That reception stayed open late enough to check us in at an ungodly hour considering how long it took us to find the place we were worried they would have given us room away. It's ridiculously hard to find. We picked up a rental car at the airport in record time, only to spend nearly an hour trying to find the hotel, because it is so badly marked on the side of the road. What kind of direction is "we're behind the gas station"??.
Very comfy beds Access a bit tricky off the motorway
Coffe making facilities in room were non functional and blew the electrics each time. In view of this we expected a coffee concession in the cafeteria. The reception staff were very helpful however.
Fittings and furnishings were of a high standard, everything worked, the bed was very comfortable. The location is just about the worst you can imagine -- in a semi-industrial area. Even though it's close to the airport (almost adjacent), taxis there are very expensive because they apply a minimum charge of Euro 14,50 (18,00 on weekends), and there is no alternative way of getting to the airport, e.g. bus, shuttle or train.
Easy access from motorway, and located close to airport.
The hotel may be geografically close to the airport but due to the road layout its a 10 min drive and taxi costs 20 EUR each way.
Cleanliness Very difficult to locate, I suggest a bigger/brighter sign, or better directions,
two blocks away from airport where we arrived after midnight.
The staff were very friendly and efficient. Despite being called an "Airport Hotel" it is €15 by taxi. It is located at the side of a major road with no facilities nearby. Other people in the hotel had booked directly and paid less.
Rooms were clean and big. It was very difficult to get to because of construction in the area. There was no remote for the TV in the room.
The proximity to the airport,
Near the airport. Nice host at the reception. Baby bed had a horrible matras! And please mention to take bus A or 19 from the airport and then get out at the first stop "Villa Rosa", cross the road with bridge, hotel behind fuel station.
The staff were excellent and it's proximity to the airport
I liked the room, the service and the food and the fact I could park was a joy To get to the airport, all but a 4 minute journey by road, I had to get a bus, which worked out ok, but getting a taxi from the airport costs 17 euros minimum charge. I found it best to get to central Malagaby going to the airport, and take a train which is a brilliant service.
The airco did not work so the room was too warm. The surroundings are very noisy. The staff would not agree with the original booking offer and charged us 6 euro's more.
Modern, pratik Difficult to locate by gps
Friendly staff and reasonably good amenities; no extra charges for child below 12 years; close to the airport Limited breakfast range and accessibility to the centre is not that great (even though it is indeed possible to catch a bus quite close to the hotel)
only stayed one night, could find some food around the hotel even if arrived at past 11PM. Hotel is practicle close to the airport. nice staff.Proper big TV screen I did not have any plate or anything to feed ans give water to my cat even if I wrote an Email prior to my arrival and paid an extra fee for the cat. It is bad that you cannot even buy a sandwish out of the hours.
The staff were very friendly and totally sincere and helpful. Laura who works behind the bar in the evenings was especially nice, as we were able to practise our Spanish whilst she practised her English! :) There could have been a pool.
Friendly, helpful staff. Very comfortable room. Good food.
Location was ascetic.
very clean and efficient. staff very helpful. access to golf course was excellent a large shopping mall 10 minute walk away and the main beach and bars only 10 mins in a taxi . the proximity to the airport makes it ideal for a quick break
We needed a place to stay near the airport in Malaga to meet friends arriving the next day. Parador de Malaga Golf Resort can't be beat for that. Breakfast was included and was truly wonderful -- the best of our trip. Room had a patio with a view of the sea. If we had time we would have played golf on the great looking course. The rooms are arranged in a double deck horseshoe around well manicured grounds with a swimming pool in the middle and the Mediterranean at the open end. One last point -- I lost my mobile phone just before checking out and the concierge called my wife several hours after we departed to notify us that it was found. Can't think of anything negative to write.
It's a real gem hidden on the Costa Del Sol! Great golf course, fab rooms and relaxing hotel grounds - clean and modern with excellent view from the rooms - golfcourse - beach & sea - pool. The food is authentic Andalusian - with a breakfast buffet well worth even 5 stars! The beach is 2 minutes walk from pool. A very relaxing part of the beach as well. It will take you 50 minutes to walk along the beach down to the very busy Torremolinos area if you get bored of the beautiful Parador surroundings - you soon want to return to the oasis:-) If you crave shopping while staying at Parador Malaga Golf, there is no need to travel by train to Malaga - everything you need is to be found in the gigantic shoppingcentre outside the hotelgrounds - 15 minutes walk. I will definitely come back to Parador Malaga Golf! A bit of noise from the ariport - however that is something one get used to very fast. Very handy being only 3 km from the airport - and the taxi spent only 15 minutes to get there - cost 15 euro! In other words, no need to rent a car if you are golfing at the Parador Golf Course.
Quite relaxed hotel, good room, good breakfast, close to beach, free parking. Amateur bar staff. Could not serve good quality food apart from very nice olives. Airport is very close but was ok.
Beautiful hotel area with lots of different birds, clean and spacious rooms with sea view, close to the beach, excellent breakfast. The hotel is located close to the Malaga airport, so taking off planes are passing dirctly above the hotel with the associated noise. However, it is not that bad. Plus there is no air traffic at night.
The food was very nice and the setting relaxing There is no pickup/drop off service from/to airport which is only 3km away (and costs 20 euro by taxi). There is also no close public transport if you want to travel into the city. A good hotel if you want to play golf and not do any sightseeing or dining in the city
golf course you cant sleep after 5 am, hotel is practicaly on the airport, the noise is impossible
Good food check in staff didn't help my 70yr old mother with her luggage and our room was a long walk
excellent rooms, all with sea view, beach right next to the hotel, excellent golf course and tennis courts. very modern. 5 mins from the airport it is in the flight path but that really did not bother me...one plan maybe every 10-15 mins. Nothing at night
We stayed at the newer left wing, our room was spacious and had a view on the golf course. Bed was very comfortable, bathroom was large and well equipped, mini-bar was fully stocked. Excellent choices at breakfast. 3 mins drive to the beach and boardwalk where you could get a decent and good meal. If you have car rental and an early flight the next morning, this will be the ideal hotel. The recept charged us eur10 extra on our room rate, which was confirmed by the booking. She rectified it after we pointed out the error. The last plane flew over our hotel at around 1am, and the first one around 6am. If you don't mind the noise and a short night sleep, then it would be fine.
