A pleasant, comfortable stay. Staff was very attentive and professional. As an added bonus, you get a charming location on the city's main plaza. This is the place for a sense of tradition and class. Since my overall experience was excellent, I cannot suggest much for improvement. Maybe get luggage racks for the rooms for more flexibility in storing and accessing my bag. Also replace some areas of the carpet in the hallway. These are minor things.
The staff was friendly, the room was clean and the morning buffet was wonderful. Lack of attention to detail for a supposed high end hotel. The bath would not fill with water because of a broken plug. There were no coffee filters, the safe inside the room didn't open. We heard loud music in the middle of the night, after 20 minutes I called room service to deal with the disturbance. After the music turned off my partner and I were treated to the sound of loud sex until 4am in the morning. I reserved a king size bed and the staff showed up into a double bed room. after waiting 2 hours recption we were finally showed into the proper room. I could overlook these small issues if I was staying in a motel 6 but I expect more out of a hotel who claims to be high class.
great place i think might be 4 starz all good think toilet had a little leak
The hotel itself is extremely scenic (Hacienda style). I was given the Aguascalientes Suite which was probably the best room I could have there. Internet access in the room is poor quality during 'peak' usage time (wireless). Service cannot be beat. Food at the restaurant was superb...just a little slow in bringing out main course. Other than that, I would stay there again.
We got a junior suite and the room was huge! King size bed, full size seating area, desk, armoire, fridge, etc. We were there for the San Marcos feria/fair and the hotel was in the perfect downtown location just off the fair route so we weren't inconvenienced by street closures or excessive noise from all the partygoers. The bathroom finishings were outdated but everything worked and we had fantastic water pressure and plenty of hot water. As anyone who has spent any time in Mexico knows, those two factors are always unknowns. The staff was courteous and helpful. My brother-in-law is in Aguascalientes for business often and he is considering switching to the Francia after his stay there. The furnishings were a tad outdated (carpet, upholstery, bathroom tile) and the refrigerator in our room didn't work. Other than that, there weren't any negatives. We may have been able to get another fridge had we asked but we were only there two days and at the fair most of the day.
being situated with Sanborn's was fine.
This is a very nice hotel, the staff is friendly, the rooms are very clean and comfortable. It has a very good restaurant, I highly recommend the breakfast buffet. Nice Business Center and Exercise Room. There is a large modern Shopping Mall right acoss the street, that has a good selection of stores and restuarants.
We had an awesome time. The hotel was great. The beach was a lot of fun. Nice waves. The staff was good too.
The location of the hotel. ACCESS TO THE SELF-PARKING: although the hotel charges the guests per day it does not issue an access card valid for the entire day. Every single time that you want to exit the parking, you need to stop by the reception desk to validate the ticket.
I accidentally left a pair of pearl earrings, silver earring, and a pair of white gold earrings in a small coach bag, after checking out! It's been a week since I checked out, and I happen to call today and indeed, they do have my earrings. The location, but other than that nothing. No free wifi in the rooms only in lobby.
