonably clean and shower is very nice. Front stuff was very kind(unfortunetely they can not speak japanese) so far. there is no bath tabb in the room. the hotel is little far from nearest station. the problem is when i take a taxi to come back to the hotel, nobody knows. i alway have to show the card to the driver.
Efficienct layout of room floor plan. Cozy hotel for a single traveller. Complimentary water and over 100 Korean channels to choose from. Kitchen stove top was not clean due to cleaning oversight. Thin door resulting in voices traveling.
The location is a bit far from Subway. Need to walk around 10 min. But still easy to get to, especiallay from the airport
The room was gorgeous and the bed was very comfortable. Also it was closer to the subway than we thought originally. The bathroom was really nice and the shower head was fabulous, but the shower was pretty claustrophobic in general during my actual shower
The bed were very comfortable and the staff were extremely nice. The shower was very small. Also after opening the bedside drawer we found a condom box which was a bit un-nerving. The hotel was also unergoing renovations where there was no place to go for gym, Spa, hot tub, etc... Could've been better for the price.
Helpful staff who could speak English well. Room was clean and bed was comfortable. Good kitchen facilities.
Washer & dryer in every room.
Hotel does not have Wi-Fi like booking.com advertised. It was a big disappointment and inconvenience.
Location, room size and oversize window. Somewhat dated fixtures in bathroom; hotel inaccurately labels 'new wing' as 'new' when it's been almost 10 years since construction (circa 2006).
We had never been to Seoul before and wanted to book a hotel close to the shopping areas. The hotel was at an ideal location. Exit the hotel's front entrance, make a right turn, walk to the corner and find the stairs leading to the shops underground. Or, a gray cab to Namdaemun is only $1.90.The room carpet was stained. Everything else was immaculate. The marbled bathroom has the latest Toto. The hotel restaurants were pricey. An alternative? From the lobby, go down the stairway to their basement food court which is run by their department store. It's inexpensive and good.
It was so awesome staying here thanks to the great service and every thing!!
Good location. Great staff and cleanliness especially the concierge. Nothing
some of the front desk staff had difficulty with English (and other european languages)
This hotel is really wonderful. The staff on the front desk were extremely helpful, the room spacious (by Asian standards), and the bathroom very big. The restaurant was a little expensive but I have to say worth every penny for the buffet. It is outstanding!! This hotel comes highly recommended by me. Everything was excellent
Location, cleanliness and friendly staff. Room size was adequate and the features were modern.
Wonderfull ! Beauttifull room, confortable bed, extraordinary breakfast
Faclilities, design, cleanliness were all top class. Good accessibility when the new airport train is in service (2010-12). The location is a bit bad in terms of restaurants. Staff not very skilled in English.
Excellent location with lots of restaurants and coffee shops on Basement 1 and 2. Access to line 5 and 6 of the subway making it so convenient to get to wherever. The KAL airport limo stops right outside the hotel. Very clean rooms. nothing
I liked how close it was to the festivities that were going on while my stat there. I liked how the walls really blocked sound coming in from other rooms, it made me feel very seperated from the world. I did not like how the staff would look at my girlfriemd different than they would look at me, it really put off our mood for a bit. Also i got the room with the intent of it having a two person tub and it did not, but we were already put off by the mood we recieved so we didnt choose to pursue the matter.
Good location, good for shopping and business Air conditioner was not good enough for day time to reach 22degree C.
Best location and very convenient.
The hotel was literally steps (5-15 minutes) from some of the attractions, train station, tourist info kiosk. A staff brought me to my room and explained how to work the card key and explained which was free and can be charged to the room. Room was clean. There was no thermostat to adjust the heat in the room. I found the setting a bit warm. What solved the problem (partly) was to open an inner window so there was a slight cool breeze that came from the outside.
Friendly staff Front desk staff somewhat too 'formal'
Best location in Seoul, right in the center, very close to City Hall and Palaces. Subway is 100 yards away.
Check-inn and check out very quick. Conveniently located near city hall, metro access and within 5 minutes walking of my business address. No complaints
Friendly and Helpful Staff City Centre Location - walking distance to two palaces, subway, restaurants, city tour and airport busses Room was spacious and clean nothing:)
Accommodate early check-in; a little bit too expensive
This hotel has a great view of Seoul but that's about it. The rooms are old and very small for the pric that you are paying.
Great location in Seoul on top of Namsan with a panoramic view of the city. The hotel is located on the KAL airport bus route, so that is an added convenience. The rooms are modern and pleasant, although you should opt for the rooms with city and pool view. Perhaps the best features of this hotel are the health club, swimming pool, and spa facilities which are extensive, clean, and have an Asian flair. Fitness buffs and even couch potatoes would benefit and enjoy a few days at the health club. The food at the restaurants is expensive and one might do better eating out in Seoul. It's mostly average to good hotel food lacking the authenticity and character of real Korean food.
This hotel has a great view of Seoul but that's about it. The rooms are old and very small for the pric that you are paying.
The location was central to everything in Seoul. Perfect. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The room was clean, modern and comfortable. There was a direct entrance to the underground shopping center and subway. while there were restaurants inside the hotel, they were too expensive for my taste, and with so many other options around the hotel to eat at, why would you eat at the hotel.
Very attentive staff. Unique rooms. Very expensive food for the quality.
The hotel was gorgeous and the location was great. The staff at the hotel helped me with all of my needs and my stay was amazing. The lighting was a bit tricky to figure out in rooms.
Pool and sauna nothing to be desired.
Cab drivers had no issues finding the hotel Silent rooms despite fairly loud traffic outside Good proximity to Coex, subway, or city bus stop Helpful staff Beds were firm
People were excellent, they were friendly and helpful. Sufficient personnel spoke English. Rooms were clean, staff was friendly. Soap and shampoo is not replenished daly, you havee to call the desk or catch the housekeeper.
small but lovely Why room service is close early on sunday LOL
The hotel is opposite to the Full Gospel Church Yoido. Convenient to attend the Christian Conference.
Nearby metro station, service delivery staff, big and clean room, restaurants and convience store around the corner.
Great lobby and gym. Decent location and friendly staff. If you are going to live in the lobby, it would be a nice hotel. The rooms however, were straight out the 80's. And have not been maintained since then by the look of them. Wall paper was nailed into the wall. Beds sink to the floor and views of the side of a building. If it had been ~$50 or less it would have been fine, but the price they charge for such a dilapidated accommodation was disappointing.
Very nice hotel with great ambiance. Located in front of the biggest church in the world. Special on sunday nice to see. 7 services with over 10.000 people per service. New hotel for booking.com and upon arrival our reservation was not in the system, took more then half an hour to locate the reservation, in the meantime they gave a bar-voucher. Also information on booking.com about location was wrong. Mentioned is 8km from Incheon Airport but it is more then an hour from Incheon Airport! Quite misleading information.
staff was very accomodating
Service and the staff is really nice Sont know why they never had regular taxi
The staff! Very nice and very helpful. It was a mother and daughter shopping trip (we are from the UK but live in Busan) and we were treat like VIPs by all staff members. Apart from the lady in the gift shop who followed us around and treat us like we had just landed from another planet!! (We have lived in Korea, various locations for 12 years!). The lady in the gift shop following us around & her attitude! The smoking in the lovely garden area.
The staff are helpful, polite and knowledgeable. The rooms are well designed and have a great shower. Breakfast at the hotel is of a high standard. There is no lounge in the hotel where you can sit and relax. The meals from the "a la cart" menu were not up to standard. The airconditioning on my floor did not work properly.
