The best things about these apartments were their central location in the middle of the old town, the helpfulness and friendliness of the owners and the value for money they offered I found the breakfast somewhat repetitive with very little choice available however there was enough to eat and the hostess was lovely.
The position of the apartment we stayed in was excellent inside the old town of Dubrovnik and right near Pile Gate (for local bus to the bus station). On our arrival, the manager collected us from the central bus station, which was very kind. The floor of apartment needed a good clean, a fryinpg pan for the kitchen would be useful, and the is no internetaccess inside the apartment or outside the windows - the only potential access is the city's free WiFi network, that you might be able to pick up in a small outdoor area down the other end of town (We had a usb modem & bought a data sim card from Vip/Vodafone, which worked a little in the apartment). Still, we had a great stay here.
The hotel is just inside the town, it's a very old building in one of the narrow streets of the town. We had a room with balcony, it was clean and very comfortable. It was just like home in the old city! Thanks for everything.
The location, value for money and the room was great. Plus the awesome wine bar, D'Vino, a few doors away!!!
No internet eventhough it is written that there is a wireless connection!
Clean & comfortable. Very welcoming and helpfull staff. None.
The breakfasts were excellent. Vlado was a great assist when asked. He delivered our luggage to our room, situated at the top of 80 steps and arranged to do our laundry in house. The room was spartan and was furnishings sparce. One did have to climb about 80 steps to reach the room from the street level. This is not a place for those having difficulty walking or climbing stairs.
It is a simple bed & breakfast near the city centre, a nice walk downhill, very basic but clean, good value for money. Very friendly staff / people. The rooms were in a different house from the breakfast, which is ok in good weather, but can be a pain in bad weather. 69 steps from street property of room (plus another 2 floors to cllimb then) and 19 stpes from street to breakfast. a week there and you'd be fit.
it's just a fact of life that you don't get much for your money in Dubrovnik very very hard to get to with suitcases - you can't really walk there from the bus stop
The owner was very kind. He gave us good advice before visiting Dubrovnik. He arranged a guide in order for us to get off at the correct bus stop. In addition, he waited for us at the bus stop and he kindly guided us to the hotel. Thanks for everything !!
Vlado and his wife and kind and helpful proprietors. This is not a hotel but a guest house. It has beautiful views and I didn't mind the walk up from the old town (a fairly gentle climb but about 250 steps although you can walk down via the road). Overall I enjoyed my stay very much. There was little I didn't like about this guest house although the furnishings are simple (alot of IKEA).
close to city center, nice breakfast you have to go up some stairs a small walking path to get from the street to the rooms
Very close to Old Town (Stari Grad), nice rooms, excellent breakfast. Family run business. Proprierter, Vlado, was eager to share information about attractions, very knowledgeable.
Administrator's kindness and dedication. Location near the Old Town Staircases, 173 stairs to the Old Town, and 70 additional stairs for the first room we occupied (they changed our room the second day). If you need WiFi better ask first if it's available.
The owner of the hotel was very pleasant and willing to help out will all we needed. He even picked us up at the bus station and make us familiar with landmarks of Dubrovnik. The room was clean and the location was 10 minutes' walk from the Old Town. It would have been useful if we could have used kithchen or at least have some place to make a coffee.
The attitude of the staff to us was very good (every possible help, etc.) There are no glasses, no cups, nothing to say - no (electric) tee kettle in the room!
