Great location if you're interested in the palace. One of the nicest hotels I've ever stayed in Europe.
This hotel was awesome! I had a huge room with a huge bathroom. I felt like royalty. I definitely recommend this hotel. My friends got a smaller room so you may want to upgrade. The tram and subway station was a three minute walk away so it was convenient.
This hotel is located away from everything but being next to the tram & train made it a perfect location for us! I strongly recommend!
Great staff, great room and the most comfortable bed of our entire trip! Other than park and zoo, not much to walk to.
Very friendly staff. Traditional Viennese Restaurant.
The quaintness of the hotel, the closeness to the Palace. Parking was not easy accessible.
I really enjoyed my staying! The hotel and surroundings are beautiful, the staff excellent and all three dogs lovely!
Service was good. Staff helpful although not multilingual The first room (double) we had was somewhat below standard expected being a long narrow room with the beds arranged along one wall. The second visit the new room we had was a good standard room. We stayed for 2x4 day visits, plus another 2 nights for an emergency visit.
Nice and comfortable room that was taken care of every day. The bathroom was particularly spacious, extremely clean and fully equipped, i.e. well above of what you normally expect for a standart single room. It was generally nice and quiet. The staff was very friendly and helpful. One of the windows didn't close very well, so when it was windy outside there was a bit of noise. Not really a distressful thing, but there was a large burned out mark left after ironing on the top of the couch. TV had only 3 English speaking channels 2 of which news.
Very friendly staff, clean, good restaurant, quiet location, easy access to public transport, bus stop just across the street. On street parking was free.
Room was really bad, breakfeast was o.k dogs are not for kitchen
The staff was extremely, polite and friendly, and very helpful and accomodating. We didn't have Internet access in our room, so they set us up in the dining room. They were just super. No.
Our family loved the proximity to the Schonbrunn Palace with it's zoo and gardens. With no A/C, a summer stay would have been very hot. Luckily, we were there in spring.
Everything fine Reception is not with staff all the time
Everything worked well and took care of itself. I did not have to deal with any problems and could focus on the reason for being in Vienna. There could be a wider selection available at breakfast.
Location All ok!!
the atention of the staff and the breakfasts
good location, close to tourist attractions & metro dirty old room & bathroom, old equipment, poor breakfast
It is a simple hotel but the people are very nice. It is very close to the Zoo, the Schonbrun palace, the underground and has many typical restaurants and cafeterias nearby.
Located near Schonbrunn park and quite close to an underground station, this is a comfortable hotel. We were two people and got ourselves a huge room, with a double bed and a separate single bed. Besides the bathroom, there was also a small room that serves as closet. The only things to argue about are the curtains, so light that the sun rays will wake you up at dawn, and the breakfast, which is nothing exceptional. There's no computer in the lobby, instead there is a white parrot who managed to entertain us. It even told us 'ciao'!
Hospitality No bad points
I booked the hotel because of its proximity to Shronbonn Palace and it was ideal public transport was only a 5 minute walk away
The location of the hotel is near Schonbrunn palace and it is near the train station I did not feel that I was in a hotel, because the hotel occupies two floors from a building (not separate building)
the location and comfortable room and the huge dressing
Big rooms,nice breakfast on terasse
Room rates are very reasonable and staffs are kind. The location is within walking distance from the nearest U-bahn station (Hietzing), even from Schoenbrunn Palace. Furniture, bathroom, and other decoration in the room are a bit shabby, but they don't matter.
big room, good location with immediate access to Railway, Train, Bus. Comfort. relative small choice on the breakfast
Very friendly reception person allowed us to check in early after a tiring trip and nice accommodations (though a bit dated) for a reasonable price. Dim lighting, could not open window.
Good hotel, very close to the Schönbrun Garden wich is nice. Big and nice rooms at a good price. I also liked the parrot that stayed there. Outside the hotel is a restaurant called Otto wich has the best goulash soup in the world for only 3,50.
Quit and nice No
Very helpful and friendly staff at the reception with knowledge of local neighborhood (Heurigen).
Staff very friendly and the room was very clean. The hotel is in a very quite area and I felt safe. The underground is very easy to reach in 5 minutes wolking. Nothing I did't like but I would suggest the use of the lable 'do not disturb' so housekeepers do not enter when you are in during the day. Probably they already have them but I couldn't find any.
good hotel friendly staff, quiet nice residetnal area a bit far from centre, 10 min walk to metro and then 10-15 min to centre
Very polite hotel staff. Room was big and comfortable. During our stay the weather was not too hot so the temperature in the room was comfortable when opening the window. I think it might be hot inside when the weather is also hot because there was no air condition in the room.
Hotel staff were warm and friendly and very helpful. Continental breakfast was included in the price and there was an excellent selection including cereals, fruits, breads, cheeses, hams and boiled eggs together with tea, coffee and fruit juice in a bright and airy breakfast area. The rooms were well furnished and the bed was very comfortable. No
great breakfast with good choice of food that starts at 06:30; comfortable bed, quiet neighbourhood, so you can rest well. Single room is small, but clean. metro station is 400 m away and is 20 min ride to the stephansplatz. hotel is little away from the centre and the neighbourhood is residential area with nothing interesting to see or do. but it is good choice if you leave in the morning, spend the day in the city and return in the evening for the good night sleep. I most certinly recommend it...
The breakfast The tv remote control did not work. Only 1 soap.
Vienna far from center, silvestr price
Very pleasant staff, comfortable room, the best shower I have ever had for the force and temperature of the water. Compared to other hotels I have stayed at, I would not consider this one a four star but rather a three star hotel.
It was unexpectedly clean. The room's floor, showers and bathroom were cleaned every day. The breakfast was even better than many hotels. The hotel staff, including cleaning people, is doing excellent job.. The rooms are a little small for 4 people.
parking is for free, and cleaness of the place that we should leave the rooms from 9 to15 for cleaning everyday . Resurant does not have many options
Very clean, Grate location, Cheep
