Really pleased that we chose Atlas Targa & Resort. The hotel is very clean and modern. We layed by the pool everyday which was always sunny and always had spare sunbeds. The bar menu is small but the food is good. The breakfast and evening buffet were also good. We found most of the staff friendly especially Briam who was fantastic and acted like a Concierge for us. The hotel is out of town but we didn't find this a problem because the shuttle bus is reliable if you check times with the hotel and when the bus isn't running taxi's are cheap. The forth bed in the room is small and more like a sofa. They were a bit slow to replenish stocks in the room and kept forgetting to bring extra towels. They were slow to bring food and rarely had any change for notes but we found this everywhere we went in Marrakech.

Great new hotel with very good rooms and reasonable rates. Great for the family. Has a shuttle to pick drop from hotel to city. Excellent helpful staff and was great value for money.
Most of the staff fantastic, especially the Animation team and the kids club - always willing to amuse the children. Reliable shuttle bus into town. Good swimming pools, and overall a well designed hotel, particularly given the limited choice of family friendly hotels in Marrakech. Restaurant and general management was poor. The restaurant /bar ran out of Ice Cream, Water, and Milk at various times during our stay.Most evenings a fairly mediocre buffet was served, the one evening that the a la carte menu was used there was only one waiter. The pool tables never had any balls or cues, the table tennis tables were rarely up, the transfer from the airport didn't show up, the air con was poor.... a lot of minor problems that mounted up unnecessarily.
Our room was comfortable and clean. The hotel itself and pool area are lovely. It could be great if it wasn't ran so badly. The service is appalling. 4 requests for towels, 3 requests for water. Stale milk in the breakfast room which I and others pointed out and yet never was removed. The food is extremely limited and cold. The pool side music is so loud we were shouting to each other on our loungers. The disco at night is so loud even though our room was the furthest from the disco we could still hear it. Nobody speaks english and all the menus for lunch are in French. Complained to several managers about the appalling service and they looked at us with blank expressions and did nothing. We left after 2 days into a 5 day stay. They tried to charge us for the phonecall to make a reservation at an alternative hotel. Avoid.
The customer services was great, the food was good and the weather was fabulous more people visiting the resort to make sure there is enough to do like animation etc...
The hotel has a very fine and modern look, while still making use of the traditional styles. We loved the feel of luxury as we walked into reception. Kept spotlessly clean everywhere (rooms, reception, gardens and pool). At the rate paid, an excellent deal, (110 Euros per night halfboard for a family of four). Food perhaps not always of highest standard, but certainly pleasant. Vegetarian choice maybe limited, but staff have been responsive and without request prepared a dish for us that had not been available the previous day. Choice some days better than others (2nd November 2010 we had the best choice and quality). Most staff very pleasant, particularly entertainment. Entertainment well organised. Bus service very useful and reliable. The volume of the music around the pool perhaps too high. The music a bit repetitive. Good leisure facilities, but I imagine it gets crowded when hotel is full. Tennis good, but the equipment really poor compared to the standard of fittings around the place. Fantastic spa, but I didn't use due to price. Nice items in shop, but pricy.
The hotel is new so the building and the facilities and in very good shape, the complex is very well done, the pool and its view is beautiful; the rooms were very nice designed and comfortable! We took to rooms. On one of the rooms, who found two big spiders inside the blankets. The hotel people came when we called them and we got a different room instead. The Buffet breakfast was so-so. It could be a lot better.
The pool, the staff (especially the young ones), the design and the place. Only the flies inside the room was a little bit annoying. The hotel needs to do something.
The clean and bright resort, very friendly staff. Breakfast was excellent. Didn,t take American Express. When i booked my stay i thought i was already charged my Amex. but it wasn,t and i had to go to town centre and withraw money to pay bill. Lack of english language with the staff was a problem.
