This is probably the best hotel in Malaga, and we were afforded one of the best rooms with a viev across the harbour. the location is perfect.
The location and friendliness of front desk staff Extremely slow service in the bar, where we ate. The fact that the Atico bar was closed for a private function. The lack of a ramp at the front entrance with no staff to help with luggage, as we arrived.
complementary drinks in bar no internet, no dressing gowns no slippers no towels at the pool area all these things were offered prior to booking
Our room was too hot, preventing us from sleeping well, and when we opened the window it was too noisy to sleep! When we complained we were told that the air conditioning was not available at that time of the year. We would not stay with you again in the hotel before checking that this was avaiable for the time we planned to be in Malaga.
It`s within easy reach of the main sites of interests and city facilities. It`s roof top swimming pool and restaurant are idyllic! It does not have its own garage but your car is parked by Hotel staff. A/C in the room was not efficient enough. In hot weather the room felt uncomfortably hot.
Location of the hotel only cable internet in rooms, should be wifi
the fact that although the hotel was in the city centre it had a roof top pool so you could also s[end time relaxing and chilling out
Excellent location and spacious bedroom The bed was not very comfortable, old & creaky!!
I liked the comfort of the room, the excellent facilities, and the helpfulness and friendliness of the staff. I have no complaints.
The location is excellent
excellent position in the heart of the city, wide, clean and super confortable room the stair at the entrance leading to the lift: if one has a lot of luggage is a bit unconfortable. However, as it is due to the fact that the hotel is in the very heart of the city, is a reasonable price to pay.
central location, spacious rooms
Beautiful Design. Delicious breakfast!
Excellent service from attentive staff and a very good buffet breakfast. The hotel is perfectly located in the centre of Malaga. Although there a lot of very good restaurants very close, sometimes a restaurant offering a full menu gives you the option of dining in.
The proximity to the major sites in Malaga and of course its location right on Marques de Larios, one of the best places to shop while in Malaga! We also loved the roof terrace with the views of the cathedral and Alcazaba lit up at night.
Excellent location and efficient, friendly staff.
Superb location and very stylishly furnished. Window faced directly onto wall which was about 1 metre away.
I liked the boutique style and decor and good value/ breakfast up to 12 noon. Excellent location for shopping and beach and walking distance from the train station. Liked everything other than no shaver/toothbrush socket in bathroom.
The location of the hotel is perfect no gym
Location is fantastic, This is our second stay at the hotel in a junior suite which over looked the square. There is a 30 minute walk to the beach and you can stroll through a lovely park on route. Breakfast is on until 12 noon which means it is never crowded. The sound of chairs being scraped along the floor at breakfast on both stays we were above the breakfast room but it did not spoil our stay, we would stay at the hotel again.
Staff very helpful, hotel cleanliness, location within Malaga. If you want 4star with all the bells and whistles and pay through the nose for them this is not for you.
The location of the hotel in the middle of the city. It was also nice to have airconditioning and a bath. small room, no double bed, a very small table (you can not sit on the table with two persons), no view (walls)
Location, quiet, clean
Easy to find - well placed
Good location, cleaness, nice staff. They did not have breakfast at the hotel.
central location, friendly staff Some noise from the street at night time
Very friendly and helpful staff, a very good location for central Malaga. It would have been nice to have a kettle in the room and for there to be breakfast facilities on site
The hotel room was clean The location is not so great if you are a woman traveling alone and want to be out in the evenings. The street the hotel is on is badly lid and the small resturants around are deserted with staff who stare and make you feel uncomfortable.
It was clean, the staff very nice and not expensive The room was really basic
The central location of the hotel was superb, with in walking distance of Malagas' main landmarks
Central location. Would like to have had a room which didn't face on to the street as the street was noisy.
very convenient for the most interesting part of the old city and within walking distance of the most important historical and cultural sites; a wide choice of bars and restaurants close by, and a characterful cocktail bar just across the street! the street is very busy almost all the time, so it was noisy during the early hours of the morning, making sleep difficult
Excellent value for money. Very central for city. Comfortable room and I loved the unusual, modern artwork in every area of hotel. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful.
The decor It was so noisy we could not sleep well - this is the reason I wouldn't recommend it . There may have been quieter rooms at the back of the hotel - we were on the street
Location Location to my friends apartment No windows in the room to the outside made my wife feel 'closed in' or clausterphobic.
Location of hotel Cleanliness of hotel The guy working the night shift was very co-operative and pleasant, he helped us with a minor problem in the room and he suggested places to eat out. We encountered three members of staff during our visit, two of them very pleasant and attentive to our requests. The girl working the desk when we checked out was dismissive to the point of bordering on rude.
not a lot I had thought it would be an unusual place to stay, from having seen the photos on the Internet. However, when I was there in person, I found the whole place had a seedy and tacky feel. The art hanging all over the hotel was very poor. Combined with the red bedcovers and the burn hole in one of them from a cigarette, we did not really enjoy our stay. Also, the wall was paper thin between us and the room next door. Finally, the holder for holding up the shower head was broken, which was a bit annoying, but as we were only staying for the one night and were tired, we didn't bother to complain.
Hotel well run and in a great location for a city break. Staff do not speak much English but were very helpful and pleasant. Single rooms were very small and bed was as small as they come! But very nice shower bathroom so overall good for just a short stay.
Very convenient position. Very unusual design - exciting place to stay in.. Good facilities. Breakfasts could be better and in a better room.
The comfort of the room and convenient location of the hotel.
Nice spacious rooms. No fuss.
Excellent position just by the city centre and 15 min walk from the beach. Very clean room and hotel cafeteria in the building. Tourist office 50m from hotel. Taxi stop in front of the house. nothing serious, they do no offer breakfast
Localization is great Wery loud, you can hear everyone on the street and room next to yours
Close to town. Basic
The location is excellent, only 200 meters from the cathedaral and historic city centre, with numerous bars and restaurants nearby
Excellent location in the city centre. It is close to bars, restaurants and a bus service to the airport (number 19). My boyfriend normally stays here when in Malaga. The desk staff recognised his name and gave us an excellent room with not one, but two balconies. Our room was overlooked by the neighbours, but it wasn't a massive problem for us.
The location and the price are fantastic, excellent for a city break. Breakfast a little sparse, but again you get what you pay for.
Centrally placed for walking the City. On main bus route for the airport and everywhere else! Plenty of bars locally. 2 minutes from the olf part of the city and a short walk to the port. Our room was fine but I suspect rooms at the front would be very noisy.
The staff were very helpful and friendly, and very efficient. The location of the hotel was excellent for shopping and eating.
Room was clean and suitable for an overnight stay - the bathroom was particularly good!! The bedspreads had a couple of minor cigarette burns but otherwise all was good
they didnt clean the towels
Friendly staff, quick check in, sound local knowledge Bed side lamps broken/no bulbs
Great value for money. The staff was excellent, parking very close. Can recommend this hotel to anyone.....only 2 mins walk to the cathedral
Very centrally located!
The staff was very helpful and the location was perfect! Nothing to comment here..I liked it a lot.
Excellent position too! Didn't get to use Hotel parking option, found on-strret space instead so can't comment. On that note, - maybe a detailed map (poss last 1/2 kilometre) to get you to the front door. Didn't have much of a view from my room, didn't worry me so much as I was only there overnight, - something you might want to think about if your staying longer.
Staff were particularly friendly and helpful. Location was close to everything I wanted to see. This seemed quite expensive compared to other establishments providing similar facilities.
Very nice staff. Location excellent. Rooms clean and nice
Location, comfort of rooms, price, lift, helpful staff. No public rooms i.e lounges etc.No cafeteria/restaurant, but a good cafeteria across the road. I would certainly recommend this hotel. No complaints at all. Great value for money in an excellent quiet location
Great location, next to the cathedral and Picasso museum, and just around the corner from the Alcazaba. In the bit we were in, the walls were paper thin and a lot of noise from outside came in.
Very tiny room that was threadbare. Charge you exra 5 E if you check in after 9, but you don't know that until after you book. No toiletries, no breakfast
The management was particularly helpful.
very kind people who work there.super cleaning of the room every day.new towels every day the noise of the elevator during the night
Friendly helpful staff, room very clean and a decent size, excellent central location, good value by Malaga standards. Malaga is well worth a visit, and the Hotel Trebol makes a good base. nothing
nice 2 star hotel , the room was Comfort. not far from old city. not so cheap
I found the Hotel very clean, the staff very helpfull and friendly. My room was a little compact but very adequate and quiet. I intend to visit Malage as often as possible as I have family living there, and will use this Hotel.
The staff is friendly and professional. This hotel is clean and well located, in the historical place, near the main street where you can catch buses. Even if the room is not very big, the bed is big (i am 1m95 so it was important for me), the bathroom clean and the room comfortable.
We stayed at this hotel for one night, the hotel is situated in a small street away from the main road, we wanted a hotel that was close to the centre with good transport links for the airport, this hotel fitted the bill perfectly. It is about a 10 minute walk to the railway station where you can catch a train to Malaga airport. The train runs every half an hour and takes 15 minutes. The walk into the shopping centre of Malaga takes about 5 minutes. We had a room on the first floor looking over the internal patio. The room was modern and clean with comfortable beds and a modern bathroom. This hotel is good value for money . I would recommend this hotel for a short stay. Lots of building work in Malaga itself and the buildings near the hotel were in the process of being modernised.
good location, nice staff, very clean romm as well as all hotel too small window
it is a worth accomodation in terms of cost, position. very centre of town, close to many tapas bar. the place is minimal, no breakfast but ther is a nice bar with churros! not far from bus station.
The staff were very friendly and helpful.
