Staff was very polite, willing to help, and resourceful. none
Very supportive stuff
The cleanliness of the room, convenient location 2 minutes from the Metro, our room's balcony
They arranged a room for us at the Holiday Inn at no additional cost. When i got there they told me that the floor my room was in had water damage, and that they didn't have a room for us. The Holiday Inn was very nice, but would have been cheaper than what I already paid for this room in advance.
Facilities such as the bar and restaurant were very good. the service were excellent and good vegetarian options in the restaurant. There was no public transport to the airport but taxi fare was reasonable.
The main advantages of this hotel are the following: 1) rooms elegant and very confortable; 2) the location of this hotel is strategic and very close to the underground and metro station in order to get any destination; 3) the staff was very professional and friendly; 4) the restaurant, located in this hotel, offers a good menu inherent to international and indian food; 5) very late check-out.
The person that has checked me in vas very frendly...
The best thing about this hotel is its location, just opposite a train station, and 3 minutes from the underground. The bedroom was very clean and comfortable, and it was quite quiet too
very good breakfast, good price for value
Great hotel in prime location. Friendly and professional staff.
The room was very confortable, with a pleasant decoration. The breakfast was very good. The Roma metro station is near the hotel. In the breakfast, the coffee and hot milk are served from a machine.
I like the location - near metro Roma, the breakfast is really good and around the hotel are shops and restaurants, Wi - Fi free in the room.
reception staff were not particularly efficient with regard to telephone usage from the room
(1) proximity to airport, (2) across the street from the metro station, (3) taxi stop outside lack of proper soundproofing from clients talking on the hallway.
Eveything was fine, Staff helpful The swimmingpool to small
1. High standard of cleanliness of the hotel. 2. Convenience to the Metro and within walking distance of the places we needed to contact during our stay. 1. A bedroom not overlooking the railway would have been quieter ! 2. The lifts were slow responding to calls and appeared overworked at peak times i.e. breakfast time.
Location and price Everything was OK.
friendly people nothing
Spacious, clean room. Close to the airport, easy to catch the metro to the city centre too. Good low-budget hotel for a short night or 2 trip. Staff´s english was poor. Hotel was also a bit old / old-fashioned.
I asked a quiet room and they gave me the one. Many groups stay this hotel. So you better ask a quiet room when you check in, and go earlier at the breakfast. or you'll suffer from them.
Pleasant staff and a relaxed atmosphere
Room was clean and large Breakfast was horrible and staff was disinterested.
Breakfast to soft beds.
Location near the city center. Very good rooms and breakfast.
clean, good facilities, helpful staff
Hospitality of the staff None
Location Unfriendly staff. Paid Internet access only
The room was large and clean. The beds were a good size. The swimming pool was tiny and shallow. The gym only had 3 things and one of them was broken. The tv, in our room, was broken when we arrived. Pillows and mattress on bed were hard as rock. Light creeps in from under the door. Ceiling would rattle when other guests closed their doors. Walls not as soundproof as advertised. Location in city is far from any decent selection of restaurants or bars.
Subway and busses at walking distance The swimming pool is very small, without towels service No shampooing in bathroom
convenient location, large beds
Very confortable and well equipped room.
Reception staff was unusually helpful, friendly and service-minded. Good breakfast. Carpet in room was grotty.
everything was fine and i had a pleasant stay.
I liked the location. It was near a mall, with a food court and a grocery store, and also near bus lines and metro terminals. We appreciated the breakfast included in the rate. Room was small. Internet connection was weak.
Very good price (I payed 50 euros per night). Near metro station. Clean room-comfortable beds and helpful staff. Nothing at all. If i go to Lisbon again i will stay in Alif Campo Pequeno for sure.
combination of price and quality
The staff, they was very nice people, always intent to help you. the furniture from the rooms are very old, and the bath too
Good location for airport and city center
There was mold on the tile in the bathroom, otherwise the room was fine.
Location, and price-quality relation.
location, and closeness to metro bed linen and towels could of been of better quality
cheap, clean,Metro is located right outside the door and gets you downtown in minutes.Public parking is 2 blocks away and about 5 euros a day. the staff was very helpful. The bed was very hard to us and there was alot of street noise in the morning..
Close to the airport, good hotel generally.. The hot water didnt work, but it was a unlucky mecanical fault, the hotel was not to blame.. And unfortunally the hotel was overbooked so we couldnt change room.
the bathroom was clean, and it is close to the airport and has a nice restaurant downstairs. staff pleasant but very expensive for what you get no airconditioning, smelly room. very basic and not good value for money. there are much better hotels in the same price range
Quiet and comfortable. Having to go to the next door cafe for breakfast. The breakfast was poor.
I like that the rooms are very clean and orderly. The staff are very professional. The prices have gone up a lot in the past few years. It's true that they have done lots of renovations but the cost is starting to outweigh the value.
good connection facilities - metro station just a few steps outside of hotel some persons of staff were not really helpfull, probably because of language barrier. however, the lady at reception on my last visit day was really helpfull and friendly, so that's why my impressions on hotel staff are mixed.
location/price construction going on
Very close to Metro system. Adequate buffet breakfast in cafe right next door to hotel. Comfortable room. Due to position of room, we could hear air conditioning coming on in the building next door each morning around 7a.m. Some building work going on in front of the Residencial. Hairdryer in room would have been nice.
Intitial room was very small and brown water flowed from tap. Staff witnessed it and moved me to a good room. Brown water running from the tap and couchy smell due to lack of ventilation
Cleaness! The elevator! It doesn't go in all steps!
Rooms were kept very clean and over all, for an old building, the electricity and air conditioning functioned in all areas except for the breakfast area. The location next to the Areeiro metro stop was super convenient and there were several restaurants nearby within walking distance. I felt that the area and our rooms were very safe and secure - in this part of Lisbon and in the hotel itself. The rooms were way too small...there was barely any room to walk between the end of the beds and the wall. No place to put luggage besides on the floor which cramped the room even more. When we asked to be moved to another room, with more space, we were given a nasty look by the lady behind the desk. All of the hotel staff were nice with the exception of the one woman - who also put up a nasty fuss when I asked to be moved to a single room. She gave me some strange explanation about how changes had to be made with Bookings while Bookings told me other wise. When I asked the same question to the man who worked at night, he fixed the situation immediately. So, overall, my experience was great but the woman was so odd and nasty about helping us, with responses like "its not that simple", I just avoided asking for anything when she was working. The breakfast selection was good but repetitive and the milk always tasted burned. The breakfast room was way too hot.
The breakfast is good. The floor of the room is dirty and I even found some hair in it. The linens too are not clean and the room very uncomfortable.
The breakfast was excellent. There was a wide choice of foods as well as fresh fruit. The location. Although it was right by a metro station, you had to change trains to get to the more interesting park of downtown. Also, if you went by bus, you had to change in an undesirable part of town.
The room was very comfortable. There was complete silence while I slept. I did not notice any restaurant in the hotel. So, I decided to eat across the street on the corner. I was well received in that restaurant. The food was excellent and at a good price.
The proximity to the Metro station and to the airport. The room we stayed in was quite big with two windows. Breakfast should be improved, there were no hot meat dishes. The tiles in the bathroom should be replaced because they were covered with mold.
Hotel is very close to the Instituto Superior Tecnico (Technical University of Lisbon), which is good if that is your location of interest. Also, the metro station is in front of the hotel door, serving two metro lines: one to the center, and one to the Park of Nations (Expo 98 location) - six stops to each location. Not very far from the airport (10-15 min by taxi, cca 10 EUROs). No complaints.
Good location, right above the metro station - 2 lines, also bus stop close to the hotel. Great view from the hotel room (8th floor) - can see down to the centre. Very nice staff at the reception desk - at any time, got city map and recommendations for city trip. Internet available for free in the lobby. Noise from the metro. After dark there were strange individuals along the avenue but had no problem with them. Bit far from the city centre (3-4) km - not in a walking distance.
access to the metro , free internet in rooms, breakfast provided a good variety
The courtesy of the staff is outstanding. They offered a lower price than the one given at the booking. When I asked for an early breakfast, they served it without hesitation.
breakfast, transportation, near to the airport
Nice & cheap hotel 10 min from baixa by metro 1 lift for 1 person. My and next room was separated only by door
The price and the breakfast The room was very small...
The hotel is near center, the metro station is close to hotel... rooms were very clean and every day we had a new towels which we didn't expect because of lower prize The hotel don't have a car parking. And it's very hard to find a free parking place (especially if you stay more days there) because all around the hotel is parking you need to pay. We had a luck because a whole street has broken machines for parking tickets and we didn't have to pay! :)
very few people there, quiet and easy sharing of bath; good breakfast included some broken bath fixtures
the location yes the staf didnt help alot , and they dont even have someone to hold the luggage
Furniture in room very old. Lift not suitable for more than one person.
The bathroom is very small and the air conditioner is noisy.
All hotel staff are friendly, responsive and attentive.Public areas well-presented, Location perfect for us.Quiet. The lower floors have obviously been modernised, but the top floors are wooefully inadequate even for the price. The bathrooms are old and impoverished; showers do not function properly and baths are impossible. This needs addressing immediately. I would be happy to recommend a plumber. The lift is unnerving but especially with no light.
Its a ok hotel in the good location but poor food its have very nice squere nere by.
The location and the view Cleanliness and no clean towels
they had two types of cereal for breakfast The room we were given this time was disgustingly reeking of smoke, even opening the window and the door wouldn't make any difference. The sheets stank of smoke too and were crumpled, maybe they didn't change them. When we asked for another room the guy at the reception mildly apologised and sayed that there weren't any (???) and gave us new clean sheets we had to change ourselves. We did'n even get a discount for the discomfort.
Resonable price. Quiet neighborhood. Clean room. Helpfull staff. Close to the airport. Good connection with other parts of Lisbon (three lines of metro close to the hotel).
quiet, good location there are no bathroom amenities (just soap and a tiny shower gel), poor breakfast (no fresh fruit and iogurt), poor view from bedrooms
The staff was very friendly and helpful. One man went to extra trouble to arrange an out-of-city tour for me. My room was modern, clean and quiet.
Decent breakfast, satellite tv and bathtub aseptic rooms, no character watsoever
cleanlinnes of the room no
Quiet room, quite close to 3 metro stations, good breakfast
The hotel is an excellent value for the price. It is clean and the rooms are large by European standards. The hotel was within easy access (by metro) of both the tourist areas of Lisbon and the business district, and it has a variety of information about Lisbon available for guests. The staff are helpful, even at the earliest hours of the morning, and the hotel has a decent continental breakfast. I would stay here again. The pillows are uncomfortable as they are covered with a plastic liner. Anyone planning to stay at this hotel, should bring their own.
Very clean and convenient location. Room is very quiet. Excellent free wi-fi service. Good included breakfast given the daily rate.
The personal was very helpfull and kind The size of the double room was small, the bathroom was OK. There was also not enough light in the room. Not enough light bulbs.
was near to the metro stop and to the bus n° 22 for the airport, the staff was very helpfull. the breakfast was from 8.10 a.m to 10.00 a.m, but we must go to the airport at 7 a.m and so I'can't do breakfast in hotel...the room was so small and the bathroom was not comfortable (wc was very close to the sink)
Very good cost-benefit. Located in a residencial area. Our room was on the first floor facing the street and we didn´t have any problem with noise.
Clean hotel, helpful staff, good breakfast, easy access to public transportation, coming from airport by bus 22 it's easy to reach the hotel.
Clean, comfortable, friendly, well-located
That it was very short. We stayed at 5 different hotels while touring Portugal, including one other one in Lisbon, and Residencial Delta was the most poorly kept and the most poorly located, and yet it was the most expensive (65 euros vs. 35, 40, & 45). I would have expected a hotel the quality of Res. Delta to only cost 30 euros; a dive like that should not be charging as much as they do.
Bed was comfortable. Large room. Overall cleanliness of the building left a lot to be desired.
Staffs were nice and helpful
Thу view from the balcony We had to run hot water it for 15 minutes to get it warm enough to take a shower, and still water pressue was very low. But for the price of the accomodation, and all the rest being nice, I didn't have much problem with that.
Excellent staff, good location. The older of the two elevators was not safe for younger children.
Place near the centre
Great Value, friendly staff, very clean! little bit outside of downtown but a short 10 min walk.
Even though the hotel was a bit outside the city centre but it was located at a convenience location, close to the metro, banks and shops. Good value for the money.
Kindly staff, worth the price. Noisy rooms, the furnitures are old.
clean room, comfort, no possibility of having breakfast,no shampoo,no hairdryier
Spacious room Absence of air conditioning
We think this is a very nice place. Friendly staaf, good service, a common living room, small breakfast, kithcen facilities, very nice bathrooms even if not in the room.
Nice large showers, relaxed atmosphere and breakfast until 1 pm.
The relaxed friendly atmosphere, and the way you could help yourself to facilities in the apartment at any time. would have preferred to have a key for the bedroom door
Perfectly organised and managed, very quiet and peaceful. Very close to the Metro station of Saldanha. Great value for money. Breakfast was just basic.
Very nice and friendly staff, clean, spacious rooms, wonderful atmosphere, good location.
Kindness of personnel, clean and cool atmosphere. It's a four-room apartment, so it's difficult to socialize. There is no reception , so it's quite difficult to find the personal, in case you need any help or information. Not in a walk-distance from the center.
Nice area, very clean, renovated Very bad sound insulation. Could hear every body walking in doorway with bags and talking in low voice. Aloso a 2Euro extra tax on arrival ????? Why? And if you don't have a phone to call on arrival, you will be stuck on the sidewalk for a while as the place is not identified in a large bulding. Just press on every door bell and you might get the door to open!
