Quality of Accommodation Disappointed pool was closed but understand it was due to anticipated weather conditions
This is a luxury hotel in a quiet neighborhood with a view of the Vatican and a professional staff. This hotel has changed. No doorman most of the time does not make a 5 star hotel. Very coarse bed linens and flat pillows. No clock or radio in room, no candy left at turn down and no wine, Proseco or fruit upon arrival but prices are higher. No newspaper in English. This hotel seems to be fading out of favor by raising prices and reducing costs by eliminating the personal touches that were so prominent previously. We have referred many American travelers over the years to this hotel but no longer feel it is the special place that it once was.
The pool is a great feature of the hotel. Without it the hotel would sink a bit in esteem. The roadside balconies, the construction that was ongoing.
We stayed in a deluxe room and we loved it. The wi-fi should be free, but we already knew it wasn't...
Spa is excellent, though paying €8 for a swimming cap annoying in the extreme! Wearing it even more so. Proximity to Villa Borghese a real plus. Nothing
Room design and balcony give comfort
quiet location, comfortable reception area, bedroom satisfactory, staff mostly helpful. poor breakfast, not 5 star.Had changed booking dates, with cheaper rate for new dates-hotel attempted to charge more expensive rate.Overall felt overpriced for facilities, perhaps better during summer months when pool and gardens open.
large, comfortable and very clean room, lovely linnens, friendly staff
We chose Parco die Principi primarily for the location, which is right next to Borghese Park and close to some other principal sights in Rome (Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps, etc., which were by the way mobbed, even in October.) The hotel is beautiful, the rooms very luxurious. We did not use any of the facilities. For such a high-end hotel, we thought breakfast was very sparse, poor selections, nothing you wouldn't see at a hotel half the price. We were also not happy with the concierge service; they could not offer any advice on tours other than a single company, and were no help at all in arranging transportation to Civitavecchia, which I finally arranged on my own.
The Hotel is very well decorated and lightened. From the door the hotel stuff make you feel comfortable with a professional intimacy. The restaurant and SPA Center are both above standart. I dont know, maybe I was so happy that everything looked me marvelious. :) No.
Beautiful hotel with outdoor pool Too far removed from most sightseeing areas. Will need to take Taxi or walk far to reach city center
Neighbourhood, comfort Not applicable
The hotel was very comfortable and the buffet breakfast was one of the best we had in Italy. Although the hotel was not in the center of Rome, the bus system was great and there was no problem getting around. The grounds were lovely, but it was raining so we did not get to take advantage of sitting outside. A highly recommended hotel.
Very rude staff, told me that if they see an extra person, a man coming to my Single room, will call the police!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Added extra service to my bill, service- which I never recieved. asked me to leave my passport with them for a night!!!! Location- far away from the centre!
helpful and polite staff, cozy rooms, nice district better AC
Good value for the money. Great breakfast. Fairly quiet, yet just a quick bus ride away from train station. Staff at reception willing to help; they made an effort to change us from a standard double room to one with two twin beds. Nice interior gardens and nice sitting rooms in the lobby. Nothing serious.
Good breakfast/ confortable mattress/ nice decoration in the hotel (nice furniture)/ excellent price (80€) vs quality / close to the bus station with different bus lines , ( 15mn to go downtown in bus) / or 10mn from the metro by walking (then 5mn to go downtown)
Hotel Fenix has a very friendly staff (English speaking). They even rescued us from a cab driver attempting to scam us.
breakfast excellent, courteous staff. room very hot and as it faced the main road was too noisy to have window open, air con not on as it was november
Convenient to public transport into Rome, Friendly staff, Great hours for breakfast, good sized room, room clean and presented to an excellent standard. Frustrating trying to communicate - with exception of desk staff, not much English spoken. Fee for onsite parking. Hotel on corner of busy road (Noise level okay as long as windows are kept shut).
The friendly staff and convenient location The hotel bar was a little small but again very friendly staff
The hotel was modern in design. The location wasn't really close to any of the Rome sites and a 10 minute walk to the nearest metro. The internet access was only in the lobby and for 30 minutes. It would be more convenient in the room and for a longer period of time.
Great Breakfast, and the room was very comfortable Internet was not free.
I liked the room design. I liked the inclusion of the breakfast in the fee of the stay. The breakfast was good. The business center was cold. The air conditioning was too strong. The computer did't work.I had to to do my check in online and there was no alternative. Only a "sorry"..... I didn't like, according to the fee I payed for the room and staying 4 days, that I to pay the internet access. You could simply restrict the access for 15 min, so people don´t occupy the only computer for hours, but no need to be payable!
Very well-located, clean & well-kept. Overall, decent value for money. The staff were not informative and did not seem to have basic info (regarding nearby bus/metro options).
Rooms were comfortable and the location was excellent. Staff was helpful and airport transportation was easily arranged. As of now, there is an overcharge of more than $800 which we are trying to get corrected. My answer to the next question depends on whether this gets corrected.
The hotel accomodations were wonderful.Breakfast was delicious and the room was very clean. The staff was so-so. There were times I felt as though I was an inconvenience to them.
A/C horrible. Poor after hour meal service !!! Access to hotel lobby somewhat complicated due to structural design
Attractive degian hotel, but location is not convinient wi-fi service is free, but desk-top services are not free. And some people of reception desk is not kind.
The hotel has new modern style. Liked more the bathroom which is the best compare to other Rome hotel. Very cheap wifi (10 euro for 24 hours). You have to bring with you cotton for your eras if you wanna sleep during a day!!!! The hotel located in very nosy main street & some room there's no cafee maker!!!
Location is great. Breakfast and staff were very good. 7 minutes away from the hop on hop off bus stop. No close vendors nearby. You need to walk about 5 minutes to the closest one. Which was fine. When you enter the hotel from the street you need to take the stairs to the receiption. There is an elevator but not directly in front of you.
we really liked the design of the hotel and the rooms, the fact that it was all allergy free and that there is paeking, even though it's entrance is very bad. the cleanliness was horrible, and the staff was very unpleasent and unfriendly. the entrance is not very practical specially if you have luggage, you have to wait in the street for the concierge to come and help you.
Eventhough the breakfast room is small (sometimes some guests had to wait for max 5 minutes to get a table for breakfast), the breakfast-staffs (the ones who organized the breakfast) were really tried their best to do their duties during the breakfast time. I appreciate their work. Me and my family (four of us) we stayed in quadruple room. Unfortunately in the first day, the toillet amenities (towels, tissues etc) were prepared only for 2 people. And also in the next days there was only one small bottle of soap (which just enough for 1 people). About the internet facilities, unlike some hotels in Spain, it was not free of charge ( they should have mentioned it before in advance that we had to pay an additional charge in order to get the internet connection in the room).
Was a really nice hotel for our family trip to Rome...the rooms were spacious and very clean. There was no noise to speak of during the night,as you are in a more residential area. It's a 10 minute walk to Termini station, just 4 stops from most of the major tourist points. The metro is very easy to use and isn't too crowded most of the time. We had a great stay here and loved every moment...parking was also easy and not too expensive but do reserve a space when you are booking the hotel, if possible. We had dinner in the restaurant a couple of times and it was really great, as was the selection at breakfast. Would stay here again anytime!
Clean, bright, spacious room. Good air conditioning and TV. Breakfast was excellent. Excellent value. Internet was down the entire 3 days I was there, and staff was completely unapologetic or helpful about it. In general, front desk staff was terse, not very friendly, but that seems to be the norm. Waitress at dinner spoke no English, but was very nice and we got by.
we were very impressed with the hotel, the staff couldn't do enough for us, they were knowledgeable about Rome and gave good advice about getting around, places to eat etc. There were lots of extra touches e.g. sweets on the counter, fruit juices and coffee in Reception and tea and coffee available in the rooms. The room was of an excellent standard and we had clean linens every day. We would recommend this hotel highly. We had read that the area the hotel was in i.e. the University district was not always safe, we didn't find this the case at all in fact we enjoyed the upbeat feel.
It was clean and comfortable, the breakfast was ideal to start the day. No hot water before 6am.
Good price, decent room Found some hair on the towel ...
Very clean room, value for money, great breakfast slightly distant location
We thought it was excellent for our trip to Rome.Very friendly and helpful staff.Could not be faulted.Thank you.
Buffet Awfully noisy air conditioning. Very small room.
Hotel staff were very helpfull and welcoming
Not much.. The location was not convenient for tourists. It was not a 4 star hotel by any means. I'd give it a 3. The first room we stayed in was so small that two people could not move around and the bathroom seemed old and not so clean. The staff was unfriendly. They gave half responses to questions, would not help us find alternative transportation services to the airport for example because they only worked with one service, and the breakfast was horrible. We stayed at 2 star hotels that had a much better breakfast.
Location- near the company office I was visiting very old style, not enough light in the room, digital thermostat's buttons were missing so I could not change the temperature of the room- basically hotel needs renovating, also breakfast room service never came
good breakfast and location of the hotel staff of the reception is not always welcoming the clients
Great room, nice breakfast There was a bad smell in the bathroom
clean, price OK poor choice of breakfast food
decent place, decent location very expensive, not worth the price
-close to a grocery store (good for buying cheap water and wine) -less touristy area -very clean -friendly staff -comfortable bed -best "included breakfast" I've had in Italy. nice spread of fresh fruit, eggs, beacon, cured meats +cheese, pastries. Orange +pineapple juice + water -overall value wasn't there for me. We stayed at much better Airbnbs and other hotels with AC, just as clean, better locations and more useful staff for a fraction of the price. Not worth the gym, spa or breakfast. Highly suggest the Azuri Guest House. It's a bit smaller and less"grand" but about 3x Cheaper, very clean and has AC. Located in the monti district where you can find cheap good food, it's more central and has a nightlife. -room was hot and humid with no way of adjusting the temperature mid October(the number 1 reason for getting a low score) -no way to turn AC on once they turn Heat on (ok if you don't mind noise by openining window) -reception is a bit stupid and lazy. Couldn't get towels, they didn't "know how to book a shuttle or taxi to the airport" -small gym that's not properly ventilated, it's extremely stuffy in there. 2 treadmills, a bike, up to 10kg dumbbells and a really bad piece of techno gym equipment. -Elevator is really small.
Proximity to Centrum. WIFI system had broken down. Had to find internet cafe which was extremely inconvenience. TV channels only in Italian and French. No English speaking channel. Hard for my daughter to cope with.
Everything was very good..... We will stay again there during our next trip to Rome.
they arranged traportation for us on the day of departure to the airport. too far from city center. the local subway in the neighbourhood stopped at 10 pm. very difficult to get back to hotel from city center.
lifts---poor; traffic so noisy at night ; hot breakfast so poor; this is a two+half * at the most .
Quiet place, not crawed. Nice decoration Poor service. The front desk did not really covered our needs, and during Breakfast not enough service. Small tables for breakfast. Very poor breakfast for a 4 star hotel (very bad bread and fruit)
clean, newly renovated no room service, few stuff, no blankets (!!!)- had to use bed cover, no free bottled drinking water
Very nice and welcoming staff. Nice, charming hotel and very clean. Very few TV channels in english
comfortable rooms, and excellent breakfast, wellcomming entrance, and lovely grounds allong with roof garden. No
The hotel was reasonably well located (5 min walk to Metro) and smart. For a clearly very recently decorated and fitted out hotel, the quality of finish was poor (screws not tighted, loo seats loose, etc.). The worste thing though was that the heating/AC controls in the rooms seemed to have no effect and the rooms were unbearably hot at night.
We got a free upgrade to a suite on arrival, excellent room with own terrace area, sky tv etc. The hotel is a good 15 min walk from bologna metro stop though.
lovely boutique hotel staff very friendly and helpful parking onsite free no iron not a great area no restaurants worth going to take about 30mins to walk to city centre
I liked that it was a smaller hotel where you got to know the staff over the course of the week. They cleaned my room every day, fresh towels and sheets and that sort of thing. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The driver from the airport was driving outright illegal. Also, their website said they had a wonderful terrace on the roof which was one of the deciding factors for me choosing their hotel, however when we got there there were no cushions for the sofas up there, so it couldn't be used.
Very nice hotel, very new, really nice room and friendly staff - easy access to public transport. We will come back!
price vs quality distance to the city center
Quite area Darkness in the room not aloud you to read easy
The rooms were large by european standards. Modern decorations. Beautiful building. Breakfast was good. Staff friendly and helpful. It seems to be more suited to smokers and I smelled cigarette smoke constantly in the room (i think via the ventilation system). The bed was a little hard for my preference. Our room was near the reception and next to another room which made it a bit noisy at times. I wanted to like this place more, and it was a beautiful place, but the smoke, noise and location made it a bit less appealing than i had hoped for.
Breakfast lovely. Main guy at reception is sweet, very accommodating. Bed very comfy. Bathroom soaps etc smelled great! The hotel could offer more information on what's going on nearby, where to eat, the park, cafes, the market.
More like a stay at a private and comfortable villa than a hotel. Extremely friendly staff, good organic breakfast (fruit, cereals, breads and cakes, no hot dishes) and nice garden to sit in. Room comfortable and roomy pleasant bathroom. Near the Auditorio. The desk in the room is small - not suitable for more than basic work.
Wonderful breakfast. Travel distance to the sites in Rome. Not close to metro and needed to catch a bus which was time consuming and busy.
The peaceful location away from the busy city, yet still within walking distance.
friendly staff / good breakfast the room needs a face lift (asap) ! the view was terrible !
Quality / price. Nice employees. Nice location (be careful: not in centre). My second time in this hotel: this weekend I booked a three persons room. This room was old and near a terrific / noisy machine (which was our perspective from the window).
Central location Quite loud
easy transportation near by. The room's condition was very poor: Bed's materss is in an awfull condition. Room's outer window does not close properly.
Good location, helpful staff. No tea of coffee making facilities in the room
Hotel can be rate as 2*+ or 3* not 4*! There r no WiFi in the rooms, bathroom isn`t good (old & broken daesn`t mean vintage), staffs especially reseption r lazy & cheeky. Also hotel is far from the center (about 1 hour by walk).
The breakfast is ok, rooms are ok and the bathrooms are nice and clean. I've made the reservation for the Regent Hotel and they put us in Ritz Hotel; the hotel is ok but is not a 4* , there is a lot of noise from outside, especially in the morning.
- Good location, good restaurants in the area - Close to the center - Rude staff, especially during the night
the facilities were very very poor, the staff was not very friendly except for a few of them, and the rooms were not comfortable nor clean enough!
Convenient to metro station. Helpful staff, value for money.
Staff was helpful and flexible and the room was quiet. This hotel really needs a renovation or at least the bathrooms need it badly. The shower is a most unusual experience: it gets you wet, but it doesn't really help you wash.
Room was very quiet. Easy access to bus route and to metro. Good breakfast selection. Allowed me to place items in hotel fridge. Staff all spoke English and answered all my questions. Supermarket next door and lots of restaurants in area. Safe area...able to have morning jog outside every morning. Would stay again No..everything was fine.
The rooms were beautifully decorated. Looked just like the pictures posted online. The neighborhood made me a little scared at first. Lots of graffiti all over, However, we did not have any problems and the people in the area did not appear to be worried.
the shower cubicle was too small for comfort.
The room was clean and the breakfast was good-- chocolate croissants, fresh orange juice and blood orange juice, rolls, jams, butter, and lots of different cereals. The location was terrible. The hotel itself is nice considering the cost, but the pictures on the website are inaccurate. Actually, the wall to the street is covered with graffiti and lined with huge trash bins. Only once you get inside the gates is there a decent hotel. Additionally, the hotel is very far from anything. It takes about twenty minutes by bus to get to any metro line that can take you to sites in Rome.
Hotel staff-verry nice and friendly Easy to access public transportation in order to reach the important touristic points quality of the bed; but for the money value was ok (quality/price report)
This is a budget hotel only. The rooms are clean but very small especially the showers. The courtyards are nicely decorated. The internet did not work during our stay. The area is not great but close to the bus for travelling into the city.
Staff was very friendly, the hotel was quiet, breakfast was adequate, and there is a small parking lot for the hotel and lots of public parking. The location is a bit seedy and the walk to Termini was farther than I thought. But, not really hotel's fault.
The staff were very knowledgeable about the area, very helpful. The restaurants in the area are very good, local flavor. The room was really attractive and clean. Breakfast was very good. Walking to the location, I was afraid I was in a really bad part of town. The graffiti is terrible, and the streets are pretty dirty, like everywhere in Rome. But I'm so glad I gave the area a second chance. It's a middle-class neighborhood with all age groups, and everyone comes out at about 7:30 to eat, walk, and converse with the neighbors. Don't let the graffiti scare you away!!! It is, however, not as close to Termini as you might think. Try to take public transit closer to the area.
It is in an up and coming studenty area, a small community in itself. With little music festivals/club/bars etc and an historic church.Only 20 min walk from the hustle and bustle of Roma Termini. So still central but out of the way. Geat to chill after a long days sightseeing. Huge room. Good transport links. No.
it was quiet, convenient and the service was efficient.
New furniture. Very helpful staff. Very close to La Sapienza University. Very very noisy place: noise from the main street (4 lanes) and from the other rooms not well isolated. Too expansive for the services offered. Uncomfortable bed.
The hotel is new (or recently renewed), the rooms are clean and confortable. The breakfast is very poor and also the isolation between rooms and the reception. This means you will hear everything that happens... this could be improved.
The rooms are neat and clean with good internet facilities. The Hotel however is located on the second floor and has only 6 rooms. Breakfast is also served inside the room between 7.30-9.30 which is nice. A negative point is that the rooms are not very soundproof. The walls are thin and you can easily hear everyone in the hallway and all the outside noise.
The cleanliness of the room and the balcony. The bed was very hard. The hotel was a little out of the way from the main attractions.
The hotel was well located from a major train terminal in Italy, which made it easier for luggage carriage/transport. The staff waited for our arrival (as it was a small Boutique hotel) and great value for money. The room was large (in comparison to some European hotel rooms). The bathroom especially the shower could have done with an upgrade. The hotel did not answer my query about bike storage at the hotel before we arrived. However this is a minor point as the bikes were not brought from Cinque Terre in Italy to Rome instead.
breakfast in bed and satellite TV (when it gets cold and dark outside) a bit of noise from the street
The Hotel is new and Clean! Location was pretty good and staff very helpful!!! Little noise...!!!
The room is clean, and the WiFi internet is free of charge. Still need 10 min. walk to the train station.
This cozy hotel is located in the quiet area near Roman University which is just 5-10min walking distance from Termini Station. It's convenient to get to the majority of place of interest by Bus 492 and Metro. Staff are very nice and they would wait for the last guest so don't be worry about the late check in. Breakfast is sent to the room. I recommend this hotel and would absolutely stay here if back to Rome again.
the rooms are very good for price, the street is quite and not far from center they must renew the carpets of lobby and elevator, very poor condition and not in concordance with the rooms.
The hotel was clean and room of good size, with large marble shower and reasonable bathroom size. It is located in a quiet suburb, 500 meters from Bologna Metro Station. It took about 10-15 minutes by Metro to arrive at the centre of the historic sites such as the Coliseum. Most of staff were helpful and spoke good English. Breakfast was served on the 6th floor and the continental breakfast was as acceptable in choice and quality – except the coffee. No coffee and tea making facilities in the hotel. The view from room 230 looks over an untidy courtyard.
location and cheap No shuttle available when I arrived
excellent area of the city for touring sightseeing and dinners after a day of vacationning
The room was tatty and the bathroom needed updating - shower poor and mould under the sealant
Kindness of the staff.
The hotel was much further away from the tube station (700 meters instead of 400 meters) than what was stated in the hotel description
The staff was helpful, the room was clean and big enough. The carpets outside the room were dirty and worn out.
We wanted to be near friends who live in the area so the location was excellent. Great value for Rome. Navigating to the tourist area could be difficult for the untraveled.
It was perfect for our stay in Rome. friendly staff, comfortable clean rooms, great bathroom, close for buses into the center of town, easy walk to the Borghese gardens. safe parking for our car, really good price. Will definately use it again.
Exxcellent service None
The hotel rivoli was a really nice place to stay that wasn't too expensive. The staff was very kind and easy to understand. The bathroom was absolutely beautiful and the rooms were a good size for the two of us. Also the breakfast was really delicious! The only issues we had were... it was a little bit of a hike to the city center, since we didn't have a car . So by the end of the day we were to exhausted to make it all the way back we had to cab. Lastly the only issue we had with the room was the air conditioning was a bit weak so the room was just a little warm for covers. Also in the bathroom there isn't any air flow only from outside so the room was very warm.
Location was good for my business and most staff were friendly and helpful (but definitely not all!) Hotel quite shabby and dusty (although clean overall). Many things were not done on first request (ie. restocking room, etc). Breakfast was poor and no restaurant / cafe in hotel which is inconvenient. Hotel not up to 4 star standard, perhaps a good 3 star. Most staff were helpful but some were downright arrogant and useless.
The staff were very friendly. The hotel was Italian in design, the rooms were very comfortable and best of all it was in rome.
Everything in the room worked perfect. Though it was a non-smoking room, we could smoke in the balcony. Though the hotel was full, we were kindly allowed a late(14 o'clock) check-out without any additional fee and after that our luggage was safe in a special room till we were offered a settle-price shuttle to the airport.. The hotel is in the walking distance from the Auditorium with all its events.. We came for the Rome Int.Film Festival For me it's a bit far fron the city center.
very friendly staff, clean room, price, decent breakfast, free wifi a bit noisy aircondition although it was winter and should not work
At least it was clean.
The breakfast was free and very good -- a rare hotel in Rome that provides something more than starchy and sweet. The toilet didn't work properly, and there was a leaking ceiling in the hall.
The staff was very kind, and the location of the hotel was in parioli, one of the best neighbourhood in Rome. The furniture was quite obsolete, some things in bathroom need to be fixed.
The hotel was very conveniently near to where our daughter lives. Parioli is a quiet area away from the bustle of the city centre and the hotel was delightfully quiet, no traffic sounds to disturb much needed rest. We were unable to get a snack on the Sunday evening, some limited availability of food in the hotel, (other than breakfast) would be a real bonus. After a day sightseeing, having to turn out again just to get a light snack is sad.
The staff was extremely helpful and nice! Too dark rooms. The window in my room was closed all the time so it was not very convinient to live without daylight =(
Internet Very dusty and the room I was given was tiny. For the amount of money you are spending to stay there it's not good value.
Few staffs are cooperative particular the onces in kitchen. Ac was not working. When I complained no reply. Bathroom isvery small. Hotel receotion staff irriating .
Very pleasent staff, good location very dark rooms cant understand the time of the day, rooms need renovation
Attractive room and hotel in an accessible location For a four star hotel overall facilities were lacking ,breakfast choice was limited ,and lacked facilities such as a bar or cafe area.
Air conditioning was rather weak. It did not really cool down the room I was in.
Easy bus access. Internet was supposed to work in our room, but it did not.
The location The average standard of the rooms. The lack of tea/coffee making facilities. The poor standard of the bathrooms. I.E dirty shower/jacuzzi.
close to transport
Very nice hotel, friendly staff, good location. At first we did not get a very nice room, but after asking for another one we got a very nice room (better value for money) view out of our hotel room
Great customer service, very personal. Nothing
The room was wonderfull, really beautifull and confortable, very spacious and with a lovely terrasse in a quiet and safe neighbourhood. The male staff were unpolite and did nothing to help, assist or even be cortious. Eg: we arrived late with a small child and a lot of luggage. Even though I am pregnant and there are a lot of steps on the entrance, in front of the reception hall, even though the receptionist was looking at us through the glass doors he didn't even bother to get up and open the double glass doors for us!!!
easy to get to the city centre - few stops by tram to the subway station, quite place Rome may be expensive, still the price was quite high for the quality - small room (when opening the wardrobe you could not move around the bet), almost no space to meet with colleagues - even through hotel bar people were going from their rooms, ... internet acces is not standard part, etc.
Clean, recently decorated to a high standard, reasonable breakfast We booked a room with double bed, but were first allocated a tiny room with two singles. We asked to be transfered to a room with a double bed, and we were, but it had a window with the lower shutters permanently closed so we had little light and no view. The room itself was ok, but small, with nowhere to sit.
Great location - easy to reach main city attractions by foot. The room / bathroom - cosy and very clean.
Nice and clean hotel in a quiet zone of Rome. Good value for your money.
the interior design and view from the window the beds were not the best for a couple since they were twin and had to be transformed into a king. The breakfast was ok but not that varied and no options for hot beverages in the morning. Parking is paid and was expensive.
the room is very clean and confortable.
Please write at least 15 words Breakfast variation poor - no fresh fruit and limited cold meat and cheese. Extra pillows in bedroom and an air conditioner that works would have been nice - shopping trip to castel romano a waste of money - would not recommend to guests.
Close to Foro Italico, Pleasant surroundings Small Rooms, Noisy ground floor rooms, Low quality breakfast buffet and service
Friendly staff - spoke good English
nice and easy-going, good breakfast not wifi in room
really good the price and the location but, in my opinion, the structure isn't a 4 star but three star.
It was located 2 stops away from the Roma Termini. If you took taxi, it should be around 8 euro. Staff were excellent and helpful. Room was clean and neat. The view face the street with the balcony was better than the other side. The breakfast was good and sufficient. They offered the choices of coffee, tea, orange juice, water, water with gas, milk, yogurt, cereal, fruite salad, cheese, 2 diffterent hams and 3 kinds of bread. For some reason, the room was too warm and we had to open the windows to cool down. You couldn't get the signal for internet after you purchased the hours at the reception. I spent one more night after I came back from Venice, but they gave me a room facing the backyard. In the nearby area, there were no supermaket even no 7-11 style, no cafes, no bars, no restarauts which meant you have to finish everything before you came back to the hotel. All in all, if you book the room from the website and could get a better deal, it was still worthy of staying.
Free Internet. Clean and comfortable room with air conditioning. Elevator needs work and was frightening.
Excelent location!!!! Quiet and near to subway. /
The best thing about this hotel is its location, just a few minutes from Policlinico metro station, direct line to Colesseo (10 min). But so called 4 stars hotel inside is 2 stars: the lightning in my single room was just 2 lamps, air conditioning sistem was broken. The worst is soundproofing, you hear everything what happens around you, which is very annoying. Breakfast is ok, stuff is very helpfull. Make good soundproofing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Easy to get to, nice facilities, quiet street, great breakfast, easy walk to metro (3 blocks),2 stops from train station. Some hotel staff did not seem to like Americans but others were very helpful. I would definitely recommend this hotel to others.
We were doing a lot of sightseeing and did not spend much time in the hotel apart from sleeping. With that purpose in mind it was all fine but as a place where it would be nice to spend time I guess it falls short. We also thought it was quite nice to be a bit out of the centre and Metro station was quite close by.
central location, air conditioning, friendly staff, good breakfast
ROME !!!! Perhaps the knowledge of english at the restaurant, but managed to be understood.
Very kind staff. Make sure you get (ask for) the coffee from the bar during breakfast. You can walk to the center if you don't mind a long walk 30-40 min (part. throught the park). A taxi will only cost you Euro 11 instead. Our room was in the basement - that is not as bad as it sounds as the window was still 2 meters high - but the view was limitted.
It is a hotel with style in a very quiet and excellent city zone with good connections to the city centre no
Quiet rooms, free parking, elegantly decorated rooms. We were advised that there was an alleged problem with some rooms' heating system and upon our arrival late in the afternoon, we were asked to move for one night at another hotel more than 5 km away.
beautiful decor and quiet location we could hear the shower next door
Hotel staff: great team, very warm welcome. We were given the best room of the hotel (corner room with big balcony) even if we asked and payed for a standard one. Big bathroom (shower only). We arrived earlier than planned and were welcomed with compimentary coffee and pastries. Young lady serving breakfast extremely kind, hard working but always smiling. Some problems with heating, not working properly during daytime. It seeems that our room had been occupied by heavy smoker before us - heavy smell of cigarette in the bathroom (vanished the second day of our stay).
the rooms were very clean, perfect breakfast, easy connection to the center by bus i reserved a room with jacuzzi but i never saw it,when i asked they said me that it's under availability, you can pay the same money and to take a perfect room or a small one poorly equiped,it depends on the reservations they have that period
Nice staff, clean room, nice surrounding little far from downtown
nothing. Staff was not very welcoming and alittle rude during check-in. Room was tiny & worst the bathroom had an exposed shower, water got all over the floor. Wife slipped and fell and almost crack her head on the toilet because of this. With the extra charges for double occupancy, bought total to over 1000 EUR for the three night stay! What a rip-off. I've stay at better hotel for way far less. The area around the hotel is also very ghetto.
Position in a vey quiet area of the town Very poor organisation of the staff serving breakfast
