Staff was friendly This is not a hotel, nor a bed and breakfast and not even an airbnb type of place. It's a mix and there's the problem. They rent out rooms of an apartment as individual hotel rooms, with common space between all guests. Feels like a dorm. Obviously, one can hear what the neighbors are doing and it can get embarrassing. if you are okay with such a set up, then sure go for it but I as per my research (which I did later), there are plenty more lodging options in Rome for cheaper price ranges. Staff is friendly and the place itself is very clean. However, they do not have staff on the property, so you might have to wait for them to show up if your timing gets changed.
no free internet conection
Delicious brealfast with a good variety, The ladies in the breakfast-room very nice and polite. The reception area ibbeing recinstructed but still works fine. the people very nice and helpful The internet did not work and it was very bad because it was a business trip. The room was too hot and it was not possible to change the floor heat. I had to have the window open, but it is quite noisy outside,
good position if you have business in that area of the city. the daytime front desk staff is very friendly and helpful, but the night porter was rude, unhelpy, unfriendly and absolutely arrogant.
only breakfast! the room,
New, modern but cosy hotel, 3 stars but could qualify for 4, nice lobby and breakfast area, newly renovated rooms, excellent breakfast, competent staff, 15 minutes walk from the nearest metro station. The hotel was undergoing a renovation while we stayed there (october 2010) - rooms had already been finished but the hallways were not done yet. It caused some inconvenience but no noise.
I liked the breakfast team and the breakfast itself, the chef Irma was fantastic: competent and friendly!!! In general, my staying there was pleasant, the room was cosy, spacy and clean. I would suggest only to refresh mineral water everytime it is finished.
The breakfast and the staff The general state of the room - broken mirror, dirty fridge, no air conditioning, damaged bath.
Great staff, excellent served breakfast choices eat all you can everything is exellent....I love to stay there again
The hotel was ok: Clean, beautiful room. The breakfast... was gorgeous! A wide range of variety! The location is not the best, but it's not a big problem. The metro station is about 15 minutes from the hotel on foot, or 8 minutes by bus ( number of 341/ 311) 10-12 stations with the metro, and you are in the downtown. The whole journey is about 35-40 minutes.
We have only one night in B&B Earnest hostel, it's very nice. It is not far from the Tiburtina train station. If you wait, you can take one bus 111 with two stations, but we would like to go on foot always, it takes only 10 minutes. Of course, you must remember the street's name, the room's floor and tell staff when you arrive. It's very important, because nobody waiting you 24 hours. The room is very nice and big, which likes it's photos in website. Anyway, it's value and nice. Only one thing that the temper of shower water not very stably. But it's OK.
The staff suggested great nearby dining location. More specifically, extremely helpful in arranging a tour of the Vatican. It was our first visit to Rome and we had not any idea what the area might be like. Lets just say, the hotel is a pearl in a sea of litter! We will recommend the hotel, but warn associates and friends of what to expect from the area. Looks were extremely deceiving and we safely walked to a nearby restaurant, gellateria and piazza. Great experience. Great city!
Hotel is as it is described on booking.com. Breakfast was self service with assortment to choose big enough (English & Continental). In bathroom there was a whirlpool bathtub. A bit noisy air condition.
Friendly russian-speaking personnel was a good surprise, good price for the Christmas season Not really a four-star, too cold at night and a poor wardrobe in the room; takes a bus ride to the nearest subway station
Big rooms, lcd tv, clean room Yes, noise in the morning 7 am as construction workers were tearing appart some walls in the hotel (renovation)
Free parking, free wi-fi, nice room Not excellent location (overcrowded buses to metro, then 5 or more stations to the center). Somewhat unhelpful staff (didn't give full directions on how to get to the center by public transportation).
Clean, modern room, including bathroom. Close to bus, but a bit far out of the city centre. No restaurant, although the front desk staff was helpful in organizing pizza delivery.
The staff was friendly, helpful, and spoke English well. The rooms were clean and comfortable. For the purpose of sightseeing in Rome on somewhat of a budget, we did not find its location to be nearly as convenient as suggested on the web page. It's true that it is "just" two bus stops away from a major subway/train station, but as somewhat spoiled Americans with very limited Italian, we found the whole bus/metro commute to downtown Rome to be daunting at first; the bus and metro were very crowded much of the time; and that made arriving and departing with luggage (and without a car) a hassle. The neighborhood outside the hotel was primarily residential and not tourist-friendly. It was a nice place to stay but not the best choice for our purposes.
We really liked the cleanliness of the hotel and kindness of hotel staff. The location was not great. There was no internet access. Eventhough we liked the hotel, we had to find another hotel with the internet access...They said they had some problem with that, however the staff helped us to find another hotel nearby with the internet access.
Friendly staff, good services. Could be a bit less expensive, but overall is ok. Clean rooms, wifi included. A bit far from the city center.
great receptionists - helpful, careful, friendly
Rooms are great. Electronic safe and use of fridge is for free (I saw it for a charge in other hotels!!). Hotel atmosphere is good and consistent with its 4 stars rating. Free Wi-Fi internet is included and comes in handy as usual. The comfort level of the hotel is great. Absolutely terrible location!! Do not even think of going there if you don't have your own car at least to drive to the metro station. If you are lucky, it will take you 20 min just to get to the metro station + 15 min to get to the city center. If you are unlucky, that could take up to 45 min + 15 min!! Hotel has a free shuttle but it only goes at 8:30 A.M. and that's it!! Furthermore, the neighborhood of the hotel is not nice. General recommendation: If you only care for the comfort level of the hotel, then the hotel is great, but if distance traveled and convenience counts for you, then stay away from it.
Free private garage to park you car. Brand new hotel. Nice room Shower coming only from the top. No bathtuub. Poor breakfast. Metro station is some 10 minutes by car and you can leave the car there (parking station just renewed).
Very modern clean excellent breakfast frıendly staff large rooms couldn´t ask for any better takes about 45 minutes to old part of Rome by transıt
The hotel staff were fantastic. They anticipated my every need and ensured my stay at Hotel Degli Imperatori was delightful. Proximity to Rome was farther than I expected, but transportation was easily available.
Very kind staff, hotel is quite new and modern, perfect if you're in Rome by car. The Wi-Fi in the rooms was not working. Internet connection is one of the 'must-be' I always check when choosing an hotel.
Quiet and good for business with someone could pick you up only. Nightmare for non-experienced visitors withour any traffic options like rent-cars.. Far far away from the metro....
The Staff were absolutely stunning - nothing was too much trouble.
Internet access available for EUR 5 Shower head is fixed to the wall, hair dryer is very poor for anyone with long hair
The room was well cleaned, and during the stay was very quiet. breackfast was good. almost 2 km far from metro stops. but there are some buses for that
It is very quiet for resting. And all the furnishings are quite new. The room lightenings are equipped well. They offered 60 € for cost of shuttle to airport; almost as another room price!
Hotel reception is good Breakfast to be improved, like fruits and cakes to be provided.
It was easy to find for someone that has never been to Rome. I arrived at Termini station and took the blue line to Rebibbia which is the last stop. Then as you come out of the subway you just walk straight out of the subway about 400 meters to the hotel. The first night I got a horrid cold and I almost associated it with the cleanliness of the room. After a couple of days, and some medicine, I cleared up and had no more problems. However, for those couple of days the smokers in adjacent rooms drove my sinuses crazy. I am not a smoker and was not thrilled about staying in such close proximity to smokers.
Good , may be break fast menu can be improved. close to metro station.
Close to the metro Cold floor. Noise during the night. Poor breakfast
It was ok,the staff was nice and it is close to a metro station, but it takes at least 9 stops to get to the center of rome...
Friendly helpful staff, clean room, high ceiling, quiet, convenient location Soft bed
The hotel is close to the metro station and good value for money
great free breakfast nice city view from private balcony free shuttle to metro station fridge wifi sucks big time, don't expect to look up anything more than email, thats all the wifi is good for
That breakfast was from 6am to 10 am. And you had choices. Staff was always keeping food fresh You had to get a new pass word ever 3 hrs for free internet, for each device. The pool was additional money to use and closed early. The bed was not comfortable. TV only had 2 channels in English, and movies where extra money to see English
nothing didn't get Queen size bed service was horrible, shuttle service was horrible, staff was horrible, then they was trying charge me a tax not related to the hotel.
