Location, staff, room add spa! :)
The hotel is very central. The rooms are simple, clean, good area, with a nice design flavour. Very central - nice restaurants and bars near the hotel. 2 duvets in one king size bed. Had to ask to refill the soap vessel and water in the room.
Standards of finish and cleanliness exceptionally high. Nice rooms - well equipped. Whilst the bar staff were nice, they were unable to mix cocktails! The Negroni cocktail is made of one part gin, one part vermouth rosso, and one part Campari, garnished with orange peel. It is considered an apéritif.
Very good location - good access to the city center and the tourist attraction, quiet and sophisticated surroundings. Very good facilities at the price.
Clean room, wifi, good breakfast, good price, good staff
good location close to key attractions in Berlin plus discrete and competent service
The internet should be improved as one had to log into wifi again and again several times a day, even if you had not left the hotel. The booking did not come through for 48 hours. The hotel is conveniently located in Berlin, has comfortable rooms and a nice breakfast, with vegan options.
modern hotel, spotlessly clean and comfortable in the heart of the city. very good value and the option of a continental breakfast in the bar, at 7.50 was really good. could not get the wifi to work on my iPad but there was a business area with 4 computers anyway for free. Highly recommended.
comfortable location, style design, free of charge of standard number on superior, friendly staff. expensive breakfast
Location The bathtub filled with water up to my ankles and drained really slowly
Excellent staff and hotel and great value for money. Nothing was too much trouble and the staff response to our queries was instant. We had to plug in the ariel of the tv ourselves and the telephone wasn't plugged in. No clear instructions on how to contact Reception since the booklet said one number when it was in fact another one
You made us feel special! nothing
Swimming pool Cigarette smoke smell
I liked the pool and that they had bikes for rent. It was close to a lot of things which was very nice. Housekeeping woke us up every morning at 10 am. When I'm on vacation I don't want people coming into my room and waking me up. Any other hotel I've stayed in they don't start housekeeping until noon or so but I guess that's how it is here in Germany. The shower wasn't draining but they fixed that the last day we were there.
Central location, the staff were friendly and helpful, all the rooms were clean and comfortable, the hotel has a very modern design and feel. The food and drink, especially breakfast, was very expensive
Stayed here during Berlin Marathon weekend. Chosen it because of location (500m from the start/finish). Very nice and convenient place. Overpriced, though. After booking I emailed hotel and asked whether the late check-out option is available. Was told that at some additional fee like 30-40 euros it is. However on Marathon weekend they cancelled that feature, which I knew only after arriving. Had to check out early - put some disorder in my plans.
very beatutiful. convenient for my purpose, good facilitie including pool, lounge with interent access
Closeness to the start/finish of the Berlin Marathon Swiming pool water was very cold.
The hotel room smelled like smoke despite the staff leaving the window open. The room was tiny and the bed was practically a pull out. I use Kayak to book hotels and was disappointed by this choice especially considering the extremely high price I pay of over 350 dollars for a small twin bed.
Nice staff, polite and helpful. I think it's an expensive hotel and it needs refurbishment. It doesn't look like a 4*hotel (e.g. no shoe polisher, no tea/coffee in the room, the room smelled as if somebody had just smoked before I arrived, thou I had specifically asked for a no smoking room etc.)
friendly atmosphere, helpfull staff using the internet computer together with printer didný work. staff was helpfull to give me another opp.
Staff members greeted us warmly and the lobby looked very luxe, so it was a good first impression. We found the room and bathroom to be very clean and of a good size for two people - not spacious, but pretty similar to most American budget chain hotel room sizes. The bathroom had a large countertop area for toiletries, and it was great to have some chairs in the room, too, so we didn't have to sit on the bed all the time. Sure, the carpet looked worn, but nothing else looked shabby and it didn't affect our comfort level at all. We always hung the "do not disturb" sign on the door overnight and were never bothered by housekeeping. Plus, the location was perfect - a block in one direction to the metro, and a block in the other direction to the bus. It was extremely convenient to get around, and close to plenty of restaurants, shops and things to do and see. We got an excellent deal on .Price..line. and were very happy with our stay. The water temperature in the shower fluctuated a bit during peak showering times. Also, the mattresses were harder than I'd like and thus not that comfortable for me, but that is subjective. Pillows were quite flat, but they happily sent us more when we asked.
We were given a suite which we hadn't booked but was perfect for a family with a sofa bed for our 2 year old and a cot for our baby. lots of space and comfort as a result. one of the reasons we chose the hotel was for the swimming pool which we thought would be nice with children. Unfortunately it was freezing cold, too cold for the baby and our 2 year old was shivering for an hour after using it!
Thhe Breakfast Buffet was fine! The Hotel is really old and you see it in any corner! The carpets are from the 70´s the curtains were so dirty and even damaged! It was difficult to close the curtains to get darkness in the room to sleep. Even the uniforms of the staff were obviously used and old like the carpets! Not a good feeling to stay in that house.
Friendliness and helpfulness of staff / breakfast / comfort of rooms No free wireless internet
We have now visited 5 cities in Germany. This is by far the best (up to North American standard) we have seen in Germany. The price happens also to be lowest. It even has a large bed, not normally seen in Germany. There is also a free computer access for internet (though only one). The location is quite good, within walking distance to the Museum Island and Unter den Linden Street. Only one computer for internet access. But better than none (usually the case in Germany).
Breakfast Their systems was break down when we arrived the otel, and reception clerks was not experienced people.
Excellent breakfast & evening meals, good locatoin for sight seeing
Most of all I liked, that the hotel was 3 minutes walk from the metro station (Marchishes Museum-line u2). And it is close to the city centre (15-20 min walk), where you can walk and walk along the main sightseeings, until you get tired and then it will be easy to return to your hotel, that will be not far from you anyway. We liked breakfasts very much! They were really luxurious. Very various, rich and delicious. The room was OK-not big, not small, comfortable for a family with all necessary facilities.
The hotel is OK. Good location. The staff, at least the one thet greeted us, useless and very rude. First floor rooms can be noisy and smelly (sewage)
Quiet Staff, first, pretended he could not take my miles card (even after I insisted and sounded surprised about it) and seemed to be really upset about my question. Then another one (the supervisor?) said it was possible.
Bed, Wifi, Staff
The room was nicely decorated with all the necessities and a bit extra such as free coffee. The Cleaning ladies was very nice and supplied us, without us having to ask for it, with extra pillows. The process of ordering Breakfeast on the hotel room is badly described. The cleaning personel should be able to bring the request to the kitchen in stead of hanging it back into the room again.
Nice hotel located in a good place to offer you the opportunity for visit Berlin.
Proximity to all of the sights I wanted to see during my stay in Berlin. The expensive breakfast.
Rooms clean, nice atmosphere, poor personnel Personnel behaviour during check-in
Proximity to Ubahn station and tourist sites. Had to use the bar in sister hotel across the street.
Friendly staff. n.a.
Great spot to see Berlin. They weren't kidding about being close to public transportation, and even walking to a lot is a possibility. Room was classy, comfortable and clean. The entire hotel was, to our young eyes, a little classier than we'd normally stay in, but the price was right and we enjoyed it very much. Took forever to get checked in. Front desk was mostly polite, but we felt a little brushed off waiting to check in. They did however hold our bags as it was well before check in time.
It was great! ! ! I was very impressed with the room & its location in the building. As well as the location of the hotel in the city. No air conditioning. It was very warm on the days I was there.
The location of the hotel near to the Chinese and other Embassies, with very good Public Transport from nearby Jannowitzbrucke Station.
It is in center of Berlin, from there you can easy go everywhere.
I was in Berlin for a couple of days on a business trip. Overall, the facility is mediocre. It is clearly old and a little bit rundown, but nothing particularly major. They try to keep it clean, but there is only so much you can do without major updates. Don't get me wrong-the hotel is not dirty, but it has more of a 2 or 3 star hotel level cleanness, definitely not 4. The location is OK. It's a bit further away from the center, but the hotel is literally in front of a U-station, which makes it easier. My main two issues were with amenities and service. First, they have the worst wireless I've ever encountered anywhere in the world. Literally that. The connection was poor and kept dropping all the time. It was impossible to get any work done in the room. I could do some in the lobby, but not in my room. Also, weirdly, the terms of wireless service prohibit you to use Skype or IM under the argument of protecting copyright. I am not sure I understood this logic, but I couldn't communicate with my family from there anyway, because of the poor connection. The TV also didn't work very well. The few channels in English they have kept disconnecting. Second, the hotel staff, while not rude or anything, was very unwelcoming and not helpful at all. For example, I arrived pretty early and although I did not expect them to have a room for me at that hour, I hoped to use that time to do some work in the lobby. It turns out, you cannot access their wireless without a code and they will not issue a code unless you have a key to your room. They did check me in on arrival, but since the room was not ready I couldn't use the wireless even in the lobby. Why? Nobody gave me a reason, other than this is how things work in their hotel. The staff were not ready to do anything to help. Another example, when I learned couldn't use the internet in my room, I asked the front desk for instructions for getting to some place. Getting those instructions was like pulling teeth - I had to guide the front desk person through the process of looking for commute instructions online all while she does everything to show me that she is doing this unwillingly. Finally, I needed a band-aid at some point. Of course they did not have any. Honestly, I wouldn't mind most of it, but for what they charge and for the reviews I expected more. I will avoid this hotel in future. There are other options in their price range.
Beautiful room, good central location. There is a u-bahn station right across the street, which is very convenient. Also, if you want to, you can walk in 15 minutes from the hotel to the Alexanderplatz. The shower fell apart twice during my stay. However, I managed to fix it myself without any tools.
Breakfest was perfect. Very good situated, 2 steps from U2 station Maerkische Museum. Very polite and friendly stuff. 2 bottles of beer and 2 mineral water for free. Very good spicy indian restaurant in hotel. Saune and spa, but we didn't use them. Everything was super. May be there is no good views from this hotel, but nobody offered them and it is not very important. In description it was mentioned that there is 1 double bed, but in fact there were 2 beds, which a little bit were mooving apart.
staff was great room was a bit warm
romm very large and confortable, with small kitcken- very quiet Breakfast a little bit expensive
The service was excellent and the hotel staff were always polite and very helpful.
The room was a good size with a bath & shower and a view overlooking Berlin streets , Location was very good for sightseeing, The staff were very helpful with information on where to eat , drink etc. and even booked resturants for us . We as a couple cannot fault the hotel in any way
We appreciated the location of the hotel near the centre of the city, within walking distance of many major attractions. We had an upgraded room which we especially appreciated. Not sure what the regular rooms would have been like....
Location was very good. It would have been nice to use lobbys internet without cost.
Very accessible The shower is a little too open and visible in twin rooms. This is a bit odd if you are not sharing with a partner.
Central location (next to Checkpoint Charlie) in the Mitte. Friendly staff who were never too busy to make you a cup of coffee at the bar.
Very central, next to Gendarmenmarkt and at a walking distance of Unter den Linden. A design hotel, very clean and big. A perfect value for money. Moreover, the breakfast is big and has high quality Breakfast a little too expensive (12 euros). If you do not usually eat a lot in the morning, you have a cheaper cafeterias next to the hotel in Friedrichstrasse
It was very clean. Beds were comfortable, big bathroom. Good localization. We were missing small stuff like shampoo, body milk, or small toothpaste. This would be very useful, escpecialy for people who travel a lot, and stay in many places for a short time
This hotel was very cheap for a 4 star - but not cheap enough for the poor design of the room. Close to Check Point Charlie and the U Barn and had a supermarket and japanese restaurant around the corner. The rooms were very modern given it is a relatively new hotel. Staff were friendly. Automatic blinds as the room looked straight onto the incoming traffic on the main street. This hotel is hazardous to stay in! Tiny is an understatment. The room was so poorly designed that I left after two nights with numerous bruises. I know I paid for a standard room but I expected to be able to turn around in the shower without bruising myself and get in and out of bed without bruising myself and having to jump over things. Did I mention I am only 5ft 1 and 42kgs? There are separate doonas and the beds are small. The bed is surrounded by wooden edges which you are most like to bruise yourself on. There was also a hole in my sheets which made the flimsy foam mattress and cheap lumpy pillows even worse! Did I mention that the closet was smaller than a mini bar? Good luck fitting even 1 winter parka in there!
Excellent location, clean, good value for money. Small room
The hotel had a family suite comprising of two double rooms which was ideal and very good value
paid for an ordinary room but was upgraded to suite on arrival, not requested by me.Room was 11 metres long and normal width. best I have ever had. A luxury suite at 90 euros. Fairly good position next to Checkpoint Charlie. Close to U trains and Friedrickstrasse for me..........perfect........no complaints
Great location, comfortable rooms and helpful staff. The breakfasts were relatively expensive but offered a wide selection of food - enough to last a morning of sightseeing!
The convenience to the city centre & stations. The overall comfort.
An excellent and attentive staff - even kept the bar open specifically for our group of 8 persons. Nothing was a trouble to them. We all made gift purchases at the hotel... Our rooms were spotlessly clean and although not ready for us when we arrived at 9:30 (we did not expect them to be), the very helpful receptionist took our luggage and gave us tags to collect on our return. When we returned we received an excellent run-down of facilites available in the hotel prior to being given our keys. Couldn't fault the excellent breakfast and our meal (included as part of the Italian Weekend Break) was also excellent - we went off the main menu at very little cost!!! The staff in this restaurant were also very warm and welcoming and helpful. Our upgraded suites were perfect also. Couldn't fault this hotel in any way. Would recommend to anybody and hope to make a return visit. Everything was perfect - may be an idea to have tea/coffee making facilites in the rooms but we didn't miss same!!!
Cozy, quiet and comfortable. Helpful and friendly staff. Very relaxing stay. Room was a little overheated. Breakfast was good but a little expensive.
ggod value for money. quality rooms and very helpfuş staff. food variety at breakfast was excellent
Near downtown. Good communications (underground, etc). Free internet access and a free PC. I was very lucky because I booked a normal room and they gave me a suite
Comfortably large room for 3 persons. Good location at a historic site. Good front desk staff who guided us in chalking out our city trips. Good breakfast spread. One of the best Mercure hotels I have stayed in.
Family Suite was excellent size and Hotel was very central Did not like the fact that the hotel had no restaurant for evening meals.
Location of hotel, spa drinks/meals costs high
Kayak provided me with an amazing deal to stay at the Adlon Hotel! The room was spectacular: clean with awesome features Like temperature control, super comfortable beds (the most comfy beds I've ever had in a hotel). Breakfast was included...a stunning breakfast buffet including luxury features like Caviar...as well as champagne, Asian fried rice...a lovely buffet!! Our stay at the Adlon was unforgettable and I'm already looking forward to returning there one day! The Adlon hotel is a pricey hotel. Even the prices at the bar reflect that! Nevertheless an awesome place to stay if one likes luxury, cleanliness, and extreme friendly attentiveness from the staff!
Attention to detail. The daily brunch (included in my reservation) was spectacular - the food was not only plentiful but also delicious. On my birthday, I was served champagne with breakfast. Staff. Each staff member was courteous, helpful and most importantly, dedicated to service. If they did not know the answer, they would find it for you. Spa. After my conference I booked a day at the spa - the massage and facial therapists were professional, most capable, and pleasant to spend time with. Food. The onsite restaurants had expectional cuisine and the service was equally matched. I was a guest at the hotel for 5 days/4 nights. My mini-bar was not restocked for 2 days. There were no washcloths (which Americans use); however I was able to obtain them from the spa. Each day you had to create a new WiFi password.
very nice comfortable hotel.reception.food.and launge nothing
The ambiance was wonderful. I loved the tasteful decor of the room and the lobby. The location is excellent. I wish the lobby was non-smoking or you would put the smokers in their own section. I couldn't enjoy sitting in the lobby because of all the smoke and therefore missed out on spending time listening to the music and enjoying the lovely setting.
The hotel is situated in the heart of Berlin and the connection to the international Airport Tegel is very good. The quality of the food, in several restaurants they have, is good but not very good. Therefore the prices of the dishes are way to expensive.
The dining was great.
Location and helpfulness of consigiere services...landmark and historic hotel
It's truly a 5 star hotel, it makes your life better! The Bar (itself) in the lobby couldev been fancier, the hotel has A gorgeous lobby but the Bar is just ok. Ritz Carlton has a nicer bar(americain)
It was a marvellous experience from arrival to departure and I would not hesitate to recommend to friends.
The service level of your staff!!! excellent!
Was very impressed by the care, attention to detail, and understanding of the staff at the Adlon Kempinsky Berlin. Sheer luxury not only in material terms, but in humane ones, too.
Great location near the museum island and Alexanderplatz. Friendly and helpful staff, original setting with huge acquarium in the hall. We had a double bed but it was actually two single beds joined together, uncomfortable gap between mattresses, not to be expected for a hotel of this level.
Location was amazing. Lack of air conditioning, though I gather that's usual for Germany.
The staff, the balcony, the room and the aquriam.
Staff were efficient, friendly and accommodating. Our room was very comfortable and well designed. Room service and breakfasts were excellent.
service staff was very helpful and polite, above expectations room could be warmer
the aquarium is spectacular and the hotel at all is very modern; location is very good but still quiet (Museumsinsel) and for two to three nights the place is nice, many different restaurants, excellent breakfast rooms are small, no luggage service (you need to get your suitcases up yourself... and out again to the taxi... 5 star??), atmosphere of the main hall is like a 'railway station' - very strange acoustics and a kind of cold,
aquarium Staff not as professional as I would have expected - we arrived early and left our bag, were told they'd phone when room ready so we went for walk in snow and never got call. Also concierge tried to charge us for free internet.
We loved the hotel...great location, beautiful decor, comfortable and clean, plus the Aqua Dom view was outstanding! We'd stay here again in a heartbeat (and we will be back!) Nothing!
The view of the aquarium from the room was super! Good location. The bar was a little pricey!
The atmosphere and ambience of the hotel was amazing. All the facilities where top class, in particular the spectacular 15m high aquarium within the lobby area. this is well worth a visit alone.
The magnificent aquarium, very helpful and polite hotel staff, very close taxi station, nice ambiance of the lobby the room temperature can be warmer, not enough english channels on the tv
the fact that a 5 star hotel did not include slippers and bathrobes in the room, and that the furniture was at ikea-level standards
Organised, cleanness, quite atmosphere, the amazing & comfortable location & the staff kindness). I didn't like that the internet is costly chargeable (This old system doesn't exist anywhere in the civil world anymore). The welcoming is not special (No welcoming water, fruits.....).
They wanted a print out of my receipt for the hotel booking as I booked through kayak. I didn't have a print out so caused a minor issue at checkin
good location and worthy of its star rating. The renovations were not too difficult to live with but did restrict easy movemnt around the hotel. looks like these will go on for a few months yet
location nor free wifi
Very efficient and superb location. Slow service for lobby guests and poor lunchtime cooking in Mark Brandenburg Restaurant.
Very good restaurants and cafes close by. Many attractions within walking distance (Brandenburg Gate, Museum Island, etc.). The hotel charges 25 euro for in room internet access, and for the cost of the in-hotel laundry service, you can purchase a new wardrobe.
Very nice place to stay Breakfast is extremely expensive.
Its location, layout of room and bathroom.
Nothing The smell of the carpet in the new renovated floors, you pay 12.50 euros if you use the spa(what 5 star hotel does that??).
Location noise of the nightclub every night
Large room with King Beds and large bath with shower and amenities. Located in safe area of town . We walked to most attractions. Subway was in front of hotel - very convenient. Wonderful breakfast feast was included in our pkg. good price! Wi-fi and internet in the Hiltons was outrageously expensive. $10.40 to print check-in for air travel. We walked to Starbucks for free internet.
Executive club previleges were great.
Hotel was very well presented and we enjoyed our stay
The helpfulness of all the staff. The quality of the breakfast was excellent. Proximity to the railway station with the express connection to the airport. Within easy access to most of the top sights. The hotel bar was rather dull in the evening time, no atmosphere.
Very comfortable rooms, Very friendly & helpful staff Room was very quiet & we were able to rest when needed.
Service and flexibiliti. No.
Excellent location at th heart of the city and transport hubs. Staff friendly and helpful. Would have liked tea /coffee facility in the bedrooms.Maybe more tv and sport options like sky.
Central location so near to railway and access to tourist sites. Helpful staff. No.
Wonderful service, excellent room
Excellent hotel on a prime location. The two single bed eiderdowns (on the double bed) were a bit too short for my taste. You could clearly hear the rumble of the U-bahn below. Not something to keep you awake at night but still something to get used to.
Very good and quiet position. Staff very kind and effective. none
The close proximity to transport, airport transfer, the river and major sites. No complaints
Great location close to the heart of berlin.and very quiet. Beautiful decor and very comfortable rooms. Staff were very helpful providing local information and extra room requirements. Delicious breakfast.
Everything lived up to our expectations - from the price to the location and staff.
Nice restaurant with atmosphere Parking
Especially we were very pleased with the service of the chief Mr. Hakan Agca and on the reception Ms. Valerie .
being close to the U tub and the nice area Drink machine in room no instructions, smell in the restaurant from the toilets Used park plaza in london the standard not as good
Good location, excellent breakfast, comfortable room, friendly service
Walking distance to mitte, and the atmosphere in the neighbourhood
The hotel was a half block from the U Bahn stop. Berlin is such a huge city that this particular fact turned out to be very important. The breakfast was rather overpriced. The restaurant in general was overpriced.
Staff friendly, very clean rooms, good location - shopping and sites and restaurants within walking distance We had booked a suite however on arrival we received a standard room and could not be moved until the next day. Restaurant closed before advised time and bar unavailable after 12
the location: next to one of the main subway lines, walking distance from one of the main museum areas and city-center
Comfort, design, location, elegance, exellent food in restaurant, excludingly comfortable bed, good service
central location no coffee making facilities, no kettle
The location was optimal.Breakfast buffet was all one could ask for. The concierge Mr. Lindner was especially friendly and helpful. I definitely would choose to stay there during my next visit.
Wonderful hotel, good location, nice pool and jacuzzi
The position of the hotel We were dissappointed there was no tea and coffee facilities in hotel.
Cleanliness , friendly staff, location , breakfast /food,very helpful staff Location of the room in proximity to the elevator Not enough towels, shampoo and conditioner Paying for the internet ,( not a big deal , but the fact that it's not free is annoying!
Room service was great, location was excellent. The staff was not flexible or terribly helpful - other than the concierge. Was surprised I had to pay for wifi in a hotel of this quality.
The great location of the hotel, perfect for sightseeing and shopping. The rich breakfast, and also the helpfull staff. I think the room was a little bit small.Apar from that, all other aspects were from fine to excellent.A very nice and convienient hotel in generall
Lovely lobby, nice bath robes, the room was great! The pool staff was a bit snooty. The breakfast hostess tore up our ticket when we realized that breakfast was an additional 26 Euros per person and decided not to take it.
Comfortable room - very good service
excellent hotel in former east--good central location; staff friendly and efficient. garden view rooms are quietest and pleasant.
The location. Lack of coffee and tea making facilities in the room.
excellent friendly service gave brilliant advice on Berlin the city and what too see. the only thing but very, very minor walking to the U-Bahn and various restaurants
Sizes of the apartments and facilities provided, makes it very easy to self-cater and do washing etc
The hotel was ideally located for our needs. Staff were very friendly and the overall experience was great.
All of it! Especially being upgraded from a room to an apartment. No
The comfort of the apartment was excellent, roomy and exceptionally clean and functional. Cost of breakfast. Distance and road/sidewalk from train when traveling with luggage.
Very nice, spacious, tastefully decorated rooms. For those really looking for the apartment service, the kitchen is well equipped and stocked. Cleaning staff knocked twice the morning I was leaving to see if they could clean (isn't that what checking out is for?). Expensive internet. At the lower rate following the Berlinale film festival, I would have given higher marks for value for money, but it doubled during the festival.
Excellent location, very helpful and accommodating staff. The station is nearby as is a supermarket if you are self catering. The kitchen could be better equipped and the retaurant did not have enough staff for a busy Friday night.
Number of facilities available. The room assigned had almost no windows and the location was not good. Too far from taxi stands or subway entrances. More for tourits than business travellers.
very modern design and nice staff
Great location - many attractions within walking distance. Superior 1 bedroom apartment was spacious and very comfortable. Supermarket very close.
It was great!!! the rooms are really unique and the location is perfect. some prostitues on the street but adds to the character. the U-bahn is right there and takes you directly to checkpoint charlie. the hotel is 4 star and feels classy that my sister did not get as cool as a room for the same price
The place has style and panache plus a good location. Service is attentive.
The apples in the room and the location There was no WIFI in the the rooms. At this price range it should be standard.
It did not have a bathtub or a cabin, which made it hard to shower.
Nice and modern room with staff that Was very helpful. Excellent location. Nice bar. Tiny breakfast
Food quality, service, room standards
I found this gem onTtrip advisor & booked a triple room for my b/day weekend away with my friends. Fantastic price for a 4* hotel in the buzzing district Mitte which is near to everything! A tram stops outside the hotel & the train station is a 3 minute walk. The staff spoke fabulous english & were very helpful. Would love to visit Berlin again, will tell all my friends about this hotel! No biggie really, but you have to be careful when using the shower as the water escapes out of the wet room onto the hotels carpet. No irons in the room for saftey.
Clean, warm and welcoming. Staff helpful and polite. All facilites worked well. We quite liked the idea of "Breakfast to go" however the content was not what we would normally have for breakfast. tunafish and cucumber bagels are not appetising at that time of day. Croissant/ brioche would be a much better option ( and probably less expensive)
Room was very comfortable. Nice modern design. Seating space was excellent. Attention to detail was good. Lots of storage room. Views and windows were fantastic. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast in the hotel was very good. The bar downstairs was very cosy and the staff very helpful and friendly. Would have been better to have free Wi-Fi internet access. Air conditioning was a little noisy.
Great location, funky rooms, fantastic shower Woud have been nice to have had tea and coffee making facilities in the room
location, quiet, breakfast our second room (for our friends) was dark and small but quieter
Good location (in 3 minutes away from museums' island and Berlin's Dome), very tasty breakfasts, responsive staff
Location and price Furniture ( looks cheap)
The position of the hotel is great and the room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast we excellent.
Welcoming, very good location indeed (1 minute from S-Bahn, Hackescher Markt, Alexanderplatz, bus stops, cathedral, etc... yet extremely quiet), comfortable and quiet room. Room was a bit small, but it was a single so I'm used to this kind of thing and it was better than most.
Convenience to museums and S-bahn You insisted on 50 euros for a 2-hr delay in checkout, which we chose to avoid at great inconvenience to our departure
Very convenient for transport to sites, shopping etc. Very close to good restaurants, bars and other evening entertainment. Staff were friendly and helpful and the meal we had in the hotel was really good too.
Spacious room. Quiet. Location not quite near busy metro.
the situation, comfortable beds, clean, good breakfast and timetable
central location, reasonable price no bath tub, internet expensive
Very clean and quiet room, excellent food at the lounge/restauraunt. Room rather small, but very efficient and nice.
nö night service, no internet
Proximity of hotel to the central station, cab fare of 5euro from station to hotel. Short walk to underground station/bus/tram stop. Supermarket next door. The timing of room make up/cleaning was annoying - sign put out at 8:00am for room to be cleaned as we left to sightseeing. On return to hotel at 1:30pm for a rest the room was still not made up and was not usually done until around 4:00pm. Found this to be annoying.
friendily staff, good location. Noisy an uncomfortable sleep because of noises of the vehicles in the street
We liked the location, the relaxed atmosphere, the friendliness and smiling attitude of the staff, the very comfortable room. It is also very well situated for our purposes. We shall certainly choose your hotel again on our next visit to Berlin. Breakfast is perhaps a bit expensive - the choice of dishes is very large, and the food is excellent, that's true, but since we are small eaters ...
I like their breakfast. No
The location was great!
Central location, clean rooms, friendly staff. Small rooms, expensive wi-fi.
Close to an underground line that crosses all the others. There is a good supermarket just next door, opened till 22:00, but closed on sunday.
the location because it was near my meeting place. Bathroom was modern & goodlooking Showerplace has no door, so the whole bathroom may get wet when you take a shower.
delux room, clear, very close to the underground station (just few steps),comfortable bed...staff are helpful and polite... wi fi is not popular and limited (by request for free 1 hr). it should be free of charge as the room rate is not cheap. Even not in-room wifi, but should be free in common area.
The location is perfect. Easy access to many sights. Stadmitte U Bahn station at the doorstep. Walking distance to many historic sites and great neighborhoods. Many food options close by. Brauhaus in the complex (not in the hotel). The "hotel" has limited services and it is more of a serviced apartment setup. We discovered the mixed use complex was designed by the renowned Architect - JP Kleihues (notable buildings in the reconstructed Berlin and the Museum of Contemporary Art in Chicago). We rented a Management Suite and it worked out wonderfully for our family of 3. It was a spacious (very spacious by european standards) two room suite with separate WC and bathroom. There is a great amount of built in storage for clothes and luggage. Our unit had a nice balcony accessible from the bedroom and the living room. The unit had a kitchenette with ample dishes, fridge, microwave and dishwasher. But with so many restaurant options, why cook at home?? We arrived in Berlin quite early in the morning and pleaded with the desk to let us have our room early, but no chance. We left our bags and set out to explore in a very jet lag state. Official check-in is 15.00 so don't expect to receive your room anytime before. The staff was kind enough to offer us the lounge to relax and wait for our room. We were briefed on all of the properties services and when we were escorted to our room, our luggage was already there. This property is a very good value and suited our needs perfectly.
The stay was very pleasant, however, I do think that the breakfast was a bit overpriced. Also maybe they should have some flexibility on the check out time, not by much but by an hour or so would be great.
Everything was excellent Nothing
That's what we wanted for Berlin. All of our expectations were met !!
Superb location, spacious room, nice bed, hardly any noise from the street below. Nothing really - except that the breakfast (which was very good) perhaps was a little expensive at EUR 17. Nice view, though.
Our suite was large and very comfortable. The location was perfect for sightseeing and shopping. The staff was courteous, but didn't go out of their way to be helpful. It was only when I expressed frustration about the operating hours for the business center and laundry room, that they became more accomodating.
Quality of suite and furniture. And location was great. Staff were very helpful. Free use of the fitness centre
We enjoyed the fact that the suite was spacious and very clean. The location is perfect for a city/cultural trip. There was nothing that we did not like.
