Very expensive as 4 stars hotel, with normal rooms and normal facilities charging for the internet Wi Fi connection is not necessary since they are charging high rates for the rooms, good hotels provids Wi Fi free as a facility,
The location of this hotel was excellent, just 200m walk from the front door of the Château - there is nothing better. The staff was excellent, helpfully pointing out the lovely square close by that was full of great restaurants. The breakfast was not worth the cost. We should have gone out for breakfast, but as we wanted to beat the crowds we had no easy choice.
The whole experience was a great experienceN
Excellent loction near to Chateau de Versailles, very friendly and helpful staff, hotel very neat although somewhat impersonal, free wifi. Own covered garage None.
Location ideal for visiting the Palais de Versailles. Friendly and efficient staff at reception and conciergerie. Bathroom rather 'cramped'. Some attention to decoration (e.g. peeling paint) needed.
Close to Versailles palace, quite hotel, friendly staff. Renovation overall is needed.
Very close to all facilities in Versailles Inability of the reception staff to properly recognise an Accor A-Club member
I really loved the atmosphere here and the close access to all the special areas in Versailles. They need to work on storage while staying for longer visits. They need draw space and a little bit newer furniture at this price level.
Location is perfect, near the Chateau. Interior is very modern, not inviting. Bathrooms need makeover: shower in bath etc. Very small and badly equiped wellness, turkish bath was out of order
fitness and sauna The restaurant and the breakfast room were closed and we had to wait our turn for the brekfast
The rooms in the Pavilion where we stayed were tastefully decorated, the beds were extremely comfortable, and everything was spotless. Room service was great - prompt and tasty. The highlight was the spa, I had a really fantastic prenatal massage that got rid of all aches and pains. The air-conditioning unit in the room was impossible to figure out! Luckily the windows opened so when it was a little stuffy we were able to air the room.
Excellent service and comfort Desk was unclear about what was included in all-inclusive deal.
It was near the event I was attending so few minures walk to return hotel which was good Everything was so so slow. Wait for food 30 minutes, wait to finish checking-in for 30 minutes.
The hotel was fantastic, I used to stay in good hotels, but I've never stayed in a hotel like Trianon. Bring nice clothes to get confortable. nothing
Really liked the relaxed atmosphere in the bar. The cleanliness of the bed linen and the bathroom. And the service by all staff was exceptional.
I loved the grounds and our little girl loved playing in there. The room was lovely and spacious and the staff were excellent.
Great location, comfortable bed, superb location. Did not like staying in the pavillion... Would prefer to be in the main building. Had to request baby cot and roll out bed twice!
Trianon Palace is a beautiful hotel in a beautiful location. The room we had was spacious and comfortable. The grounds are a pleasure to walk through. It is conveniently placed for the town and the Palace of Versailles. The staff are polite and attentive. One of the lifts was not working when we arrived and was still not working when we left. The one lift that was working was very slow. The hotel is very expensive. This is to be expected for a hotel of this quality, buIt is particularly noticeable when you add up the extras - parking is 20 euros per night, breakfast is 33 euros.
The location of the hotel was very good. The staff at the reception was very nice and helpful. Breakfast facilities were poor. No, it was living up to my expectations.
convenient for markets and restaurants
The hotel was clean and the staff were lovely. The rooms were of a high standard, much better than the amount of stars that the hotel has ! The location was a bit hard to find, but was close to the chateau and the train stations. The nearby restaurants were also varied and very good. I would recommend this hotel highly.
location, parking, efficient rooms, breakfast access from garage with luggage. elevator blocked with cars had to use stairs with luggage. not a small issue as we had been traveling for over a month.
the hotel was recently renewed. Room really small, the soap/shower gel never filled in in 5 days...
The hotel was near the Versailles Chateau, about 7 min walking. The staff was friendly, there is a parking garage and it is near the RER station for Paris. The breakfast was in standard, also the room.
Recently renovated, modern and clean, very good value for money. Offstreet parking for €11. Would recommend.
very small room and bed, medieval
Simple but effective! Tried to charge us 12 euro each for breakfast but no problem changing to 9.80 when we queried it
Location. The staff was very helpful. The room was a bit small, but you are there to see things not sit in a hotel room.
Location is amazing. Right across street from Paris train and Starbucks next door!! Bathroom needs a little more work (cleanliness).
Personal was nice The hot water did not work the first night. After that it worked
Great location. Within minutes of the chateau. Very small room even in EUROPEAN standards.
The distance to the castle and conference location
Great location. Very clean rooms. Nice decor. Lovely staff. Good wifi in our room. We bought our own breakfast and were told we could not eat the rooms. They were still so accommodating in the dining room while we ate our own stuff.
You can't ask for a closer location to the Palace of Versailles and the parking is priceless. Cafes to the hotel nearby sell tickets to the Palace. We didn't take the breakfast but probably should have. Nearby cafes were very expensive.
Nicely refdecorated hotel offering a great location for the Chateau de Versailles. Large comfortable room. Staff are very helpful. Internet very slow connection. Breakfast is quite expensive
600 yards from the palace of versailles, which was the purpose of my visit and close to cafes. Manager very helpful rooms very small and very basic Guess the price was for location
location temperature of room
The hotel is nothing spectacular, but good value for the money with an amazing location. The staff was absolutely wonderful.
Very kind staff The Breakfast to expensive
location was good overall appearance of the hotel differs from internet
The rooms are beautifully decorated, albeit a bit basic. My wife felt that the bed was uncomfortable.
close to the chateau. also on the main street but very quiet b/c of the wide boulevard and walking/bike path in front. not fancy, but price reflects that. super location. sadly there was a foul smell from the bathroom.
Super friendly staff. All spoke English very well, were cheerful and helping. Funny enough, actually have no complaints. I did have the triple room so the room size was quite nice for me. Maybe the doubles and singles might be smaller. But I had a good room.
The free wifi was the best feature. I liked the French doors that opened to air out the room. There was a very suspicious stain right in the middle of the bedspread; there was quite a lot of mold/mildew in the shower that could easily be taken care of with some bleach; the toilet took multiple attempts at flushing to finally work. It's overpriced for the rest of France outside of Paris, but I guess it's to be expected in Versailles.
short way to the Château de Versailles and the train station, friendly staff, good breakfast some persons at the reception don't speak English, basic knowledge in French is helpful
Pretty good location only 15 minutes walk from the Palais de Versailes and the main railway line to Paris. Versailles to Pris in about 30 minutes.
It was central for everything that we wanted to see, and was down a side road which meant that it was nice and quiet. Plenty of nearby shops and restaurants for all tastes. Slightly dated. Rooms were small and our first room had no wardrobe or chest of drawers. We asked for another room with all facilities and the hotel was happy to oblige.
Late evening arrival was easy. Reasonable walking distance to Chateau
Very Clean Room Room is quite small
very stingy with toilet paper. they were not trying very hard to make the hotel a good one.
Reception quite helpful in evening for medical needs. Good attention to details and repairs (if necessary) Not enough variety of cereal for breakfast. One sweetened cerial not good for those who are diabetic.
Easy to find. Close to everything - chateau, train station, etc. no parking
The hotel was centrally located. There were some ants in the room (we had a garden room!). But when we told the manageress she sprayed the room when we were out and we didn't find any more ants. The room was very sterile and could have been more amenable had a little more thought been given to the decor (I.e it was non-existant).
proximity to le chateau no kitchen facilities
The hotel is really well located (5minutes by walk from the Versaille Castle) in 2 minutes walk from a street with restaurants and bars.We stayed only one night (without breakfast) to be ready to visit the morning after and it's a good deal quality/price We book a family room and the click clack (convertable sofa) was not very confortable!
The front desk staff were incredibly nice and the location is excellent, quiet but very close to sightseeing. We did not get the type room we reserved. Housekeeping was terrible. We had to ask for clean towels and toilet paper. The shower was not clean, floor not vacuumed, curtains and shower curtain were filthy, room not dusted.
The location is fantastic, Versailles is only a minute or so away and there are restaurants etc just round the corner. The staff were great, the bed was comfortable and the breakfast was nice. The room we booked was a Superior Double Room but it was small and the bathroom was cramped.
The location, just 300 yards from the chateau The bed was uncomfortable
It was comfortable, friendly reception, good breakfast, near the chateau the versailles, in the center of the city -
very friendly stuff
Location was fabulous, quiet street, close to palace, restaurants, rail, a bar fridge in our room that was quiet. Hotel owner/manager was fabulous with our 2 year old child. The bed was uncomfortable.
Small, nice, seems to be just renovated..
As we expected comfortwise given the price but not that clean unfortunately
Very nice small hotel with an ideal location (walking distance) to the palace and the rail station for quick trips to paris.
Its location in Versaillies Telephone wire and connection exposed above bed indicated standards could be better.
We enjoyed our short stay, for the price we payed it was fine and in a good location, close to the station
The family spirit ans the easy way of solving problems
Staff very helpful when we forgot something in our room. Convenient location. Value for money - we wanted a budget hotel in a good location and it delivers. Comfortable beds. Great shower. Great shower but water went everywhere - no shower curtain!
Convenient location Very small bathroom and shower. old not very well kept building.. Small corridors, stairs etc. No fridge / tee or coffee in the room.
staff were excellent, room was very clean, hotel was very "cute" very romantic
Staff very helpfull and friendly location very good warm cosy homely room seize very good for France very modern good breakfast
Concierge was especially helpful and gracious. I loved that I was able to open the window in my room. Small bathroom . A little musty when I moved in.
The hotel was lovely, staff were very friendly, Room was spotless, Would recommend for people wanting a more traditional place to stay rather than a large commercial hotel that crop up everywhere nowadays.
Good location Being given incorrect information about location of petrol stations that sent us across town when there was one just around the corner
Friendly and helpful Rooms were small for family room
On both nights there were only enough towels, toiletries etc for one person. On both occasions this was pointed out to Reception who promply forgot to deliver the missing items. Bathroom lacked any ventilation and room filled with condensation. Room far from 'deluxe'
Very close to the Palace of Versailles and various restaurants, hotel adequate for our needs of 2 nights
Decor good, breakfast good, breakfast room charming. Bedroom a little small for a delux,
Our room was large and had a view of the lake and trees. We saw another room which was much smaller but still very well furnished and with views to the lake. The food is very good but relatively expensive. The restaurant is by the lake, request a lakeside table if you want to enjoy the view. The restaurant is covered but open on the sides.
The room was comfortable and spacious and the food in the Cafe restuarant was of a good standard The hotel were preparing for three functions and the staff were so engaged with these, we received rather poor service. To get pre dinner drinks we had to find the barman and we had the feeling that as ordinary guests we were not looked after. Additionally the Hotel itself is difficult to locate (even with Satnav} and also access to the underground car parkl is not easy. For a luxury hotel the bedding was sub-standard. The implication on the website was that the hotel stood in extensive grounds. This is not the case, it merely backs into a public park and lake.
Charming Hotel, lovely decor, good food. Gardens and courtyards were particularly attractive being on different levels with interesting plants and flowers. We loved it. Nothing. Would definitely go again. Maybe the lack of lifts and the many steps would not be suitable for older and infirm people.
Good sized room. Nice view over courtyard. No availability of table for evening meal in preferred dining room and for preferred menu, even though we arrived at 6.00 p.m. and the restaurants were not due to open until 7.30 p.m. Wedding party went on late into the night disturbing our sleep. Expensive charge for breakfast. Disinterested staff.
Bathrooms were very clean. Staff pleasant. No pool or tennis courts. Beds very saggy; bedding cheap - pillows infirm and blanket and sheet instead of a duvet is archaic. It is too far away from any amenities meaning you either have to spend every hour there or drive to anywhere you want to go and pay for parking, making sure you have change for all the car parks and parking meters in your purse - bring a huge bag of change with you! Ville d'Avray not particularly nice. Hotel should offer a minibus service to Versailles and Paris. There is no incentive to stay there when you could be in a city centre hotel. I am also unsure how it has four stars as it lacks leisure facilities.
