Every thing was really excellent .. The staff were really friendly helpful , great guidance , with a big smile .. Very modern hotel , very clean and the location was really perfect .. The breakfast was not included in the room rate not even an option when I did the booking so I can include it with the booking
the front off staf are really help us with a perfect way & the houes keeper are more than great, just need litel more in english some department need ,english for comunication
Top notch for a European hotel in terms of cleanliness and design. The location is not ideal, but taxis were easy to come by. Architecturally it's stunning. The rooftop pool is subpar (tiny) and has woefully inadequate seating.
Location, the porter (very nice people) the restaurant There were no spa, in a 5* that´s not on.....
Rooftop and lobby bars are amazing Design of the hotel was beautiful and extremely trendy
Hotel decor, nice room, central location No window to the outside from the room
As other people have said, it is the staff at this hotel that were really great and I have told people about it that I would not normally tell or make comment to. If all hotels used this one as an example of how to deal with customers from the point you enter it, travelling would be a lot more pleasant. It is the little things that they do so well and always cheerfully, they respond, they are good at what they do from the restaurant to the bar to reception and the doorman and porter. I dont know how they do it, but they need to keep the secret and keep it going!! The size of the gym and the pool!!
The hotel is very attractive, sleek and modern. The best feature is the location, just a short walk to Puerta Del Sol and tons of restaurants/tapas bars, and a pleasant walk to the Prado or the Palace Real. The desk staff were very helpful in identifying nearby restaurants and answering questions about Madrid. The bathroom amenities were outstanding, nice big towels and a great shower. Black out curtains and free internet were a big plus. Urban is very attractive and the rooms spacious by European standards, but ours on Floor 1 was very noisy. Not sure about the upper floors, but we heard everyone in the hallway, all the early morning preparations and the popular bar at night. The beds may be to European tastes, but far too firm for us - just a mattress on a platform. The breakfast was inappropriately expensive (a smaller, more affordable option - coffee, juice and croissants, perhaps?). We also missed being able to utilize some of the common spaces, esp. the roof terrace, due to many private functions. The desk staff were great but others seemed more interested in chic than service. This hotel is best suited for (much) younger people and business travelers.
the service were very good +++ and very personalliti. and very near the center. the urban hotel desezin to my test. no.
Location and cleanliness all signs are in Spanish. the hotel is not designed for international visiters.
At EUR 22 plus per person, breakfast is too expensive. It is good, but out of proportion with what you get ...which ios a good breakfast.
Excellent Design. Great Location. Staff and Amenities. The bed wasn't very comfortable...and the sheets were like sand paper.
The room was very nice and the location was great. The bathroom door looks nice but doesn't work. when "closed" there is a 1cm gap all around the door.
Lo mejor del hotel es la ubicacion que te deja cerca de la mayoria de las atracciones de la ciudad Las habiaciones pequeñas
It was frankly a disapointing experience. Nothing I really liked at the hotel except for the location. Nothing worked at the hotel, the rooms were small and the bathroom flooded. They say they have internetaccess all over the hotel, but that didn't work either...
our room was perfect.also hotel staff was so kind and hospitable. no
Staff not very helpful.
A decent business hotel with clean, comfortable rooms with large windows, good bathroom, excellent location, helpful staff - nothing fancy, but good value for money
very good location. Room size and layout better than other Madrid hotels I've tried but.... Free wifi works intermittently or not at all makingit impossible for business. I had to go to Starbucks over the road. The shower was impossible to work without instructions. Why don't they leave instructions next to the shower. The next day there was no hot water ! Such a basic thing to get right. Clearly no interior designer in the reception area with a mix styles looking very odd.
good location-- convenient to center of city first night they put us in "room 107"-- next to the dining room and across from the kitchen. after 630am it was impossible to sleep!
Clean modern facilities, location
Friendliness of staff who gladly provided ice for my wife's broken hand
The owner couple couldn't have been friendlier and they really made us feel welcome and were eager to make our stay better. The location was excellent. There was a lot of noise from the hostal one floor up, seems the ceilings were made of paper.
The location is excellent only a few minutes walk from Puerta del Sol where all the shops, restaurants and bars are plus the tube station. Plaza Mayor, the palace and park Retiro all in walking distance. Its only 4 stops on the tube from attocha railway station. The whole place was very clean and well presented. Staff were friendly and are there 24hrs. We had one of the rooms to the rear which had no view at all but then we stayed there for the location, not the view.
excellent service and friendly people. Perfect location in the hart of the city centre. Relative small but very clean and comfortable rooms. We really enjoyed our stay there
It is a very nice hostel which has great location. All attractions are within walking distance. The room was quite and clean. I think it is really good deal for the price. I was with my father and small daughter and we had a very plesant stay. The bathroom is a bit small for 3 people but this is not really a big deal.
Excellent location, comfortable rooms, good price and helpful, friendly staff.
The service is good
good location, friendly staff walls were very thin, bring your earplugs
Lady at the Reception was very helpful & tried her best to explainthe Metro routes, locations etc. Lack of knowledge of English language by the Lady at Reception.
felt like at home
Really good for the low price. The hotel location is very central. The room was basic, but clean and all ok. Nice owners. Good for people who just want a basic place to sleep at a good location. Toilet small. No seperate bedlamps. No refrigiator or kettle for hot water, but all in all very fine compare to the price.
The location in central Madrid was convenient and fun. The key that I received to get into the first door (the door on the street) didn't work and I had to wait for someone to open the door for me.
The room was very clean and nice. The room was small, but it is of little amount.
Very convenient location to major attractions like the Prado, metro, Pta Del Sol, etc. It is on 2nd floor and no elevators. Need to carry luggage up the stairs, although, the staff helped.
Location in the city center, clean facilities, good value for money Staff doesn't speak english
Good wi-fi, personal key for the entrance door, great location
The best of Olga is location of it. No one speaks English
Staff and location are good, very quiet for a downtown hotel.
The very clean room and bed sheets
had all the mod cons, air con, flat screen tv.beds were made everyday & we were given clean towels everyday as well.fantastic location in the middle of madrid, but off a quiet street.
Great location, cheap, clean room, helpful staff but without any English word.
This hotel is no comfortable at all. Very poor condition and price wise not worthit. So think carefully before anyone book this hotel. Shower taps are not working properly and besin is moving. Wifi internet connectivity is very very poor.
The hotel is very well located - close to the museums, shopping and main sights. Staff were very helpful. It could do with a major refurbishment to improve the standards of the rooms and bathrooms.
distance to cetnre Madrid old bath-tub
Location was terrific, close to Plaza del Sol and walking distance to Prado and Thyssen-Bornemiza museums; price was fair; good restaurants on same street, staff was helpful, bed was comfy, room was large; bath was clean; there were lights over the bed so I could read; free wi-fi worked perfectly in my room Would have liked to have a breakfast room
excellant staff, clean hotel, great location, a little dated for the cost otherwise excellant
Reasonable facilities, helpful staff, value for money, excellent location.
Location. The guy from the reception desk wasn't so polite at the end as at the beggining. Maybe he had just a bad day...
Great Value for Money! Clean, Friendly and at a low cost!
location and stuff. 24 hrs reception. Dirty and noisy, no soap, no shampoo. Expensive compare to what it offers
The staff were very friendly and helpful. The location was excellent for access to central Madrid and its facilities. Nothing bad to say about it.
the location is good, near to Sol，quiet at night the receptionist is not good at english,he is not willing to help others, either.there is no facilities in the hotel like hair drier and glass.
Polite hotel staff, but they don't speak Russian. Hotel is in the center of Madrid no
