coming back to peace and quiet and just relaxing, and the food, which was delicous thank you my grandaughter was a bit disappointed there wasnt enough tv channels namely the music channels
The owners were extreemly helpful.Breakfasts are good and tea making facilities in the room make life more pleasant.
location ideal for town center and attractions
owners very helpful and rooms very clean vegetarian breakfast requested but was same as full english without sausage and bacon. veggie sausages would have been nice
Peaceful. Breakfast was great had full English made fresh each morning nothing
It was a very pleasant place to stay I found the bed very hard
the hotel was comfortable clean owners helpful and frienly nothing
everything, but especially the owners
The staff were extremely friendly. It was a lovely atmosphere
Staff were friendly and helpful
food was good room too cold
Going out! It was not very nice. But location was very good. Rooms Dirty, landlord constantly drinking and asking us for our car keys, roof in hall leaking through light fitting, overcharged on arrival, very dated, no checking out procedure, not family friendly.
General attitude of staff, very pleasant happy to help. the hotel very close to the centre. breakfast was buffet and very nice. The double bed (mattress and Base) has seen better days and the sheets were old with holes in them, ensuite facilities were a bit cramped.
Excellent service. We were made very welcome enjoyed our stay. Very close to all the shopping areas and the beach.
unfortunatley we cannot remember her name but the lady in charge at the hotel was fantastic upgraded through booking.com to a premium room with a jacuzzi bath. the furnishings were very basic and low budget. slopping wardrobe due to feet missing, wall socket loose, dirty cups, slopping shelf over sink unusable, best of all no hot water it was only aired at the best so much for being able to use the jacuzzi bath when we asked about this we were told that water was set at that temp due to the hotel being sued for water being too hot what a load of rubbish after that answer we didnt bother mentioning anything else just pointless another example of once they got your money they weren't interested. whatever you do dont bother upgrading to room with jacuzzi you cant have a bath anyway.
Excellent personal welcome and great breakfast
Staff were excellent Booked double room which was quite small but owner said I could move to a family room after 2 days but didnt bother
Good friendly hotel with a great bar area including music, pool table and helpful staff Some rooms were of smaller size
the family room was ideal for a familly. the hotel was ideally situated the rooms were clean and comfortable the showers could be improved as they were warm but not hot. there was no shower gel or shampoos
Situated in a good place Room lock was falling off...ensuite too small...shabby furniture (drawer broken)...if I wanted a tv remote control I had to pay a £20 deposit. Breakfast nice idea but sausages soggy in the middle, hash browns had a funny flavour. When checking in staff could have been friendlier.
friendly staff and room size not enough parking spaces
Staff were cheerful, breakfast was good as was car parking. Room was very small and toilet/shower equated to washing in a wardrobe
location room too small
The owners were very friendly and helpful, very chatty, and welcoming. The en suite was a little on the small size for people of a larger frame.
Our family enjoyed our stay at The South Beach hotel as it was really clean and friendly.
The location Allocated a poky back room with coffee splashes up the walls
Made to feel extremely welcome, very helpful and accomodating. Hotel perfectly situated, for all requirements, with excellent sea veiw. Fantastic staff and hotel has a feel of a real family hotel - one I both have already and would not hesitate to recommend to family and friends. Absolutely Not, Perfect.
The hotel was very clean, the staff were very helpful and pleasant at all times and the breakfasts were good with plenty of choice.
Really friendly and helpful hostess. Hotel has bar and pool table. Own key available to come and go as you please.
Friendly welcome. Standard of cleanliness and facilties. Excellent varied breakfast which accomodated our young son with staff alsways happy to help. N/A
The staff were friendly and extremely helpful. The rooms were clean and tastefully decorated. The breakfast in the morning was also excellent. We enjoyed everything about our stay here. There is limited parking so although we were lucky enough to find a space, others may struggle particularly in busy periods. However there may be more parking nearby which we were unaware of.
John and Lorna were very hospitable hosts, rooms were spotless and found staying there a most enjoyable break.
close to amienities
It was a very friendly ,clean & comfortable hotel.
Owner/managers were excellent, very friendly and gave useful information and advice only the size of the room in which we stayed
visiting blackpool pleasure beach.
Definately none This hotel was a dump. It was not worth ha;f the money we paid. You could not swing a cat in the so called "family room". The people were rude to my granddaughter. It was a complete disaster
Really nice, pleasant little hotel very close to the pleasure beach but off the main drag, so relatively quiet for Blackpool! The owners made us incredibly welcome and the breakfast was fantastic, lots of choice. Would definitely recommend The Corona if you're looking for somewhere pleasant to stay in Blackpool. Only one complaint...slightly hard pillows!
The room was clean and staff were friendly Our room was very small so much so tea making facilities were left in the wardrobe.
The guys who run it were very helpful and friendly; they had great advice about places to eat.
staff pleasant hotel very good breakfast excellent the room was clean tidy and the facilities were excellent, helped with gettin rooms together for my family appreciated this touch, would recommend this hotel for other guests
excellent and well run hotel, facilties are up to a very good standard.the staff well trained in their duties and of a pleasant dispossition
Hotel was very clean, the hotel is updating its rooms and they are excellent. Paul and Richard were great hosts and went out of their way to make you feel comfortable. None
Cleanliness and friendliness just to be picky - the size of the rooms
The Corona was a very pleasant surprise just off the main promenade in Blackpool. Friendly team, very welcoming and a clean, fresh, warm environment for couples, singles or families alike. Big thumbs up! :-)
Comfortable clean rooms, very friendly management and staff. Excellent breakfast and very good evening meals. Would stay here again and recommend to others.
The staff were very helpfull and friendly. Our Children felt at home. They wanted to come back next time for longer period.
Nice quiet hotel, friendly welcoming staff. Room clean and warm. Breakfast limited to 1 item each of hot breakfast (eg 1 sausage, 1 hash brown). Shower wasn't that great in the morning, kept going cold and loosing pressure (probably because more than 1 room trying to have a shower).
warm and friendly no
Friendlieness of staff. Welcoming atmosphere.
breakfast and bed was comfortable no
we were so well looked after by sue and geoff our breakfasts were lovely and the place was spotless nothing is too much trouble and being so close to the sea front and pleasure beach was a big bonus, we will come again.
Excellent breakfast, friendly staff, good location especially for south pier and pleasure beach.
Everything! Ecspecially the breakfast!! not being told that maids would be coming in to check the rooms daily.
It was fine but when we got ther there was a bit of a muddle up with the rooms but the rooms them selves were exelent it was a delightfull hotel
The owners were lovely and the room was clean and had lots of pillows and breakfast was very good The shower was not very good and the room was cold in the evening but I would still stay here again
Nothing Staff not welcoming at all.On arrival, we were informed that breakfast the following day would be late, if at all because the staff were going out on a birthday celebration. When we came down at 9am, the lounge was closed and not laid up for breakfast. One of the wardrobe doors was unhinged and the light above the sink was in pieces in the sink. We were totally unsatisfied and should receive some form of renumeration.
there is nothing i liked about this hotel except leaving in the morning Everything from arrival till we left it was disgusting
They looked after us and alway asked if they could help with anything None
Absolutely fantastic value for money, I booked for one night but ended up staying for longer, I could not say enough about this hotel, the staff were amazingly helpful, courteous and accommodating. The hotel itself was very clean, got up graded to a family romm and it was big and clean. I had a meal in the hotel and again the staff were great and the food was amazing probably one of the best breakfast I have had. Was only 2 mins walk from the train station and 5mins (max) to the shops, beach and nightlife. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. Thanks.
The bed and bedding were very comfortable. Room was colour co-ordinated and clean. Had freeview tv. Host friendly and informative with regards to local area and recent improvements to Blackpool. Faint smell of tobacco smoke in main entrance. Din't smell it again at any other point, however not a good first impression. Owners dog being allowed in the dining area at eating times.
we were made welcome on arrival, the hotel is clean and close to all ammeneties and good value for money.
I really couldnt find anything good about the hotel. The room, toilet facilities, broken furniture, overall appearance was shoody.
