The front desk staff was always helpful with answering the many questions I had. The took the time to explain everything. The room had no air conditioning. I was on the lower level. I realize you may not need it most of the time, but it does warm up. The lobby was also warm. Seemed cooler on the last day.
Even though this is a 'theme' hotel, the grown ups managed to have a nice weekend. Very tidy and good attention to (Lego) detail :) Would have been nice to be able to check in before 3pm and out later than 11am. The bar was scheduled to open at 5pm but at 5.15pm the bartender was still setting up - a shame because it was a cold, wet afternoon and people wanted hot/stiff drinks! ;) Lots of candles in the bar, but they were all burnt out - not very cosy ('hyggelig' ).
The logo things and games for the kids. Close and easy access to Legoland It is quite good and nice to stay there, but frankly the price is too high
The location of the hotel (near the Legoland). Also breakfast was ok - enough alternatives. The smell of pee at Duplo street where was our room.
Breakfast is good. Hotel staffs are very kind. The room was too small.During our staying it was very hot. But in the room there was only very small window. So we were uncomfortable.
The breakfast was excellent also the games area for the children. We asked for Knight room but they didn't update us that they don't have any place for that then we took the Adventure room with extra money. The room was new but smell from Glue and was very hot without AC. the Woman in the reception told me that they know about it and allot of people complain about it. but they still rent it to other !!!
Great staff. Excellent location - could walk right into Legoland. Extremely child friendly. All in all, a place that we would love to go back to. None.
It was very good to stay at the Hotel so that you could go straight into the Legoland Park
Fantastic location...let's be honest, there is not much else to do in Billund so staying inside the park is a huge bonus. The rooms are definitely 3 star rate but your kids will think they are 7. Cannot recommend it enough if going with kids...don't be put off by reviews saying the buffet is poor quality. Breakfast was good, for dinner we ate in the a la carte restuarant still in the hotel which was same price and excellent.
Location is great since hotel is connected to Legoland. Hotel has lots of entertaintment for children. Food is awful and overpriced. This hotel concentrates on quantity sacrificing completely quality on everything they do from food to service. Would never stay at this hotel if it was not so close to Legoland.
A terrific place for a family. There is at least day or two's worth of stuff just to do at the resort before moving on to Legoland next store. The only problem we had was that we didn't have a car and the train that brings you to each section of housing stopped far away from our house so we had quite a walk.
Clean, very family friendly, fantastic amenities, highly recommended, went with 3 children age 3,6,8 and they loved it. Some difficulties with the electronic bracelets for access to houses and legoland , expensive to eat !
It was cloce to the airport and you could walk to Legoland. We came late and had to get the ticket from the sevicesenter. They close at ten and we were just lucky to get it. It was quite stressfull alone with three children and a taxi waiting.
Very family orientated with lots of activities for children. Everyting was expensive
The house was very nice - spacious and immaculate. We enjoyed the resort a lot. There was a lot to see and do for both young and old. Incredibly expensive. Be prepared to take as much as you can with you or plan on spending a lot of money to buy it there. Turn the heat in the house either off or down upon arrival and keep an eye on utility usage (your account can be viewed on the TV). Utilities cost extra and add up in a hurry. We didn't like having to wear our entrance bracelets for our entire stay. They started to rub and were uncomfortable.
We visited Legoland and the resort was an excellent place to stay with a family. A home-like residence and facilities after staying in small hotel rooms was luxury.
Our house was immaculate and perfect for 2 families with children. We very much enjoyed the aqua park facilities. the train between the cottages and the aqua park, did not run frequently enough - especially when it was pouring with rain.
Lots of action for the kids Additional environmental charges are ridicolous
Spacious room, very clean and just a walking distance from airport. Very useful for an early departure or night arrival.
fast and comfort
location: walking distance to BLL airport WLAN not available, hotel seems to be brand new and somehow not yet organized at all.
Breakfast and coffee-machine at the reception though not for free ) Lack of furniture in the room. Had to put clothes on the floor.
Convenient for my purpose and good value for money
location, simple but efficient concept no parking available except at terminal at certain cost.
Convenience Sink was blocked
Location near Legoland. Lack of on site parking facilities and lack of air conditioning in the rooms.
Veri essential. Nothing around the hotel so to eat you have to find a space 5 minutes away by car or order from a take away. No parking so it is necessary to park on the airport! You have to add to the cost:
Everything you need when you arrive with a late night flight, just 200 meters away from the terminal. Good clean rooms , nearly no noise from the airport. Breakfast ok Internet should be for free. Be aware you can have no diner in this hotel.
room restaurant food solitude uneven carpark. cost
We liked the playground for kids and the direct access to the garden from our rooms. Enough parking in front of the hotel. Quite environment - located in a small village. Older property, small family room, very basic bathroom, and plain breakfast. We just expected a bit more with that price...
Our dinner was fantastic. The soup was divine, the main course was excellent. But, the dessert was the best we have had anywhere. Breakfast was included in our rate and was well worth it. They had soy milk for our family with milk allergies - that was a plus. It was more expensive than similar hotels elsewhere in Europe - but, it was Denmark. Expensive is pretty much a given. The bathroom was small.
Good value for money for Denmark as could have 2 kids in the room. Close to Legoland.
The friendliness of the staff & the cleanliness of the hotel
The location is great - nice quite village, not far from Legoland, good base for exploring local area. The restaurant is very cosy and food is pretty good! The choice of local cuisine or classic italian dishes for more conservative people. The room was spacious but somehow felt too 'basic'. I guess I was expecting a little more comfort for the money.
Excellent restaurant. Peaceful location.
Extremely clean and very well kept quiet Hotel where the restaurant food was excellent. Although it is out of the way, it suited us for our driving visit to Denmark No
Clean, nice rooms, child friendly, good restaurant on site
Nice room and a very polite and helpfull staff. Good breakfast buffet too The way to the room (nr. 22) was a bit hard to find though and I think that 50,- for wireless internet is way too expensive. Also the juice mix at the breakfast was way to watery
no internet in room
It was close to Legoland and Billund airport. There is a supermarket across the street. Radiators didn't work in the room. Noone at the reception after 22h. Very modest breakfast.
we waited 20 minutes when we arrived before somebody came, without apologizing. No double Beds?????
I thought the food was good although limited in choice, there was an excellent girl who was teriffic with all the guests, she was extremely helpful and if it wasn't for her then i dont think i would have survived my two nights there.( she had red coloured hair ) Unfortunatley there was many things i didn't like, i stay in about 80/100 hotels a year and this one was very dissapponting. When i arrived at 2pm it was closed and so i had to hang around for an hour, then i was booked in the wrong date. However the nice girl with the red spiky hair got me a room.
it was the cheapest accomodation I found around the Legoland, which was the main purpose of our trip. The restaurant was nice, though a bit expensive (3 soups 330 dkk??!), not noisy. The double bedrooms have twin beds! A shelf in the bathroom would be nice so that you don't have to fetch your things from the bedroom.
Walking distace from Lego Land and the meal we had in the restaurant was very good Rooms are a little "tired" and smokers in the "non smoking rooms" have thrown butts out the window and they are unsightly sitting in the gutters. Hard to carry heavy cases up the stairs.
Good quality for price. Clean room. Friendly staff. Silent place just next to town ceņter.
Parking is easy and the staff members are quite friendly No hot water in the room to make coffee, tea, etc. No fridge either.
the staff very gentle, ready to help you in any way; the room clean, the room with toys reserved to children, the breakfast, the possibility to have lunch and/or dinner in the hotel. The difficulty to reach the hotel and to move from there, if you haven't got a car; the prices of restaurant too high, the children's beds were actually 2 sofas and the room was not spacious.considering the fact that, due to the particular location near Legoland, your hotel receive many foreign clients, the hotel should be more "international"...and keep an eye on uses and costumes of foreigners (for example, at breakfast it could be wise to serve hot milk and expresso coffee, when you have Italian or Spanish clients!!)
