The architectural design of the hotel is spacious, airy and light and gave a feeling of high end luxury and of being in a lovely resort, it also had an asian design feel which suited the environment. The amenities such as the pool were lovely and we did the cooking class which was also very good. We had been travelling for several weeks and it was great to arrive to such a luxurious hotel - the bathroom was particularly large and very nice to use. Everything was great, only one comment and that is that the mattress could have been a little softer - we found all of the hotels in Vietnam had very hard matresses - maybe offering an option/choice of firm or softer mattress would be a nice added extra luxury.
The resort was one of the best I have ever been in. Location, staff, amenities and the pool and the food! Just marvelous
Lovely hotel and located right on beautiful Cua Dai beach. The gardens and the design of our room was gorgeous. fantastic swimming pool and plenty of sun lounges! Unfortunately the bed was way too hard for our liking and even though the ensuite bathroom was beautiful, the shower recess was grubby and in need of a good scrub. Also, the buffet breakfast was very sub-standard. Warm fruit juice and stale cereals.
beautiful vietnamese style hotel, excellent breakfast buffet,Spa and swimming pool, also excellent location, half way from beach and hoi an town, along beautiful river; highly recommended. nothing really bad except maybe the front desk staff ,not always concerned by our requests but we managed to do without help.
The hotel is really great, halfway from the beach and the city, very quiet and perfect for families and couples. Rooms are luxurious, big, and clean. Definitely, a very good experience that I will repeat if I come back to Hoi An
Perfect location between beach and town, lots of nice local restaurants outside hotel. Staff remeber you and treat you very well. Stayed in suite for small upgrade fee, definitely worth it. Free bike rental means beach only 10 minutes away, or 1 usd in taxi. In terms of price vs. what you get, a super hotel. f
The location was great being just outside the town, they offer free shuttles and bikes to access the town. The pool is a fantastic get away, drinks were great and the people super polite. The food was the only thing that needs improvement. Other than that great vale The food
Nice and clean pool. Shuttle to city/beach at no extra cost. Rooms are not so sound insulated. You can easily be disturbed by neighbours or noise from the adjacent buildings or gardens.
The first impression on entering the hotel is very favourable. The reception area opens up on to large airy atrium with a sweeping staircase on either side leading to the first floor. Our room was a junior suite - room 103. It was huge with two double beds in one room and an equally large living area separated by a sliding door. The decor is Vietnamese / Chinese. Our room had an enormous balcony looking out over the lush gardens and the swimming pool. There were two spacious bathrooms and two TVs with English language channels - great for the kids! The breakfasts were excellent with a good selection of Asian and western foods. The pool is great, although it is quite deep - minimum depth about 4.5 - 5 feet. There are some signs of storm damage to some of the roof in parts of the hotel and I hope they manage to keep up with repairs as this is a super hotel and it would be a shame for it to become delapidated.
Excellent location on the beach, but still close to Hoi An. Good facilities and very pleasant staff. Good, clean room. Free WiFi also a positive. Pricing for most aspects was on the high end for Vietnam, but felt resonable for the standard of service. Exceptions was prices charged for laundry which were felt to be overly excessive and only tend to create business for all the little laundry places down the road. If you are a business person with a shirt or two to be laundered, it's not too bad, but when you are on holiday with lots of laundry to be done, it gets ridiculous.
The staff was very attentive with good English skills, very comfortable and relaxing stay. The bathroom slats allow the person inside and the person outside to see each other, I would have perferred a closed off bathing area.
good service. kind people water in minibar too expensive.
. Your staff, the gardens the pool we enjoyed the resort and will come again breakfast v good selection dinner menu was disappoiting, only had dinner once at hotel
Perfect sea view, friendly personell, very clean beach, free shutle bus to Hoian city/
When we have checked in at the hotel upon our arrival, the check in representative walked us in our room. While he was walking in front of us, he was picking up his nose which took at least 1 minute, and he than throw what he find inside his nose. Nose picking is a accepted behaviour and a veey dirty habit of Vietnamese people ..however it is not exapted at the majority by the world and it is discusting and gross. Especially in the service business where foregin guests are hosted it is just unacceptable unspeakable do and ruins everything....
The room was nice, enough space for 2 people. The staff was quick with accommodating a change from one king to two twins. Breakfast Buffet was nice with many offerings. The massage and facial offerings were nice. The massage was just okay. My friend felt like the facial was also just okay. They both left something to be desired, however we cannot complain about the prices. both were economical compared to US prices.
nice clean pool, large well assorted breakfast buffet, helpfull staff. Large familyroom (two rooms with connecting doors) and beautiful view of the river when we booked the hotel we specifically looked for hotels in walking distance of historical center and the linked map of Riverbeach told us that it satisfied this criteria. It proved to be wrong and with only shuttlebus every 3 hours from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. we felt a bit constricted to the hotel.
Breakfast was good, together with its setting on the river. Free shuttle into town and back. Comfortable beds. Internet was very sporadic and frustrating. Rooms at front of the hotel have shutters that do not close fully, and there is no glass in the widows to keep out the noise. The rear rooms looking onto the river have glazed windows.
The people working there were great. The hotel booked a relatively expensive onward overnight bus ticket for me. It was a 19 hour ride in an old, slow, crowded uncomfortable bus, while most of the tourist buses on the road in Vietnam are modern and more geared for comfort. Not the hotel's fault, but maybe they should use a different tour company.
The staff is really friendly, resolve any problem very quickly, the food in the restaurant is o a good quality
PERFECT location! Nice staff. Comfortable bed. Good breakfast. There were ants in our room. Tired and worn decor.
V large, comfortable room, with lovely river view, ideally placed for the beach and a short taxi ride to town. Only thing I can think of is that the staff were unable / unwilling to recommend any restaurant / actiuvity event outside of the hotel provided activities. A little local knowledge and advice would have been very welcome.
We live in the city, Hoi An is quiet, peaceful, relaxing and best of all, there's alot of food serving local and western dishes. We had river view connecting rooms (rooms no. 316/317) and the kids were very happy to see ducks swimming, roasters crowing in the morning, fishermen in their little boats and fishing nets. The rooms were spacious with wooden ceiling panels and flooring. There were wi-fi connection, coffee making facility and bicycle for rent. The beach was wonderful, blue sea, finest sand you can find and its just opp the hotel. Ala carte food from the restaurant is too expensive compared to those available just outside the hotel. Water from the shower, flooded the toilet.
Near to the beach, sunbed and umbrella included, nice location
The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Breakfast was very pleasant again with very happy staff. The air conditioner was not effective and towels were of a poor guality for a 4 star hotel.
Excellent service, and for our 03:00 am departure from the hotel, the staff suggested a boxed breakfast which was welcomed. Staff were friendly and very helpful. Future visit for me hopefully will be the same as this one was.
The location was good & the view of the River very pleasant. I would say this hotel is not 4 star as was quoted, more likely 3 star. It was tired & run down although they did appear to be working on renovations. The beds were very uncomfortable.
Good location to look around Old City. And very quiet in night time (not day time) And some staffs are good English speakers. Breakfast is not good and the open-air restarurant is not good for buffet style because of many flies on the meals.
Very pleasant and stylish resort, calm and relaxed but only a five minute walk from the center of Hoi An. The restaurant as well as the bar are very expensive.
The hotel is perfecty located, just cross the bridge and enter the old town. The staff was friendly and helpfull. The hotel is surrounded by a beautiful garden. Also a vegetable and herbs garden. On your balcony you have a great view on the river. Quit place. The temperature of the swimming pool was more dan 35 degrees and had a strange colour.
Definitely much too expensive compared to other hotels in town.
Good resort type hotel which has a very central location, but is just far enough from the hustle and bustly of Hoi An. Nice setting on the riverside and handy river cruise boat. Looked like a nice pool but didn't use it as raining. Good breakfast.
The staff were very helpful and friendly, the pool was a welcome addition when it got really hot, the hotel is located adjacent to the old town just a two minute walk. our room could have benefited from a bit TLC refurbishment
The location was very conveniant and nice with a good view on the river and a lovely swimming pool. The staff at the reception was not at all helpfull. Only interested in recommending a shop. The internet connection didn't work at all from the rooms and from the reception only from time to time very badly. So, forget about "free WiFi".
Good location, great pool and friendly staff. Don't you use the clothing service, they used a dry machine that destroy all our clothes. Also the Hotel is pretty expensive for its kind. Maybe they should check out the prices of the rest of the 3 star hotels in Hoi An.
Hotel grounds and location are nice. Breakfast buffet was good. Room was dark , bathroom was dark, window was dusty. Beds were very hard. Room was overpriced. Hotel charged $21 for an umbrella that was stolen by another hotel guest when we ate breakfast in the hotel restaurant. We thought $21 USD for an umbrella was excessive (for Vietnam). Will not recommend this hotel to anyone!
We enjoyed the location of the hotel, very close to the city and with views to the river. The facilities were very nice, and well maintained. Staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel has a small road in the back and one of the sides. Motorbikes drive very close and the sound becomes intrusive. Breakfast could be better.
Good experience at Hoi An Riverside Resort. Comfortable and clean. In a good position near the city. Not on the beach but in wonderful place in the middle of nature...
The beauty of the setting; the friendliness of the staff, and the attention to detail. We stayed an extra day!
